I sighed in relief as the bus I needed finally arrived at the stop. Once I got on, I sighed, seeing there were no available seats and grabbed a hold of a nearby pole for standing passengers, placing a hand on my 6-month-pregnant stomach, hearing a whisper of, “Son, come here and let the lady sit down.”
“No! I want to sit down!” the child replied. I just sent a smile the the father in a ‘it’s fine, I’m used to it’ way.
That’s when I felt a tap on my shoulder, “Miss, here, take my seat. I’m getting off soon anyway.”
I turned around and was met with a freckled face and brown hair, tied up in a low ponytail, the man wearing a white t-shirt with turtles on it. I smiled as he stood up and thanked him, sitting down, feeling relieved at the weight being removed from my legs.
“Thank you again, sir. I like your T-shirt by the way.”
“Thank you. Turtles are just the best!”
I let out a giggle, “I agree.”
-------------------------
A few minutes later the bus arrived at my stop. I stood up and thanked the driver before getting off and finishing the small walk home I had from the bus stop. That’s when I felt another tap on the shoulder, “Sorry, Miss. I didn’t get your name. It seems we were getting off at the same place.”
“Oh, I’m (Y/n). What about you?”
“John. You’ve got a pretty name. Oh, shit, I shouldn’t be flirting, I can tell you’re already in a relationship,” he muttered the last statement his eyes darting to my stomach.
“T-thank you, and it’s fine. I was, but not anymore. My boyfriend was excited about the two of us having a baby, but a few days ago, I found out he had been cheating on me since before he got me pregnant and that he was dumping me for her when I told him there was a chance that our baby wouldn’t be perfect. I don’t have the best eyesight, I’m dyslexic, and I’m a carrier of a genetic ‘deformity’, I hate that word, a thing that my mum has that could get passed down to this child. The girl my ex was cheating on me with has no problems with her DNA, has perfect eyesight and she’s gorgeous. Sorry for ranting, we’ve probably walked past your house by now.”
John just shook his head, “Nope! Plus it wouldn’t be right for me to let you walk home alone. Who knows who could take advantage of you? And your ex is wrong for not seeing you for how perfect you are. You need someone who will love every part of you and the child, no matter what they look like,” he spoke, putting a bit of my hair behind my ear that had fallen out of place, causing my face to turn slightly pink.
We ended up learning that we lived in the same block of flats, and right next to each other, and two months later, John made me move in with him so that he wouldn’t worry about me being on my own and having to go the hospital alone, then I met his very loud friends…..
-------------------JOHN’S POV
“John, what’s got you so distracted?”
“Nothing Alex. I’m fine,” I replied, moving my hand and pushing a bit of hair that had fallen into (Y/n)’s face out of the way, who was currently asleep on my shoulder.
“I have a feeling it’s something to do with (Y/n). Mon ami, I can see it in your eyes, you love her, non?”
I immediately looked up, staring Laf in the face, “W-what?!”
“I knew it. Just tell her, mon ami, before someone snatches her up,” Laf replied, a smirk on his face.
“You wouldn’t dare,” I muttered, seeing him looking at (Y/n).
“Tell her and I won’t.”
At that moment, (Y/n) woke up with a scream, “I-it hurts!” making my eyes widen, “Laf can I borrow your car? Mine’s in for a service today.”
“On one condition; I’m driving.”
“Fine. Just get (Y/n) to the hospital, please.”
-----------------------------YOU POV
“Thank you for helping me, John. I don’t think I would have made it without your help,” I spoke, panting as I held Jane in my arms, the baby girl being sound asleep.
“No problem. Glad I was of some help.”
“Mon ami, don’t you have something to say to (Y/n)?”
I blinked at Laf’s words and asked John, “Do you?”
“Laf, I hate you so much….” John muttered, “If I have to do this, you three must leave.” Laf and Alex sighed, Herc eventually had to drag them out of the room, leaving me and John alone, “So what did you have to say?”
