Akaza held your daughter’s hand as he walked with her down the path filled with wisteria, “it’s so pretty, daddy!” She exclaimed as she lead her blindfolded father down the trail. Akaza smiled at his daughter, delighted to see she was in good spirits.

“I see mommy! Let’s go daddy!” She yelled excitedly running toward you, you smiled turning around to face your daughter. “Hey sweetie!” You smiled lifting the girl.

You placed her back on the ground wrapping your arms around Akazas waist, “I’m sorry about the blindfold..” you whispered to him lacing hour hand with his.

“It’s okay babe, if it means I get to do what’s needed, I’ll do it.” He spoke confidently as he gave you a reassuring squeeze on the hand. He always knew how to ease your nerves somehow.

You walked for a short distance before arriving back to the place Kagaya resides, Kagaya sat up looking in your direction. “Did they come?” He asked his wife unsure of what he was feeling. “Yes dear.”

Kagaya smiled before facing your family; “it’s nice to finally meet you, Akaza. I assume you’ve been taking care of my daughter.” He spoke calmly with a gentle smile on his face.

Akaza chuckled, “I’ve been doing just fine, and I plan on continuing to do so.” Kagaya hummed pleased with his answer. “What is the child’s name?” He asked politely.

“Luna.” You spoke soothing your shy daughter that was behind your leg, slightly intimidated by the raven haired man that sat infront of her.

“It’s nice to meet you, Luna! I’m sure you’re just as beautiful as your parents.” He spoke with a smile, feeling the girls hesitation.

“It’s nice to meet you!” She spoke excitedly from behind your leg as she noticed all the children peaking their heads in the door. “Children; come meet your cousin.” Kagaya spoke as he allowed his children to run up to Luna and greet her, sure to give her the space she needed.

“Come closer y/n and Akaza, I need to speak to the two of you alone.” Kagaya spoke, you stepped closer as Akaza watched your daughter bonding with kids her age, it was a sight he didn’t think he’d ever see.

“The demon slayer corps will bring no harm to your or your family, I trust you dear, I’m deeply pleased with your decisions. You have a beautiful daughter from what I hear, take care of her, lover her, and bring her to see her cousins and grandparents more often.” Kagaya spoke with a genuine smile on his face; excited for the new beginnings.

As you walked home you leaned against Akaza tracing his tattoo on his arm, admiring him carrying your sleeping daughter. “Do you think this means anything for our future..?” Akaza whispered, obviously deeply conflicted.

“I think it’s a start.. we had to start somwhere baby..” you whispered trying to raise the man’s spirits. “We have a beautiful family.. I don’t want anything to happen to it..” he spoke with a small tremor in his voice.

“Nothing will happen to us or our daughter baby, I promise, I’ll protect all of us.” You spoke rubbing soft small circles in the man’s arm before getting on your tippy toes to kiss his cheek.

“Now stop worrying, your way too hot to be sad.” You joked trying to lighten the mood; you didn’t know it, but the man needed that and he truly appreciated you for it.

“I love you dear..”

I don’t want to decline it! I will make it; but I am busy! I don’t have as much time as I used to, so I write on my days off or when I’m free (which isn’t often). Being an adult sucks, but I’ll try my hardest to make this for you! You’ve been an avid supporter and it means the world to me!

“My love! You shouldn’t be walking this far!” Hotaru spoke from beside you, wailing his arms up and down in protest.

“A few miles won’t kill me Hotaru! I’m not that fragile.” You mumbled as you felt a tickle in your throat. You turned your head to the side as you felt yourself sneeze, you wiped your nose lightly as you sniffled.

“Bless you, dear” Hotaru spoke as he pulled you into his side softly. You giggled placing your hand on his chest, “we are close love, let me carry you.” He spoke as he began to lift you to carry you bridal style. You sighed in defeat as you relaxed in his arms, secretly happy that he was carrying you.

“Alright dear, I have to do something, do you think you’ll be able to walk down this path?” He asked placing you on the ground softly. “Of course, dear. Do what you need to do.” You spoke with a soft smile.

He suddenly pulled out a knife and began to charge toward the manor that the path led to, you gasped covering your mouth as you watched your husband chase around a young boy shouting rude remarks at him.

“Hotaru! Stop it now!” You yelled coughing instantly after, the man stopped instantly and rushed to your side as you bend over coughing. “I’m sorry that I made you yell, dear!” He spoke rubbing your back softly.

“Thank you Ma’am!” A boy with dark red eyes spoke enthusiastically bowing infront of you repeatedly. “There’s no need for that, please stop.” You spoke with a gentle smile, “it’s my job to control my husband!”

“That’s your wife!” A boy with soft brown eyes spoke from the background seemingly mad. “Why do you seem shocked?” You spoke with a raised eyebrow.

“Well.. it’s just that he’s so aggressive.. he’s tried to kill me on many occasions…” The well mannered boy spoke to you, he didn’t have anything negative about him, it was truly astonishing.

“I wish I would’ve known that.. I would’ve put a stop to that behavior a long time ago… I forget how hotheaded my husband can be, he’s never like that with me.” You spoke reflecting on how your husband treats everyone but you.

A boy with a boar head came running around the corner, he fell straight on his face with a thump after loosing his footing. You rushed over to him, helping the boy up, sure to adjust the boar head that sat on his face.

The boy started to throw his arms up and down in protest saying he didn’t need your help, the boys watched as you just giggled as you patted the boys head.

