Olympus OM-D E-M1 is a new Master of Elements

Olympus has introduced a new Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera OM-D E-M1. The body of this model is made of magnesium alloy which is not afraid of dust, moisture and low temperatures (down to -10 º), and E-M1 box will allow take underwater shots at depths of up to 45 meters.

In the Olympus OM-D E-M1 used advanced 4/3-inch sensor Live MOS 16,3 MP, powerful image processor TruePic VII, as well as a completely new faster autofocus DUAL FAST AF (contrast / phase). The camera is equipped with an improved electronic viewfinder in sight which is greater than 1.3 times compared to a conventional SLR camera and the rotary touch screen with a diagonal of 3 inches (1037000 pixels). New camera has dimensions of 130x93x63 mm and curb weight 490g.

HTC Desire Eye will make your Selfies professionally

HTC Desire Eye will go on sale in October. Large markets, as USA and Europe can only whisper that Eye should be cheaper than One M8, which is priced at $800. HTC hasn't given us an official pricing yet, but it will be revealed soon enough.

Olympus Stylus 1

Earlier, Olympus introduced a new generation of mirrorless camera OM-D E-M1, and now the Japanese manufacturer has another main digital compact camera - Stylus 1, also known as the OM-D Mini. Olympus Stylus 1 is fully retained the design of older model, but the word Mini clearly indicates that the new product is much less.

Olympus Stylus 1 is equipped with BSI 1/1,7” CMOS matrix with an effective resolution of 12MP and a measure of the sensitivity of ISO 100-12800. High speed operation provides the graphics processor TruePic VI which allows to saveing a series of 7 shots in just one second. The manufacturer also declared support of recording Full HD-movies (1080p, 30p) with stereo sound in RAW-format and slow-motion recording function at the frequency of 120 or 240 fps. Circle around the lens works in one of two modes: analog and digital exposure adjustment for easier manual focusing and zoom ratio control.

Olympus Stylus 1 got a new 3 "swivel touchscreen display (1.04 million pixels) with the ability to focus in a single touch and the electronic viewfinder (1.44 million pixels with 100% frame coverage and 1.15-fold increase). Application Olympus Image Share 2.1 uses a screen of smartphones and tablets as a remote viewfinder. Olympus also took care of the optical image stabilization system and the Neutral Density filter. Camera has built-in flash, the port micro-HDMI, a memory card slot SD / SDHC / SDXC and wireless adapter Wi-Fi. In addition, the camera is equipped with c GPS-module to add to pictures the information of location.

Olympus PEN E-PL7 comes in leather retro style with professional lens inside

A new photo leaked has given us a try to look at the new coming camera from Olympus glimpsing an old-fashion design with leather tightly covered on the outside and inner parts professionally packed inside.

The photo of the camera and the user manual leaked in May match together and make us believe that a new PEN E-PL7 will be a follower of E-PL6 and EP-5 taking the best and more new in itself.

Based on rumors, when the manual leaked, the E-PL7 is expected to come with a 16.05 megapixel sensor. The metered range is 0 to 20, and the ISO range of 200 to 25,600. Shutter speed varies from 1/4,000 to 60 seconds. It also has a 3-inch 1.04M-dot touch-screen TFT display, high-speed AF together with 81 focus points, and supports MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 video codecs.

The camera is supposed to record MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format and motion JPEG with stereo audio.Storage should support Eye-Fi, SDXC, SD, and SDHC. A release date slated for a late September. The price is still unknown, but the photo leak makes us hope to see it soon on the store shelves.

Alienware’s Area 51 is a truly aliens made tripod-tower with the same power inside

The mentioned polyhedral “tower” is revealed under the code name Triad, and the shape is really hardly explainable, so the picture speaks for the machine itself.

Area 51 comes with a graphics cards: AMD Radeon R9 270 with 2GB, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 with 4GB, Dual NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 with 2x3GB and Triple NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 with 12GB total of GDDR5. You can also choose between 2TB of HDD, 128GB of SSD+2TB of HDD and 256GB of SSD+4TB of HDD.

The whole “box” will weigh only 45 pounds and is available in US now. You probably will have to submit tax returns to get it, because the price range looks like this: $1699, $2499 then $3599 and finally $4549. But what do you want from Dell gaming giant?

Samsung has prepared a trio of Galaxy tablets

Samsung are expected to announce a several of new devices at the Mobile World Congress. So we can expect not only Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 and the Galaxy S5, and now it looks like Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 will be shown too.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 will be announced in three categories: a 7-inch display, an 8-inch display and with a 10-inch display. Other technical specifications of the Galaxy Tab 4 include a discreet quad core processor with a clock frequency 1.2GHz and 2GB of RAM. The tablet has 16GB/32GB/64GB of internal memory, plus a microSD card slot. It also got a 6800 mAh battery and OS Android 4.4 KitKat for all specifications.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 and 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab 4 will be announced later this month. As yet there are no details about resolution of the displays, as well as about the price.

Nokia 225 is cheap and cheerful

Toshiba's first 4K touchscreen laptop arrives

Toshiba has just announced its first 4K laptop. In the U.S. this laptop with a touchscreen, OS Windows 8.1 and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5 on board will be called Satellite P55T.

Toshiba P55T has a 15,6-inch IPS display supporting a resolution of 3840x2160 pixels (~282 ppi). All those pixels generates a quad-core processor Intel i7 and discrete graphics AMD Radeon R9 M265X 2GB DDR5. Another hook of specifications is 16GB DDR3L memory, a Blu-ray drive and 1TB mechanical hard drive 5400 RPM. Also aware of the module Wi-Fi 802.11, four USB 3.0, HDMI port and a keyboard with LED backlight. The laptop body is made of aluminum. Weight starting from 5.3 lbs. (2.5kg).

Toshiba Satellite P55T is available now with a price tag $1500, that seems ready to compete with other 4K touchscreen laptops.

Long-lived Qualcomm SmartWatch

The company Qualcomm, better known as a manufacturer of mobile processors has launched own SmartWatch. This new product isn't completely autonomous device such as Google Glass or Samsung Galaxy Gear2 because all of the tasks performs the smartphone via Bluetooth, displaying on the screen only the most important information, including (Surprise Surprise!) time.

The highlight of Qualcomm SmartWatch is a private feature SDK and especial screen - Mirasol, whose diagonal - 1.5 inches, resolution - 176x220 pixels (224 ppi). Mirasol technology is similar to E-Ink in their properties. It allows you to see images even in bright sunlight, because the screen has nice colors like IPS. Among the other advantages of the technology Mirasol - constant work and screen with minimal power consumption, so that the clock must live without recharging for 5 days or even a week. So the Toq SmartWatch pointless play off with Samsung GALAXY Gear that die after 24-25 hours.

Largely low power consumption is achieved through Cortex M3 processor with a frequency of 200 MHz to provide own operating system. Another elegant solution is a built-in inductive charging WiPower allowing to charge the device without connecting any cables (Qi standard). In the set will be shipped watch, the headset and the arena which serves as a wireless charging - it's convenient.

Qualcomm Toq SmartWatch provides full compatibility with all Android smartphones since version 4.0.3 and higher. At the moment there is no compatibility with iOS-devices, but will soon appear a mobile client for that platform. Expect some incredible functionality isn't worth it. Reading e-mails, messages, receive incoming calls and hang up, control your music player, view news and weather, stocks, counting steps or calories, various notifications and reminders.

Qualcomm hasn't yet special hopes of Toq, so the device will be released in limited quantities and only in the United States. The new gadget is available exclusively on the official website of the company for $350.