“Since I met you, I felt something… a good something. I realised I’ve fallen in love with you, (Y/n). I know you probably don’t feel the same, I mean we have only known each other for a few months but-” I cut him off by placing a finger on his lips, “I love you too, John.”
His face lit up and I giggled, “I’m not messing with you, you can kiss me if you want.”
That was all he needed to bend down and carefully kiss me, careful not to disturb Jane.

----------------------NO ONE’S POV
“As a matter of fact, Wright, after your request, a more thorough investigation was done on the lighter, and a second set of fingerprints were found on it along with Miss Cykes’.”
“Who’s? It might help us find the true culprit.”
“Are you sure you want to know, Wright? It will come as a shock to you.”
“Just tell us, Edgeworth, this is not the time!”
“Hmph. Very well then. The prints belong to (Y/n).”
“That helps… Surname?”
“Who do you think, Wright? The prints belong to (Y/n) Wright-Blackquill.”
“WHAT?!”
---------------------YOUR POV
“(Y/n), tell me it’s not true.”
“Do you want me to lie to you? Because if I told you that I was nowhere near the Space Centre the day Dr Cykes was murdered, it would be so.”
Phoenix just sighed in response, knowing this revelation had made the case harder for him, now having to defend 3 people, to make sure neither me, Simon nor Athena went to/back to jail.
“Your Honour, may I make a statement?” I asked, ignoring Phoenix’s sweating face, “I’m the one that killed Dr Cykes. Do what you will with that information, but Simon deserves to be–”
“Silence! (Y/n), I won’t let you do this. Don’t make ridiculously false statements.”
I rolled my eyes and turned to the reverse panda that was my husband, “I’m telling the truth. Out of us, you’re the one making false statements, Simon. Your Honour, I will accept whatever sentence you give me, just as long as Simon is released.”
-----------------------------
“Go on. What do you have to say, Phoenix?” I spoke, refusing to look him or Athena in the eye, my head turned to the side.
“You first, (Y/n). What really happened that day? I know you don’t belong in here, we won’t let you face this alone!”
“Alone? Nick, I killed Dr Cykes, I deserve to be in here. I-I’m sorry for all the trouble I caused you, Athena.”
“Let me defend you.”
“Why?! There’s no point, Phoenix. I should have come clean seven years ago, but I-I was in the hospit-I don’t know why I didn’t. I should have just not been so cowardly,” I replied, nearly slipping up and mentioning me being in the hospital during the time of the trial for the incident, which would have caused more questions, as I’d told Phoenix that I was stuck on a hard case, “I guess this is where I fall apart. Look after Ashley for me, Phoenix, and if she asks, please don’t tell her that her mother’s a murderer.”
“I won’t let that happen! (Y/n), I know you’re innocent!”
“There’s more on the line here that you know, Phoenix. I just don’t want you to lose this case. If you take on my defence, you’ll lose the case.”
“Mr Wright won those trials because his clients were innocent! If you didn’t do it, then what’s the problem?” Athena asked.
“I’m guilty! That’s the thing, Athena. Crime deserves penance. Why should you bother helping me? Me being in jail serves the greater good, Phoenix. Just leave me alone, please!” I shouted, slamming my hand down in front of me, consequently sending a jolt of pain up my arm, where the bandage was still wrapped around for the past seven years (It’s not the same bandage over seven years! It’s been cleaned/different bandages). I winced in pain but tried to cover it up, hoping neither my brother nor Athena had noticed.
--------------------------------
“(Y/n), we’ve concluded that Athena stabbed the real culprit. I know you didn’t receive any injuries around that time, you were prosecuting a case the following days, so you couldn’t have been stabbed anywhere significant. I know you’re innocent!”
