"What's wrong, (Y/N)? You seem to be spacing out," the purple witch says setting down her teacup. You sighed, setting down your own before looking at the librarian. "Ah, you noticed, huh?" you half-asked, looking at the cup with eyes reflecting your worried thoughts.
There was silence, the gentle wind rustling the leaves of the tree that provided shade for you and the other female across you. "I'm just worried about Jea-- Ah, Acting Grand Master's health," you admitted willingly, feeling a tinge on your cheeks when you thought about the blonde.
Lisa's eyes widened slightly in amusement then relaxed into a smile. "Well, you can go and check up on her, you know?" she says, bringing her cup closer to her lips once more to take a sip. "A, ah! I couldn't.. I, I mean, I would love to, but I..!!" You stopped, not wanting to embarrass yourself with your hasty words and just avert your eyes to the ground awkwardly.
Lisa chuckles, seeing how easy it was for you to turn pink. "I don't think she wants to be bothered right now.. Seeing as she is piled up with work, you know?" you confessed. Lisa sighs then leaned her body forward, head resting on the palm of her hands. "I'm sure she wouldn't mind and I bet she'd love to see you. After all, aren't you her lover?" She smiles, seeing you look at her.
"Ah, you're right, but um.." You avert your gaze as quickly as it stared at the female, scratching your cheeks weakily. "Oh, I'm sure it will be fine!" Lisa stands up, looking down at you with a hand on her hip. "Come on. If you really care for her, then it's best to check up on her."
You were hesitant, but ended up following the Witch of Purple Rose to the Favonius Headquarters.
Lisa lightly knocks on the office's door, waiting for a muffled voice through the wooden door of permission to enter. "Jean, a pretty fairy came to see you," Lisa greets when she opens the door.
Jean looks up from her work to stare at you and Lisa. "Oh, (Y/N), what brings you here?" she ask. "Oh, I came to see you.." you confessed, feeling down at the sight of the blonde's messy desk. She hasn't been home for the past couple of days and it made you worry, but you weren't brave enough to just drag her home.
Lisa quietly slips out of the room, leaving you all alone with the Dandelion Knight to chat. "I'm sure I have worried you, right?" Jean asks, standing up from behind the desk to walk over to you. "A bit, yeah.. I just want you to come home and rest."
She sighs and offered you to sit down with her on the sofa backed against one of the walls of the room. "I'm almost finished with my work; I promise I'll be home soon," she says, smiling to reassure you. However, you didn't buy it, seeing the papers on her desk.
Jean notices your eyes on the paper and takes your hands in hers, trying her best to reassure you. "Most of them are completed, I promise you," she says and changes topic. "How are you?"
"I'm alright.. I just wish that you would come home," you say, relaxing under the sunlight that shone through the windows. Jean smiles at your caring personality and rested her head on one of your shoulders, letting an airy chuckle when you stiffened. "Can I rest on you for a while?" she asks,
"Of course," you answered, hearing her voice croak fatigue. After a while, you notice that she was rather too still, yet relaxed, and soon realized that she fell asleep. It was saddening to know that she was just that tired and made it so that she would be comfortable sleeping, laying down on the sofa and used yourself as a pillow for her to rest. She most likely will wake up if the warmth that you bring her suddenly fades, so you stayed.
You undo her ponytail so that her head wouldn't hurt and stroke her head gently, lacing your fingers through her golden locks. After days of not coming home, you missed just laying down with her in the comfort of your bed, stroking her hair as the two of you chat. Of course, she was asleep right now, but you were still happy about it.
"Rest well, Jean," you say softly and kissed the crown of her head, soon feeling your eyelids fall heavy under the warmth of the sun. When Jean wakes up, she will definitely feel much more energised and that is all you care about.

Crap. I didn't get the Lilia Tsum card noooo!! It ended today!!
