I go nuts when people suggest that Steve Rogers wouldn’t know how to use a tablet or a computer. People show him slamming his face into a smartphone as though he doesn’t have fingers or some shit. Like. The man is fucking brilliant. He’s a strategist, knows a million languages, worked to break into Hydra bases with his wits not just slamming a shield into things, and y’all think he’d pick up a tablet and be like “HOW DOES THIS WORK YOUNG ONES?!”
no.
Steve Rogers would be left alone with the tablet for a bit. He’d spend some time poking, scrolling, slowly getting the hang of how it works. He’d need a minute to figure out what buttons do and such. And then he’d realize how to bring up the keyboard, how sensitive it is and how careful he has to be. He’d learn how to download apps, where they are, how to open them. He’d learn WHAT apps do what, how to sort them, etc.
Soon, I guarantee you, Steve would have a fully customized tablet with his apps in order of use and a program he found on how to store and lock complicated password keychains.
Steve *chooses* to use that notepad he has and write since he likes doing art, but I’m telling you, Steve probably uses tech better than people give him credit for and I’m not here to shame Steve Rogers for that.

Right in the goddamn feel.
Someone please help me find this post, I really need it on my dash permanently
@nikescaret that idea was originally caused by this. Loki will forever be the source of my angst
I sincerly hope that our generation of parents love their children more openly.
We don’t need another generation of kids with depression and anxiety and self-esteem issues.
We don’t need another generation of kids that are too afraid to talk to their parents.
We don’t need another generation of kids struggling through careers that they hate because their dreams don’t match their parents’.
We know how badly we need to be told and shown that we’re loved. We know how much we want to be told that we are good enough. We know how it feels to have absolutely no refuge in this harsh world.
May our homes be safe havens for our kids, always.
Hakoda would totally fucking adopt Zuko upon sight of him.
Seeing the scar. (Remembering that time that he had to take Sokka's boomerang away from him - he had made it stick into the ice deep enough that he hurt himself trying to pull it out - and even that broke his heart)
Watching him go without a blanket because Toph is cold. (He says he's had worse. Hakota doesn't doubt it really, but honestly the boy is what...eighteen?)
Seeing him smile, as if he really doesn't know how to. (Hakota tells all the jokes that drove Kya insane. Zuko it turns out, has just the right sense of humor.)
