Hi, I wanted to ask since you seem to know what you're doing. I'm not confident in my pendulum skills as I feel like it only tells me what I want to hear and I don't have tarot cards. I was wondering if you knew I'd there was a more definitive, trustworthy way of asking yes or no questions?
I want to communicate with my guides and ask them things but I really don't have a reliable way of asking, any help would be appreciated.
hii!!! i usually cleanse my pendulum with incense before using it to clear it from any negative energies, and before asking it questions i call upon my spirit guides and higher self with the intention "i call upon my spiritual team and higher self only, for the highest good of all, please come through and help me find the truth" and then i keep my pendulum steady with my dominant hand, and holding it a few centimeters away from my other palm, i start asking questions i already know like "are my eyes black? is my hair blue? am i wearing red?" just to calibrate it and see if it gives me the right answers, then I start asking the real questions and voilĂ , the job is done đď¸
Hey! How can we find out a deity's preferred way of communication?
Hey sunshine! âď¸
That's a great question and one that I don't think I can give a definite answer on. Honestly my first instinct was to say "just ask" but I don't think that's helpful.
I think trial and error is the best way to figure that out. I went through a similar thing when I started working with angels actually. It took me a while of feeling things out before I concluded that Gabriel preferred tarot reading above any other form of communication, and that only came from trying other ways and seeing that they don't work for either me or him. I asked him once why he doesn't just speak to me (clairaudience) and he simply replied that he doesn't like it, it's uncomfortable. On the other hand, when Azazel came around, I had wanted to get a new pendulum to communicate with him and he simply said, "No need" and he's very eager to speak to me through clairaudience.
Some entities and deities will be straight up about it and simply start communicating with you through their chosen method, but sometimes you have to figure it out and that comes from trial and error in my opinion. Play around with things and see what works best, no one's expecting it to be perfect right away. Also, the way individual entities choose to communicate with certain people often varies so don't think that because your experience with a deity is different than someone else's it's wrong, and don't feel pressured to do what others do if it doesn't work for you. Your relationships with your deities are unique, and that's why sometimes it takes a bit to find your feet.
Thanks so much for asking sunshine! Ask about this on other blogs if you'd like, others will probably have better advice on this subject than I will. Also please feel free to DM me if I've misunderstood the question in any way.
Khaire! âď¸
Today weâll be talking about Faeries! Also known as Fairies, The Fae, The Fair Folk, The Honest Folk, The Little Folk, and many more.Â
- What are faeries?: The answer to this differs between personal belief and cultures. What we do know is they are powerful, tricky, spirits found in nature. I personally like to think of them as nature spirits, having a specific connection to a place, like a river. Or a certain tree, plant, flower, element, ect. Each existing to protect or represent that thing, and be called on in its name. I also think faeries are specific extensions of the energies and correspondences surrounding the elements. Where do I find them?: As stated above, in nature! There are many different faeries, with different stories, associations, and things to offer. If there is nature, there are faeries. Why should I work with them?: Letâs get this straight for those who are new, you do NOT have to work with or even believe in them to be a witch. That being said, Faeries can help as reconnect with nature, they can keep the nature that surrounds us safe too. For example helping and protecting a garden, they can help us in the way spells can too. They can help with luck, love, growth, happiness, just about anything youâd use a spell for. But donât be fooled, faeries can also be tricksters. The majority of them are mischievous by nature. So beware, and stay safe. Iâll get into how to do that in a bit. How do I work with them?: Fae are similar to other spirits or Deities in that they have specialties, they can offer you help and advice. If you just want to keep on good terms with them or open up general communication and see where it goes you should go out into nature and leave an offering. Preferably near your house. If you want something specific, however, you should look into different kinds of Fae that are associated with that thing. To contact a specific fae, you could go somewhere that fae is associated with and leave an offering or do divination. You could meditate on the situation with them in mind. Summon them into a dream. Itâs up to you and your practice. Ways to honor them/offerings: ⢠Meditate and focus on them ⢠if you grown fruits and veggies, leave the last of it on the plant for