Why do I keep procrastinating..? 💔
If Lilia broke up with me I'd probably go for the therapist. I need to assess what the fork is wrong with me, why do I gravitate unsustainable relationships with single grandads
Haha, so true, anon! Lilia is just too good of a forbidden fruit for us. ^v^

She looked so beautiful sitting in the midst of those glaze lilies, a smile on her lips and eyes gentle with a soft glow from the sunlight as she looked at the flowers. She plucks a glaze lily and brought it up to her nose, pushing a strand of her long hair behind her ears.
At that moment, it felt as if the rest of the world stopped. Your eyes glimmered and your face dusted with a light pink. To you, she was a goddess under that one beautiful and bright day and hope that you could get to see more of her in the future.
You see, you were a travelling painter and writer who is inspired by anything and everything around you. Travelling all across Teyvat, anybody would thought that you would have already met that eureka moment at its highest peak but no, you didn't- not until your travel to Liyue, that is.
Liyue, like all regions of Teyvat, had a unique style that distinguishes itself from others: the aesthetic of buildings, the aromatic dishes, its culture, yearly festivals-- you name it. It draws many and all sorts of people- either for work or for fun and you were there for the latter.
The bustling of crowds and the bright lights of the city at night have you that peaceful yet lively atmosphere that made you look at everything in awe. There was simply too much things one could write about and many places surrounding Liyue to paint, but none of them really sparked that motivation.
It was only when you took a walk outside of Liyue, that you found your spark. In the field full of glaze lilies, there was a woman, alone, in Liyue esque clothing. She had hair that was white as the snow in Dragonspine and eyes that was the colour of a phoenix and full of love and life. Your heart pounded against your chest like never before. She was alluring.
You took a step closer but the sound of grass bring crumpled upon made her alert and her reaction to the sound was faster than a normal person, like she was a warrior on full alert. "Who are you?" she asks sternly and her soft gaze became sharp as soon as her eyes landed on you.
"Oh, um, sorry to alert you," you started, "I was just passing by when I saw you and um.." You didn't say what you were thinking- her looking beautiful- to save yourself from embarrassment and from the- what would have been- suspicious gaze on you.
"Oh, is that so?" she says and starts to inspect you from head to toe, taking every little details of you. "Hm, it doesn't look like you're from Liyue. Are you an adventurer?"
"Ah, you can say that.." You scratch the back of your head shyly. "I'm travelling across Teyvat for inspiration." The lady hums, bringing her fingers on her chin. "So, I'm assuming you're here for inspiration?" she clarifies herself and you nod. A smile forms on her lips. "Not a lot come by this place as there are many monsters and that there are glaze lilies that can already be found within the city."
She then stood up and turns her full body to you. "Then, I shall be leaving so I can give you the scenery to help inspire you," she says and bows politely, excusing herself from your sight. You watched as her figure disappears from your sight, returning to the city. When you turned around, the scenery before you felt different. It felt sort of lonely and empty without the lady who basked in the sunlight and that spark suddenly died as soon as your eyes landed on it.
You decided to call it a day out in the wilderness and return back to the safety of the city, but not before seeing something glimmer in the midst of flowers under the sun's light. You walked closer and see a jewelry just sitting there and you presumed that it was the lady's so you picked it up, but since she was far gone, you can't hope to catch up to her, so you just hope that you two will meet again.
On the next day, you found Luhua Pool and decided to paint the scenery. It was very beautiful indeed so you sat there and painted away. As you were painting, you couldn't help but let your mind wander to the lady from yesterday.
She was a local which means you would see her somewhere in the city. However, she didn't look like a simple worker of the local stores or restaurants which meant that you can't simply walk into buildings and expect her to be there.
You still remember of the jewelry that you found and rummage your satchel for it. It was kept well inside a small box that you bought not soon after returning to the city. You suddenly pictured the white-haired female, alone, in that field of flowers, looking so beautiful that it took your breath away.
