Day 6, Prompt: Return

Hilda's excited that Holst's finally back from the war with Almyra.

I've been watching this gal on Youtube who does some truly amazing art, and I wanted to try out some of the sorts of stuff that she does; so here you go!

I decided to try testing things out using Linhardt from Fire Emblem as my model. This stage is only colored with markers.

This one is water color layered over the marker.

This one is colored pencil and a bit more marker for the touch-ups.

Aaaaand this is the final version once the colors have been edited in Preview. While there are some flaws, I'm overall happy with the outcome! Let me know what you think! :)

I've been having a lot of fun playing around with markers! I decided to try drawing the part at the end of Lockwood & Co. book one. I've never really tried such intense shading before but I think it turned out pretty cool! :)

Hilda and Dorothea are having a fun girl's spa day!!

I usually enhance my pictures a bit on my computer after scanning them, but this one was giving me grief because Hilda's bathrobe was such a light shade of pink. So I went overboard and gave it a big colour boost. I think it looks kinda fun with super popping colours, and I hope you think so too!! :)