them. ⢠Leave a bit of choice food like milk, bread, or wine out on the earth for them. They also like shiny things like jewelry, the finer things. ⢠Make an altar to them, especially to specific Fae. ⢠Leave a space near the fire for them. Is there anything I shouldnât do or be warned of?: Yes! The Fae are mysterious creatures who can be easily offended. Hereâs a list of doâs and donâts when working with or communicating with The Fae. DONâT be rude! Do not say anything disrespectful to the Fae, they consider themselves better than us and are more powerful and tricky than us. Often, much much older too. This also includes not snooping in a Faeries things or realm, not speaking of gifts or blessings they bring you, and not carrying iron with you or near them (it hurts them and WILL be seen as insulting or an attack.) And absolutely do not lie! Always keep promises. This goes with the last tip, donât lie to them and if you donât keep a promise or deal the debt WILL be repaid either by your own hand, or perhaps less favorably by theirs. Do not accept a gift, say sorry, or thank you. Once more on the topics of debts, doing any of these things implies you have a debt to them and you donât want to find yourself in that situation. Do not give them your name. This gives them power over you. Instead say âYou may call me ___.â Perhaps give them a nickname of yours. Do not mention a child, especially an infant! The Fae love children but they may switch the child with a changeling or cause misfortune for the child if you anger them, do not risk it! Do not dance with them or accept food or drink. In folklore and stories this ends with dancing till death, or being forever tied to the Faeâs realm. Mind your words. The Fae are masters of trickery, theyâre mischievous by nature. The Fae tend to take things literally, like genies in movies. You might not break any of these rules, yet theyâll still mess up what you ask for or wish for. Choose your wording VERY carefully, especially when asking for help. How can I learn more?: I would highly recommend The Fairy Bible by Teresa Moorey. She goes over just about anything and everything youâd want to know relating to Faeries. She also goes over many types of Faeries, including elemental faeries, weather faeries, tree faeries, flower faeries, and household faeries. If you have anymore questions about the Fae feel free to message me! I adore this topic. I hope this helped your or you learned something! Enjoy! Have a lovely day đ
After you get better, can you answer how can we contact our soulmate? đ¤
mm iâm feeling quite bored/lonely so iâll do it now if you donât mind..
so i have no idea how to do that. my methods are confusing and like.. thereâs no gurantee of anything whatsoever xd i donât think about it often tbh.. my mind was very preoccupied with âworkâ lately. but you see, i heard that astral travel (which i donât recommend too much) or lucid dreaming (which is a better option) can help! but from what i know lucid dreaming takes practice, like learning how to remember dreams (every night), during sleep time making an alarm often (like every hour or something?) so that you can dream while being concious in the dream (it wonât affect your body, because itâs just a dream and you will wake up) so in lucid dreams you can do whatever you want! so you could say âi wanna meet my soulmate and talk with themâ and do that! i hope this helped somehow!
what is a soul and why should I care?
I wrote this years ago and kept it to myself for a long time, but now seems like a good time to share.
i might do a more in-depth analysis of some of these deitiesâ lores later but for now hereâs a short lil list. these are all deities iâve either worked with or would like to work with in the future, so if you notice iâm omitting some thatâs probably why (or i just forgot lol).
1. Bia - goddess of force and power
2. Morpheus - god of dreamsÂ
3. Nyx - goddess of the night and darkness
4. Aether - god of the upper sky
5. Phoebe - goddess of radiance and brightness
6. Hypnos - god of sleep
7. Psyche - goddess of the soul
8. Tyche - goddess of fortune (more famous by her Roman name, Fortuna)
9. Anagke - goddess of destiny
10. Echidna - goddess of monsters
11. Kronos - god of time and (sometimes) chaos (not necessarily lesser-known, i just donât know anyone whoâs worked with him)
12. Peitho - goddess of seduction and persuasion
13. Dike - goddess of justice
14. Sphrosyne - goddess of self-controlÂ
15. Terpsichore - goddess of singing and dancing

(smudging is a term from Native American that is not an open practice, smoke cleansing is called Smoke Cleansing, smudging is closed as well as white sage and san palo, important Native American herbs)
I would definitely look into what are closed practices, as to avoid any cultural appropriation as many things like âhoney jarsâ or hoodoo powders are actually from closed or semi closed practices. It is important to know where these come from and itâs cultures as to avoid closed practices appropriation and to use some things like Nazar or chakras to know the significance and actual history and if you can work with them or not. Especially with spells or Deities or anything new.