Subconsciously, you picked up a new canvas and paintbrush and spent that day painting the scene from yesterday with the best of your memories. The field itself was pretty, but it was her that made it even more so beautiful than it already was. When you were finished, the sun was already setting in the horizon. You took a step back to look at your work and praised it. It was your favourite and the one where you put so much care and effort into. If only the lady was there to see it.
You packed your belongings inside your satchel and made your way down the mountain you were on. You felt that the sun was setting rather quickly because the moon and a couple of stars were already dusting the now dark sky and you were nowhere near the city.
Not being a vision user, it kind of sucked that you have to fear of hilichurls suddenly appearing before you. The thought alone made you clutch the strap of your satchel and began frantically looking around.
Then- to your dread- you see a bunch of hilichurls in the distance. Some were sleeping while others were awake and on guard; there was even a mitachurl which just made the whole thing much worse than it already is. You can make your way around the camp so that's what you did, not knowing there there was a sleeping hilichurl in the direction you were heading. It woke up and set the alarm for the others as well.
"Oh, for the love of..!" You gripped tightly on your satchel and made a run for it. Through the years of travelling, your legs gotten quite used to long travels, as well as running away from encountered hilichurls. It was something not worth bragging since it's for survival.
You looked back and see that a hilichurl with a fire bat-like weapon sped up than the rest. In a panic, you sprinted faster, but since you weren't looking forward, you didnt see the conveniently placed log.
You tripped over it and ended up scratching your chin from the impact. You turn your body and see that they the samachurls was no more than a metre away, ready to swing its axe. Closing your eyes, you expected for the worst.
When ten seconds passed and the strike didn't come, you open one eye and then both to see some sort of barrier in front of you. "Are you alright?" Upon hearing the voice, you looked over your shoulders and see the white-haired female of whom you just painted of not too long ago.
Not waiting for an answer, she casted little rocks that was strong enough to wipe all of the hilichurls out of sight and returned back to you, kneeling down to inspect your injuries. "You're lucky that I was on my way back to the city and found you," she states. "Archon forbids what might have happened to you if I were not around."
She gets up on her feet again and stretches out a hand for you to grab. "Come on, I'll treat your wounds at my place." You didn't think it through as you hastily accepted the offered hand and followed her back inside the city.
She lead you up a couple of stairs and to your shocking news, up to the Jade Chamber that you had heard so many praises about. "Um, excuse me, but isn't this place off limits for common folks?" you ask, your eyes darting across the place with a mix of uneasiness and excitement. "It is, usually, but since you are injured, I've made an exception."
The words caught you by surprise and stare at the back of the female who rummage through shelves and drawers, looking for the things she needed. "Wait, so, are you Lady Ningguang, the Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing!?" you exclaim. She hums, a small smile tugging her lips. "I see you're well informed of Liyue. Yes, I am and this is my home," she answers. Once she found the thing she wanted- which was a medical kit- she walks to where you were sitting and places the kit on the table beside you.
"This will sting so I apologise beforehand," she said and took out a cotton, dabbing some kind of ointment on it. She gently cups your face with her free hand and tilts it upwards before placing the cotton on the bottom of your chin.
She wasn't lying when it would sting and you hissed at the sudden stinging pain you felt. She apologises again before doing it a couple more times. "There, that should heal up in no time," she says as soon as she pulls away.
You watched her quietly from your seat, mesmerized by the sight of her as she cleans up. "Beautiful." Before you could comprehend what came out from underneath your breath, Ningguang heard it and looks at you with a baffled look. "I beg your pardon?"
You realized what you said and shook your head hastily. "A, ah, did I say that out loud?" you ask, more to yourself. I-it's just that.. Um, I really think you're beautiful, Lady Ningguang and I hope that we could meet more often.." You scratched your cheek, averting your gaze from the Tianquan.
There was a brief awkward silence which made you kinda wish that you hadn't said what you said just a few moments ago. Then, "Thank you," she says. You look up and see her smiling. "I.. I do like the thought of knowing someone outside of working matters."
