I swear, Kirby is becoming like the biggest Bible parody to ever exist in all of fictional media, and i’m all in for this kind of ride
people loved this on twitter so I’m porting it over here. the first picture is the lrt.
aesthetic for monaca who had kokichi as an older brother figure for anon! - @pomegranates-from-ginnungagap
All of those were very cool, but then V3’s theme is just, “So, nothing matters in the end? Welp, everyone, let’s go and kill ourselves!”
Okay but I feel like the overall themes of Danganronpa 1 and 2 with the “persevering through life even through bleak circumstances” and “having hope despite tragic surroundings” and “life is full of hope and despair” and “choosing your own future despite what is blatantly shown to you” and “changing to be a better person despite what you’ve done in the past” and “breaking the mold of what others want and expect you to be” and “choosing to live free at the expense of security” are actually super fucking cool and salient messages that are overlooked as hell because of all the other weird shit that happens in those games

This is one great analysis you made, which it really makes me wonder, why didn’t Danganronpa 3 continue handling around with the Anti School System Message, because then that would tie in perfectly with to explain how Junko was able to easily break almost everyone from Class 77-B, into becoming one with Despair, otherwise, it really made no sense why they dunked on Junko’s capabilities, and made her rely on Brainwashing, while proving Makoto right to begin with.
But if ever Danganronpa 3, or even Danganronpa V3, ever gets a Rebooted Rewrite, then i’m holding up to the HeadCanon that Makoto actually changes how Hope’s Peak works, which is by allowing anyone into the Academy, whatever if they’re Talented, or if they’re Reserve Course Students, but otherwise, it would really make no sense if Makoto really learned nothing after he sorta survived against three Killing Games in one lifetime.
i started reading danganronpa zero i have thoughts
first thought is that matsuda is so tsundere babygirl sweetiepie second is fuck hpa junko was honestly kind of right to send that shit crumbling and thirdly is im sorta confused #what is going on here is this like a fight club sort of scenario? i think its fight club. i love that movie
but from these first few chapters its made so glaringly obvious that this whole entire thing is a critique of the japanese school system. ryoko otonashi is said to have an extraordinary talent but is on the brink of being suspended because she has a mental disability. it shows that even w a talent you are only valued for what usefulness you can provide as a human.
this is part of the reason komaedas worldview pisses me off so much because his longing for "a hope that can overcome any despair" is not only unrealistic but exclusionary to ppl who society doesnt bother to accomodate even if they did have an ultimate talent. he only cares about the ultimates insofar as to what they can contribute to on a grander scale which is so fucked up i really dont think he sees them as human people. which is why he is okay with seeing them be killed at all in sdr2, he figures that if their hope wasn't "strong enough" against their killer's then the fate that befell them was somewhat deserved WHICH IS SOOOO FUCKED UP I HATE HIM he says he "loves" all the ultimates but really what he means is he loves the idea and concept of ppl w talent and what it means to humanity and the flames his beliefs are only fed by the hopes peak dogma reiterating that very idea. this is also why kamukoma sucks to me LOL realistically those two are not fucking idc
WHICH IS ALSO WHY IT PISSES MY THE FUCKKKK OFF THAT INT HE END OF DR3 ANIME THEY REVEAL NAEGI AS HEADMASTER OF THE NEW REBUILT HPA LIKE WHYYYYY WOULD YOU MAKE ANOTHER ONE. GROUND ZERO FOR THE WORLDS COLLAPSE. THAT SPITS IN THE FACE OF EVERYTHING ELSE WE HAVE SEEN okay im done now bye
TOMODACHI LIFE 2 IS REAL
WII ARE SO FUCKING BACK
People seem to know V3’s Mastermind when the real one is right there-
No I don’t take criticism-