I grabbed my arm lightly, sighing, “I was hoping I wouldn’t have to do this, but you leave me no choice, Nick.” I removed my suit jacket and unbuttoned the sleeve of the shirt I was wearing pulling it up my arm to reveal the bandage wrapped around my forearm, “The few days after the incident, I wasn’t actually prosecuting a case, Phoenix, I was actually at the hospital, getting this,” I paused and removed the bandage from my arm, revealing the long scar, “seen to by a doctor. I don’t really need the bandage anymore, but the doctor said it’s still liable to bleed, seeing as how deep it was, so, I still need to keep it bandaged. You’re going to have to try harder if you want to save all three of us.”
—------------------------
“So, explain to me again what exactly happened the day Dr Cykes was murdered, (Y/n).”
I sighed and rolled my eyes, “You were in the courtroom when it was being discussed Phoenix. I’d gone to the Space Centre to visit as I knew Simon was there, but when I got up to the Robotics Lab, I saw Athena lying passed out on the floor, and a strange person standing with Dr Cykes’ coat on, with her already dead where they found her body. Upon realising that they had the Moon Rock, I tried to fight them off, then I got stabbed in the arm. Simon arrived a few minutes later, and despite my resistance, called an ambulance. I fell unconscious due to the blood loss and woke up three days later in the hospital. Then I came back to the agency with my ‘I’ve just finished a really stressful case’ story.”
“I’m just glad you’re not dead, (Y/n).”
“And I’m glad you didn’t get executed, Simon,” I replied, turning to face the ‘Twisted Samurai’. “I love you too much,” I finished, leaning up and pecking his cheek. At that moment, I felt arms wrap around my legs and I realised it was Ashley. I bent down and picked the seven-year-old up, “Simon, this is Ashley, your daughter. I didn’t have time to tell you because I only found out myself when I woke up, the doctor saying something about ‘both me and the baby being in good health’, well apart from me bleeding. Ashley, this is your father. Hopefully, he’ll be around for the rest of your life, or a decent chunk of it, rather than not even knowing you existed, As for why you haven’t met him before, I’ll explain it in a few years.”
“Is it related to why I had to spend the past few days with Uncle Nick, Mummy?”
“Now, how did you learn about that?”
“Uncle Nick told me not to tell you! But he said that you would be back in a few days and that you were having a small ‘holiday’, although, I don’t think it was much of a holiday now. Unless being in the Detention Centre is a holiday for you, Mummy.”
“Phoenix, how much did you tell her?” I asked, standing up and looking my older brother directly in the eye, “You better not have gone into detail about the incident!”
“All I said was that-”
“Someone had been murdered and you were accused of it, so you were in the Detention Centre until the real culprit was found.”
“Phoenix Wright, you better start running before I murder you!” I shouted, glaring daggers at my brother, “She’s a child! She doesn’t need to know about murders and stuff yet.”
Before I could run off to chase the, now, running Phoenix, I felt a gentle hand on my shoulder, “(Y/n), Wright-Dono means well. Plus he’s your brother. You shouldn’t get too mad at him.”
“You’re right, Simon, I’ll let him run back to the Agency, then call him and tell him he can stop running. I love you so much,” I responded, leaning up and kissing him, “I missed that.”

“SOPHIE! Where are you?!” I shouted, coming out of the room where the injured and sick Pokémon were.
“Oh, hello, (Y/n). Need something?” I turned around to see the girl in question walking up to me, a Chespin by her side.
“How could you? You said you’d keep it a secret!” I shouted again, not caring if anyone else heard us, I was annoyed and Sophie deserved what was coming.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about, (Y/n). Seriously, why has got you so mad?”
I took a deep breath, muttering, “Clear skies, clear skies,” to myself before turning back to Sophie, “I told you to keep m crush a secret! Why did you tell him?!”
“Oh that… It’s for your own good, (Y/n). Trust me.”
“How is telling someone who is never in a million years going to like me in the same way that I like him that I have a crush on him ‘for my own good’?! I thought you were my friend, Sophie! This is why the professor’s been ignoring me because he doesn’t want to speak to me!” At this, my Froakie, who had been watching the scene play out from my feet sent a water gun right in Sophie’s face.