Your eyes glimmered in happiness that soon reached your lips. "R-really? Then, I'm happy," you said and remembered something the slipped your mind. "Oh, right, I was wondering if it would be alright to ask what you were doing out so late?"
"Oh, I was looking for something that I had dropped yesterday. I had thought I dropped it by the fields.." she answers. You knew what that 'something' is and asked, "Are you perhaps looking for a jewelry?" She looks at you with hope in her eyes. "Do you know where it is?"
You nodded and look through your satchel. "I found it lying on the grass and kept it safe, thinking that it was yours," you say in honest and pulled out the box it was kept in before walking towards her, stretching the box towards her. "I'm glad to have stumbled upon you so that I could return it to you."
Ningguang smiles and accepts the box. "Thank you," she says in a gentle tone. "By the way, I haven't gotten your name, have I?" You shook your head. "My name is (Y/N)," you answered.
"Well, (Y/N), I hope we can become great friends," she says to which you happily nod. "Me too."

He doesn't know when so don't ask him. But he does know that you had somehow bewitched him into liking you because he couldn't explain what it is about you that had made him fall for you. Was it your hair? Eyes? Smile? Again, he doesn't know and all he could do is blame you for it.
His eyes stare lazily at the crowd, thoughts completely all about you and only you. He wishes he could see you-- oh, would you look at that? Not too far away, he spots a familiar stature, eyes looking at a list. You.
He pondered at today's date, crossing his arms. Based on his notes from observing you, you were out shopping for groceries. Oh, how could he forget that? That was the reason why he was out and about with no particular purpose tied to the Tsaritsa at all. He was grateful at how you always had a routine. That way, he could have these.. Encounters. He doesn't do much other than stare. Creepy, but he does not dare walk up to you to strike a conversation. He only does it when there is a really good excuse for them.
"I thought I'd find you here," a smooth voice spoke from behind the short male, a chuckle following after. Scaramouche had the look of annoyance at the sound that he loathed oh so much. "What do you want, pest?"
He does not need to look behind him to know that it was the young Harbinger, Tartaglia. The ginger chuckles, resting a hand on his hip. "Ouch, no need to be so venomous, old man." He does not even bother to feign hurt.
Scaramouche clicks his tongue, not once turning to see the ginger. "If you have nothing to say, leave. Can't you see I'm busy?" he spat. The taller male grins. "Oh? With what? Surely, stalking an innocent civilian isn't what you are busy about, is it?" Tartaglia has been watching for a while as well, but not at you-- Scaramouche, seeing as the sixth Harbinger started to act strange-- mainly towards you. He thought it was hilarious that a man such as the cruel sixth could easily coil under your words.
Scaramouche mentally curses at the male. "Piss off." He grits his teeth. This just made Tartaglia want to continue. However, a brilliant plan- much better than teasing Scaramouche- had crept its way in his head. Smirking evident in his tone, he bids goodbye to the short Harbinger.
"Good riddance," he mumbled to himself. His eyes had never once left your person as you move onto different stalls that had the needed items on your list.
Maybe he should go up and say a quick 'hello'? You two are friends after all. It wouldn't be awkward, right?
He bit the inside of his cheek, deciding against it. As much as he tops everybody, he cowers to interact with you and only pray that the Tsaritsa had something- anything- to give him a reason to interact with you. He thought it would seem awkward otherwise.
Sighing, he turns on his heels, planning on going to the training ground for new recruits and do something productive like watching new Fatui members bleed their guts out-- anything that would take his mind off of you.
-
He doesn't know when, but the next time he saw you made his blood boil. Actually, it wasn't you that made him that way-- it was at the sight of you talking to the eleventh Harbinger with all smiles and laughter.
Were you two always that close for you to allow Tartaglia to put a hand on your shoulders? It was evident that the Harbinger was up to something when he put it there. Scaramouche doesn't know what type of game Tartaglia was playing at, but he didn't like it in the slightest.
