Will you ever drawing Dimentio without a mask? I would like to see some drawing with your own design or see what you think it looks like.

If we exclude the option of his mask being his face or there just being void behind it, I'd see him as a wrinkled ancient with skin disease. (which is a pretty common depiction but I just really like it)

I imagine he's older than Merlee but younger than Merlon.

Oh my god, holy wait-— I adore how this follows a similar vain of my own hc for him, the only thing to differ is for Dimentio's personality to gradually be lost as he no longer bears the mask of his character; He becomes an enigmatic mess that contradicts and questions his own existence as the absence of his face is also the absence of his memories and identity. I FORGOT TO MENTION!!! In my hc, Dimentio often changes alias to suit the current mask he holds, I had a lot of fun doing stuff like this and giving him new outfits! So far got Equinox and Delirio

Something i noticed is that we really barely know anything about Dimentio as a person, he doesn't share any information about his life, his hobies etc... His name sounds too on the nose to not be an alias of some sort (name he only used with the Bleck gang, disliked his name so he changed it, was named after his powers like the ancients... could be anything really) so we maybe don't know his real name.

We can't even tell the possible shape of his body, his face is hidden behind his mask, any possible hair and/or ears is under his hat, he wears gloves, his shoes have a unique shape, his pants are poofy and his big "poncho" covers his entire top. It also wouldn't surprise me if the voice he uses is more showman like than his real voice.

Now for my headcanon, i'm putting it under the cut because it gets long

i love to imagine that the anonymity is what helps make Dimentio feel so confident, and the second you strip it away from him his demeanor does a complete 180.

Instead of being loud and wearing bright garish clothes (with possible bells) and almost always trying to be the center of attention, he's quiet, eerily so.

He stands in the corners of rooms with a clear view of the exit, slightly curled in on himself, wearing the most basic, dull and baggy clothes. He wears his hair on his face and always tilts his head slightly down to try to hide his face even more. He doesn't float and barely speak, and when he does it's almost a whisper.

He's the kind of person that can walk without making any noise, and can be in a room with someone without them even realising it, or if they know they forget he's even here, and startles the crap out of them if he makes his presence known. He's just constantly trying to not bring any attention to himself because he feels so vulnerable and he hates it, he hates it so much.

He tries to avoid any possible interaction and is always tense and wildly looking around through his bangs like a cornered animal. He can barely survive without his mask, and seeing him like that would be wildly jarring for anyone who knows him as the annoying egoistical jester.

I just think it would be really fun that under all that bravado, is a mess of person in constant fight-or-flight mode who isn't as confident as he makes himself out to be.

Castle Bleck 3, Dimentio.

I'm very happy with how this one turned out. I wanted to try giving it a Manga look, which I think turned out really well. Especially with the singular pop of yellow for his eye.  This piece is based off the section before the actual fight with Dimentio, where you have to navigate a hall of mirrors and Dimentio duplicates. So I went with a broken mirror effect. 

Getting close to finished with these! Just 3 more to do after this one.
