O' the summer time is gone.
And the trees are brown and cryin'.
And I can't hold on to time.
But for you, my dear, I'm tryin'.
How do you write sooo good
Thank you for the kind words!
To be honest, I couldn't tell you exactly what I think I do well when it comes to my writing.
I think it's always important to acknowledge subjectivity in art & any form of expression. What you may enjoy about my writing could be exactly what another person dislikes.
The one consistency is that I'm not personally concerned with impressing either party. I'm always thankful and touched when I receive praise, but my writing is a form of expression that is important for me alone, as long as I am truthful in my words and feelings, people will gravitate toward it.
I hope you find inspiration in my words, I hope it helps you create art that makes you feel whole; whether it's because you did something similar or totally different. There is something to be learned even in the art we dislike, which is almost as important as finding your muse.
I've always loved words; their etymology and the way language changes. I try to give my poetry a consistent tone, and I use images and colour to guide the reader through the piece, with the freedom to interpret as they wish.
The best way to get better is to exercise, the best way to learn what works is to fail, and more importantly how to get the right feedback.
I wish I could be more specific, but I hope this helps! Thank you again for your kindness, I hope this finds you well and I hope you have peace.