He wanted to walk up and wrap his arms around you protectively while he hiss and glare at the eleventh. But he had to hold back. After all, it would seem weird since you two weren't lovers. Oh how he wished that you would leave the ginger already.
-
If he was itching for a fight, Scaramouche would happily give it to him. It has been 2 weeks since and each day, Tartaglia always seemed free enough to hang around you. And you seemed undisturbed by it? How absurd! Had you not notice where that man puts his hands on you? That hand that the ginger holds is supposed to be his!
He scowls. He can't take this anymore. Scaramouche has finally figured out the game that the ginger started and tried not to fall for his petty trap to make him finally admit to you about his feelings. However, that didn't last long and he started to think that he should take this as a chance before that opportunity is no longer there; when Tartaglia has really fallen for you.
Taking a deep breath, he strides to you two with menacing glares thrown at the tall male. Tartaglia felt those eyes that he knew had been watching him since two weeks ago draw near, getting his attention, which soon caught yours.
"Oh? Why if it isn't gramps," Tartaglia greets, showing his signature smile that was usually a sign of trouble to come. Scaramouche stares long and hard at him before he turns to look at you.
"Scara, hello!" You smiled that smile he loves oh so much. His heart fluttered, almost forgetting the presence of a particular someone.
"Uh, so, gramps," Tartaglia starts, "(Y/N) and I are actually going out for lunch, so if you could speed it up.." Scaramouche shots another deadly glare at the male. It would have been scary to a normal person but since this is what Tartaglia wanted, he wasn't affected by it.
"You're not having lunch with them." With that, he grabs you by the wrist and drags you along with him. "H, huh? Wait, Scara, where are we going?" You look at the back of the short Harbinger before you turn to look over your shoulders at Tartaglia.
You thought he would stand there dumbfoundedly but instead, he waves at you with one hand as the other rested on his hips and balancing his weight on one leg. He gave a close-eyed smile, feeling proud that it had turned out the way he wanted. The eleventh wanted to follow to hear what cheesy thing Scaramouche would say, but he stops himself and decided to tease him later.
Now gone from sight after turning a block, Scaramouche pins you against a wall, both hands slammed beside your head. You yelped and hissed at the impact, closing your eyes instinctively.
"Hey, Scara, couldn't you just--" "I like you," he confesses, getting all words dying on your tongue. "Eh?" Silence followed after, and it seemed to you that there was a bird cawing not too far in the distance.
Did you hear that right? You look up and was met a flushed Harbinger who awaited for your response. "C, could you repeat that? I think water got into my ears when I took a bath this morning."
Scaramouche takes a deep breath and this time, said it loud and clear-- enough for you to comprehend. "I like you, (Y/N)," he said, the heat tingling his cheeks. Gosh, Tartaglia's spot would have definitely been given away by his laughter, if he was there.
"I like you too, Scara," you confess, a confused look on your face at the sudden confrontation. On Scaramouche's part, the light in his eyes twinkled like little stars dancing in the night sky. You liked him as well? A smile was threatening to break but before that could happen, he moves away and coughed onto his fist, clearing his throat soon after.
"W, well, I'm glad we have mutual feelings towards one another.." he said, face still slightly turned from you.
"But, Scara, can I ask what brought this up so suddenly?" you had finally ask. The Harbinger stare at you longingly and removes his fist from his mouth, scratching the back of his neck. "I was, uh, a bit jealous of.." He looks down, feeling embarrassed to say it. But you wanted an answer so he had no choice but to give it. "I was jealous of Tartaglia hanging around you."
Your heart fluttered. He looks adorable if you had to be honest. Who knew that he could be jealous by someone who was much younger than both you and him? You had long knew that the young Harbinger was up to something the moment he came up to you with the smile used when he was plotting something. You weren't that dense.
A laugh escaped your lips, getting the attention of the male. "H, hey, what's so funny?" His brows scrunched together in confusion.
