Photographer Sarah Schönfeld took liquid versions of drugs, both legal and illegal, and covered exposed negative film. Each drug interacted with the film differently, and the chemical reaction continued for variable amounts of time. She repeated the process for dozens of drugs and enlarged the negatives after the reactions were complete.

No puedo recordar.

“No puedo recordar el momento, el lugar, el beso, o la mirada, no puedo recordar un momento exacto en el que me fui enamorando de él, creo que pudo ser ya hace tiempo, o quizá pudo ser ayer… o en su caso hoy. Perdón por no tenerlo claro, pero es un sentimiento tan nuevo para mí, que se me sale completamente de las manos. Puedo llegar a la pequeña conclusión de que pude estar enamorada antes de darme cuenta de que lo estaba, es algo muy confuso, como si de repente una noche casi madrugada sentí que me enamoraba de él, como cuando sientes que te vas quedando dormido, paso a paso, muy lentamente y de repente de golpe, donde medio dormida me daba cuenta de la infinidad de cosas que sentía por él, que la palabra te quiero se quedaba pequeña… hoy sin miedos puedo disfrutar de este sentimiento, me lance al lóbrego abismo del amor, con miedo de perderme pero lo más increíble es que termine encontrándome, y aún sigo descubriendo en mi día a día sensaciones que nunca imagine poder sentir…”
