-go through the chamber I can't remember the name of with all the stalactite constructs

-Eat a really weird herb that smells like the middle F note of a guitar but doesn't taste like anything

-Translate the ancient texts to discover your long sought after recipe

-find out this is instructions for teaching shrimp to fry rice

-repeat from step one in a different mountain

Definitely need more telekinetic animals in media, it's dumb as hell to suggest that statistically out of every life form extant on earth that humans are gonna be the only ones to get bullshit magic powers. I'm not saying you have to make them invincible or nothing I'm just saying sometimes you should have a random ape or frog develop latent psychic abilities and consider what they would do with those powers. A frog would subconsciously stop bugs as they pass in front of its awareness and use that to eat them easier. Maybe if it gets passed up for mating it flips its opponent over repeatedly. You get what I'm saying

Also if she gave up her mortality to get back to tri... wow. Hope it worked. But then if tri is link (after all link lost his voice to a rift, and then when he falls in a rift again tri is there immediately after. And after tri leaves link gets his voice back), then she did all that only for him to have been there the whole time without either knowing

probably already done, but here's my take:

Echoes of Wisdom takes place at the beginning.

Before the cycle, before Skyward Sword, before Hylia even came around.

I HAVE EVIDENCE (maybe)

First, the creation story, as told by ome of the goddesses. They made the world, Null isnt happy about that. No other creation story (ahem, looking at you Great Deku Tree) talks about Null or any voidlike entity. Furthermore, if my memory is right, Hylia isnt even mentioned in Echoes of Wisdom.

Which means that the whole part of the golden goddesses asking Hylia to watch over the triforce hasnt happened. Why? Because they've had no need to do so until now. Nobody even knew where it was. The Prime Energy was not for mortals to hold. Civilization hasnt gotten to the point of power-hungry people yet.

So, Hylia isnt around. There is no "blood of the goddess" yet. That's why the prophecy calls for a priestess. Someone who can communicate with the goddesses. Done.

Link is just...Link. Just some kid. No reincarnated spirit, he's just a guy who wants to make his world better.