You shake your head to dismiss the question and soon cup his face, bringing him close so that your foreheads were touching. Staring longingly into his indigo eyes, you spoke. "There is no need to be jealous because my heart belonged to you long ago."

Note: Hi! Sorry for the long wait. I had to rewrite this because I didn't like the first version.

Small was an understatement.. Tiny? Yeah, that’s more like it.
“[N-Name]..! Y, you’re–” Ace looks down at your extremely small form in both amazement and fear.
“Waah!? Henchman–!!” Grim exclaims right beside you. When the smoke from a brewing explosion has gone and passed, and all of the coughing fit has stopped, you, the Adeuce duo, and your furball of a dorm mate came to a tiny surprise.
You were the size of those pop figures you’d get from a vending machine and those things are so small that you could step on them if you let it be thrown on the ground somewhere.
“Prefect, you’re tiny!” Deuce finally said what the other two couldn’t utter out of shock. You were the last to open your eyes and when you did, the first thing you looked at was at yourself, on your bottom, and then up to your friends.
“Oh shoot! What should we do!?” Ace said in a panic state and practically pulling his hair out. “We can’t ask Professor Crewel for help or else he knows that we snuck inside his class and messed around with his potions!”
“This is your fault, Grim, so what is your plan now?” Ace points at your dorm mate accusingly. “EH!? My fault!?” Grim frowns. “You know it is! If you just didn’t have to go finding ways of making yourself great, we wouldn’t be in this mess!”
“Hey, hey! You’re the one who wanted to try mixing stuff! You’re no better than me!” The furball snaps back. “Guys, enough. If you guys continue to fight, someone is bound to hear us and come to check. We won't be able to return the prefect to normal,” Deuce intervenes, stopping their bickering. "Let's see if there's a book here with a reverse potion. He's bound to have one." Is what he said right after and the two nodded in agreement, though they didn't go far.
"Uh, it doesn't look like there's much books here.." Ace scratches his head and looks down at the only desk with books, which was the teacher's desk situated right at the front of the class. "And these don't look like they have what we need."
"Let's try looking at the library then," Deuce suggests. They were all about to head out but was stopped short of an all too familiar voice.
“What do we have here?” Crewel asked, peeking through the classroom door. "Professional Crewel!!" The three boys shrieked as a dooming dread filled their bodies.
Thinking quickly on his feet, Ace hid you from the professor's view, though it didn't go under Crewel's suspicious radar. "Hmm? What are you boys doing here?" He asks. "You boys had better not been bad puppies, have you?"
"N-no! We, we were just..!!" Grim was quick to answer but stopped abruptly, which only made Crewel's frown deepen.
"You were making potions, weren't you?" he said in a matter-of-fact tone. "No! We–" "Yes, we did," Deuce speaks up, interrupting Grim and stopping him from making the situation look worse for them. "We're sorry, Professor Crewel."
Crewel was very much still upset but admired the fact that they– well, Deuce, stepped forward to confess and apologized for their fault, even staring him right in the eyes as he said so. He sighs, relaxing his facial muscles. "Well, I suppose it can't be helped that first years would be curious.." He says, unsure if it was intended for them to hear or a slip of the tongue.
He looks at the three. "But you boys must wait. It is not yet your time," he said. "Yes! We understand now, sir!" They all said in unison, posture stiff as stones.
"Very good. It doesn't look like you have been harmed so that is well," he said. "I will let you off with a warning. Off you go now and be good little puppies."
Ace quick snatches you and makes sure that Crewel couldn't see you as they passed by him.
"Isn't this great?" Ace lets out a deep sigh the moment you all are far from the classroom. "Even if we do find a reverse potion, we can't go back in there," he said, tucking you in his breast pocket. "Any ideas of what we should do now?"
He looks over at his fellow Heartslabyul friend, but Deuce was clearly in his own world, eyes fixed on the ground as they walked and a curled finger to his lips. "Hey, are you listening?" Ace's eyes narrow at him but there was no word from him, confirming his words.
