Just for fun I made and animated a crude BB8 sprite gif to show my thanks to Lucasfilms for a lifetime of Star Wars!!!
Thank you.

(it took about 10 minutes to make)
First doodle of the new year. I have been preoccupied with 3D work.(I will eventually upload….) I needed a small break from it, I miss doodling. spent less than 10 minutes on it.
Inspired by Robert DeJesues work on his blog, with his toon doodles based on photos, seemed a fun method to brush up my neglected 2D skills…. Thanks man!
(Doodle is mine) model image found via pinterest. You can send me a link to your picture here and I might doodle it. (Note: offensive pictures will be ignored.)
Doodled on Autodesk Sketchbook Pro Tablet Edition (get the current version via the link- I used the abandoned Android version)

AKA (Christina Backlund-Newton- January, 2017) made in zBrush... Would anyone want to have an OBJ or STL to 3D print this turtle?
work in progress. the tentacles (arms) are not done or nearly long enough. I will sculpt on it more in the morning.
Title: Water Elemental
Course: Applied Computer Graphics (APCG 110) Introduction to Digital Art
Institution: California State University: Chico, Spring 2013
Assignment: study of light and color, using template of a candle (or other light source) sitting by a bowl, there also had to be three objects in the image, and be a complete composition.
Note: I added the moon as a second light source to better explain the illumination of the water. Also showing the different effects of warm light (flame) vs cool light (moonlight). 100% original art.
Grade: 98%
Awards: California State University: Chico: Excellence in Computer Graphics Award: Digital Arts: Second Place

Working on 3D fractals again (made in Incendia), I would like to make this a necklace over at Shapeways. But I have to figure out how to prepare models for 3D printing. If anyone has any tips on preparing models for 3D printing let me know.