Hotaru watched with a big smile behind his mask, it made him so happy that you were so gentle in nature, you refused to change for anyone.

And you were all his.

Tanjiro-

He would shower you in compliments

He would give you a lot of affection

Tanjiro and you have been in a relationship for serval years now, you’ve been with him through his journey of becoming a demon slayer. You were already a demon slayer when he was brought to the corps due to him fighting with Nezuko, you work with shinobu and the other girls that are medics. Though Tanjiro gives you a lot of compliments, you never quite understand what he sees. Your self esteem is quite low, and you bash yourself often, you just do it in your head.

Today was different for some reason. Tanjiro was home with you, which was always good, but you were emotionally feeling terrible. Tanjiro was currently with Inosuke and Zenitsu while you were in the bathroomroom you shared with the boy looking in the mirror at your nude body. [this won’t be sexual]

“Why won’t I ever be good enough..” you sighed before looking away from the mirror. You stepped into the shower and began to wash your body, silently feeling tears stream down your face.

You hear someone step in behind you before you feel Tanjiro’s arms wrap around your waist, pulling you closer. “What’s wrong babe?” He whispered in your ear as he began to lightly press kisses on your jawline and neck, “I just don’t feel like I’m good enough..” you whispered as you sniffed looking down. Tanjiro stops giving you kisses suddenly, he uses two fingers, lifts your head, and looks you in your eyes. “Why would you say such things about yourself love…” he whispered with a frown on his face. You felt tears run down your face as you bit your lip, trying to prevent yourself from crying. “I just don’t feel like I’m good enough for you or to be here sometimes.” You spoke with your voice cracking toward the end.

“My love.. you mean so much to me… without you I’d be lost.. you are more than enough for me. Nobody else treats patients the way you do, the butterfly mansion wouldn’t function the same without you, you are more than enough for everyone here.” He spoke with a smile before giving you a long affectionate kiss. You kiss back with tears streaming down your face, “I’m sorry for saying it babe… I should’ve known..” you spoke before snuggling into his chest, Tanjiro always knows what to say and when to say it, you love him so much for it.

Inosuke-

He isn’t fully sure what you mean at first

He ASSURES you, you are infact worth it.

Inosuke and you have known each other since the final selection, for some odd reason he helped you, and ever since then you’ve had an attraction to him. The two of you got together shortly after the train mission, he had feeling for you, he just didn’t know how to express it. Ever since you have been teaching him how to love, how to be loved, and so much more.

Inosuke was currently confused about what he had heard you say to yourself earlier in the day, he heard you say you’re not good enough for anything or anyone, and he didn’t quite understand what you meant. His natural instinct was to go to Tanjiro and ask him for help, “Kentaro! I need help!” Inosuke yelled as he approached the boy, Tanjiro smiled as he turned to look at him, “ Hey Inosuke! What’s wrong?” Tanjiro beamed looking at the boy. “(Y/n) has been down all day, earlier she said that she wasn’t good enough for anyone or anything, what does that mean!?” He yelled again, getting more confused saying it aloud. “Oh no Inosuke! You should go check on her and assure her she is! She’s feeling like she doesn’t deserve you or anyone else… does that help?” Tanjiro frowned at the thought of his friend feeling the way she does, Inosuke stood up straight before running in the opposite way.

“(Y/n)! Babe! Where are you!?” Inosuke yelled as he ran around your shared apartment. “I’m in here!” You spoke from the room as you laid on the bed you shared with him. He walked into the room and stood infront of you, “what’s up babe?” You asked looking up at your boyfriend who stood over you. “Why would you say you’re not good enough for me!” He spoke taking off his boar hat, looking down at you.

You signed looking to the side, “I didn’t know you heard me..” you whispered. He grabbed both your wrist gently pulling you up, he tilts you head up to meet your gaze. “Please don’t say that about yourself baby… if anything I feel like that… I’m the one who came from the mountains” he spoke with a small chuckle, trying to lighten the situation. You felt your lips tremble before you respond, “I’m sorry babe.” You whispered feeling a tear fall down your face, he whipped the tear with his thumb before connecting your lips. “Don’t cry beautiful, you are more than worth it in my book baby, you’re alway going to be good enough.” He spoke feeling you snuggle into his toned chest. “You’re so perfect.”

Zenitsu-

He would reassure you right away

He would be genuinely shocked

Zenitsu is known to obsess over girls, yet he took it slow with you. He wanted to get to know you, and he wanted you to get to know him for him. The two of you got together under a couple of cherry blossoms trees, it was quite romantic, it’s kinda what zenitsu wanted.

You have been down in the dumps here recently, and Zenitsu can smell it. Though you have been telling him you are okay, he knows you aren’t. “I’m so ugly.. I’m not good enough for him.” You muttered looking at yourself in the mirror before turning to meet your surprised boyfriend, “what’s wrong babe?” You asked wondering why he looked so shocked. “How could you!” He nearly yelled as he dropped to his knees infront of you crying, “you’re so beautiful! You’re more than worth it! How could you say such things about yourself!” He yelled before jumping up to his feet, he then placed many kisses all over your face, finally kissing you on your lips.

“Please don’t ever say such things.. you’re so fucking beautiful… I wouldn’t want any better because you’re the best girl I know..” he whispered wrapping his arms around your waist. “What’s me without you? You changed me so much… I don’t know what I’d do without you.” He spoke feeling you kiss his chest hugging him.