Just then, Deuce eyes widened as if a lightbulb turned on in his head. "Ah!!" "AHH!! W, what!?" Grim shrieks, spooked at the sudden scare. "What is it? You thought of something?" Ace asks, wide-eyed from Deuce's sudden spark.
"Isn't Diasomnia's dorm leader super strong? And aren't you close to him, [Name]? Maybe Malleus can help!" He smiles. "Oh, yeah! Nice thinking, Deuce! Let's go." Ace grins.
When they stepped foot on Diasomnia territory, the three's newfound motivation quickly crumpled away like a dried up rose petal. "H, hey.. Maybe we should ask someone from Pomefiore instead.. They're supposed to be really good at potions, right?" Ace suggests, lips quivering at the sight of Diasomnia's dormitory that loomed over them.
"Vil is out of school right now and who knows if Rook would give the Prefect some other options to try.." Deuce said. "This is our only option, and I doubt anything can go wrong with Malleus since he's skilled at magic."
"Oh? What do we have here?" A new voice stepped in from behind and the three turns around to see who the eerie voice came from.
There, upside down, crimson eyes looked at them from the dark, seeming to pierce their very soul. "AHHHH!!!" All of you screamed– Grim being the loudest.
"Fufufu, fret nought. It is just me," Lilia emerges from the darkness that surrounded the dorm, now right side up.
"Lilia!" Ace and Deuce says in unison. "Oh thank the seven.. But I can't take these scares anymore," Grim said, clutching his chest as he tries to calm his heart. "I think I might pass out."
"Hm? Why, [Name], what happened to you?" Lilia asks, noticing your tiny form in Ace's pocket.
"Something happened when we were making potions.." You confessed. "Oh? Aren't you still in your first year to be making potions?"
"Yeah. But Grim wanted to go mess around," Ace said. "Like I said, you're no better than me!" Grim furrowed his brows.
"Is that so? Fufufu. So now I'm assuming you're here to look for help?" You nod at Lilia's words. "If it's potions we're dealing with, Pomefiore would be your best option, though I suppose we can help you."
"We've already thought of that," Deuce said. Lilia looks at him as he says so and then looks back at you. "Hm.. I'm sure Malleus can do something about that.." Lilia half-said to you four and to himself.
"But if I could add a word beforehand, I'm sure the potion would wear out soon enough," Lilia states. "Potions that alter one's form don't often last. That is why you have to keep drinking them."
"Lilia, you speak as if you've tried it before," Deuce said. "Do I now?" Lilia chuckles. "Anyway, it can be dangerous to quickly alter forms once you've changed so I suggest you wait a bit before making another potion to change forms."
"Dangerous how?" Grim asks, an eyebrow raised and arms crossed. "Well, for one thing, altering your body plays around with your insides, making it so that they fit nicely with your current body. You're lucky that you didn't die since usually the first time would kill you."
"What!? Man, isn't that terrifying!?" Ace said. "Indeed it is. Though after a couple of times, your body will get used to it and or alter without problems."
"So, how long should we wait?" Ace asks. "Hm.. You have to wait for a while so that the potion finally settles and the body's system is well enough to digest another potion.. About a week should be enough." Lilia gives a close-eyed smile.
"A week!? But we still have classes!" Deuce said out loud, nearly shouting. "[Name] can still very much learn. I don't believe that the potion would slow the brain," Lilia said, wide-eyed from the sudden raise of voice.
"Ah.. But then Professor Crewel would find out if we were to show up with [Name] so tiny.." Deuce brows furrowed. "Oh, yes, I believe you told me that you all snuck inside the classroom to make potions."
"Don't say it like that. We were just curious," Ace said. "I'm sure Crewel would just give you a little lecture." "Eh, no thanks. Professor Crewel talks weirdly that it gives me goosebumps." The orange-haired Heartslabyul shrugs his shoulders, earning a laugh from Lilia.
"It can't be helped. You'll sooner have to face him. In the meantime, why don't you leave [Name] here with me?" Lilia proposes. "It would be much safer to be left at the hands of someone strong. And I'm sure Malleus wouldn't mind being that someone?"
The three of your friends look at each other before eventually agreeing with the idea. Ace carefully takes you out from his pocket and places you in Lilia's hands.
"O' how much cuter you are so tiny," Lilia smiles, his fangs showing. Your friends watched him poke your cheeks and such, not knowing what else to do now, before Deuce suddenly had thought of something. "Oh, right, Lilia, how come you were out here?" he asked. "I felt that someone has stepped foot in the area and came to check.. Turns out it was just you, fufufu."
"Now, you three run along now~" He directs to your friends, pausing briefly before opening his eyes to reveal his eyes seeming to glow a faint red. "Unless you want to be eaten by our members here, that is?"
"Ah, we, we'll get going now! See ya later, [Name]!" The three waves at you and steps back inside the the mirror that leads them back to the light, opposite of Diasomnia's dark setting.
"Now, why don't we go see Malleus, [Name]? I'm sure he can't wait for your nightly stroll together so I'm sure he'll be surprised to see you here!"
He takes light skips to the dorm, passing by fellow Diasomnia members and Silver who fell asleep on the couch and to Malleus' room.
"Malleus~ Look who has come to visit?" Lilia knocks on Malleus' door. There was a few seconds of silence before you could hear hurried footsteps drawing closer before stopping short to open the door. The door flung open and there stood Malleus, with an expectant, excited look.
His face turned to that of perplexed as he was instead staring at Lilia instead. "Fufufu, we have a tiny visitor who'll join us for a while." He raises his hands higher so that you were much closer to his face.
He pries his eyes away from his guardian and retainer to you who sat on his hands, looking up at the dragon-fae with a smile. "Hello, Malleus," you chuckled awkwardly.
"Child of man? What happened?" He asked what anyone would ask first the moment they see you. "Long story short, it's due to a potion."
"Hm, I see.." "Yep! Fufufu, how silly your friends are, [Name]," Lilia makes a quick comment before turning to Malleus. "Now, Malleus, I trust that you will take care of [Name], yes?" He nods. "Very good. I'm leaving the task to you then~"
He places you in Malleus' hands and turns around to skip down the hall. "Now, I have to wake up Silver so he can move to his room."
You two watched as Lilia disappeared from sight before Malleus brought the two of you inside his room. “Hm, how curious, child of man. How exactly had you found yourself taking a shrinkage potion?” he asks as soon as he sat you down on his desk. You told him the story right from the beginning and even what happened leading up to now. “I see. Yes, Lilia is indeed right with what he said, though I have never tried it before. I merely observed.”
He chuckles. “You are an abnormality in this world and a curious one at that. You are fascinating, child of man.” You couldn’t tell whether or not he meant that in a negative way or not, but you think the latter. Malleus would never mean anything in offense, especially to you. “I don’t believe that this will hinder our walk tonight as I will be holding you, so if you’d still like, would you join me for the walk? Ah, but if you are tired, I will allow you to sleep on my bed.”
You shook your head. “I would very much enjoy that walk after what just happened.” Your words brought a smile to Malleus. “I am glad.” He rests his face on his hands and stares at you in a fond manner.
“Do you think I look cute like this?” You ask cheekily after a while of silence. He was caught off guard but quickly gave a reply. “While I do admit that you are adorable, I very much like your original form. It is hard to hold your hands while you are like this as I do not wish to crush you.” He chuckles and you do the same. You grab his free hand and hug his index finger. “Well, I can do this,” you said.
“I suppose you can,” he says and gives a deep laugh, amused at how you could still be cheerful in your current state, though he doesn’t think that altering forms would change your attitude towards things. “Hm, I believe you said you'd be like that for a week, yes? Then, I’ll make sure to keep you safe until then, my precious treasure.”