“(Y/n), please stop shouting! Unless you want the whole of Lumiose City to hear you!” Sophie spoke, wiping the worst of the water from her face.
“And what is going on here?”
We both turned on our heels, Froakie jumping on my shoulder, to see Professor Sycamore standing there, a look of disappointment on his face, Gabby standing behind him. I felt my face turn red at the realisation that he’d heard our argument and looked down at my feet, neither me nor Sophie saying a word.
“I will ask you again, why were you arguing?”
Again I stayed quiet, continuing with my newfound fascination with the floor, still annoyed at Sophie for letting the proverbial Meostic out of the bag, but I still didn’t want to admit it to the Professor’s face that I had a massive crush on him.
“Well, I see neither of you will talk, if I hear anything about any arguments for the rest of the day, you’ll have to be shut in a room together until you learn to get along.”
I nodded, Sophie doing the same, and Professor Sycamore turned around, giving Gabby a pat on the muzzle, before turning back around to face us, “Oh, and (Y/n), I need to speak with you, alone.” The last word seemed to be directed towards Gabby, as the friendly Garchomp nodded, allowing Froakie to jump on her shoulder, and walked off in a different direction. I let out an involuntary gulp and nodded, “Yes Professor, of course.” even though I knew fine well why he wanted to talk to me, I could already hear it in my head, (Y/n), I know you have a ‘crush’ on me, so to speak, however, this is a professional setting, and I am your boss, and that’s all I will ever be. We soon reached his office and the door was closed behind me.
“(Y/n), do you have any idea why I wanted to speak to you?”
I gulped, before taking a deep breath in, “Listen, just let me say this, Professor. I am so sorry! I know it’s unprofessional of me to have a crush on you when you’re my boss, but I can’t help it. I-” I was cut off when he placed a finger on my lips, causing my eyes to widen as he leaned into my ear, whispering, “I can think of better things for your mouth to be doing right now than these apologies.”
I felt my face turn the same colour as the inside of a Fennekin’s ears and my eyes widened but before I could say anything, Professor Sycamore had kissed me, pinning me against the closed door. It was short, but once he broke away, he leaned into my ear again, “I think you should go and thank Sophie." I just stood there, perplexed, lifting a finger to my lips, “A-am I dreaming right now?”
The professor just chuckled, moving his hands to hold my hips, “Need me to confirm that this is reality?” I slowly nodded and he leaned closer, kissing me again.
“Definitely not dreaming. Professor, what does this make us?”
“Well, after what Sophie told me, I was hoping you’d like to be my girlfriend.”
My eyes widened again, “I’d love to be your girlfriend. I-is that all, Professor? I need to go and check on some of the injured Pokémon.”
“One thing. From now on, call me Augustine, Ma Cherie.”
I felt my cheeks tint again at the nickname, and nodded, “Will do Augustine.” With a final goodbye, I turned around and left his office.
“Someone’s happy.”
“Oh be quiet, Sophie. I-I’m sorry for both shouting at and doubting you and also thank you.”
“You’re welcome. So, can I be a bridesmaid at the wedding?”
I felt my face flare up bright red again, “SOPHIE! TOO EARLY FOR THAT!”

"Now who wants to see some new Pokémon?" I asked the young children in the trainer school. The group of pre-ten-year-olds. They all looked at me with stars in their eyes and nodded vigorously, causing me to giggle. I smiled and pulled out my 6 Pokéballs, setting the Pokémon residing in them free; Stoutland, Purrloin, Munna, Vanillite, Pidove and Cottonee. The six of them had been told in advance by me that they would be brought out for the children to play with. I smiled and the six of them happily started playing with the children, well, that was until a familiar face appeared in the doorway, "Ah, (Y/n), I was told you'd be in here." My eyes widened and I quickly returned Purrloin to her Pokéball, knowing of Cilan's fear of them and smiled, turning to him, "Cilan! This is a surprise. Why are you here, might I ask?" "Ahh, well, you should know. After all, what day is it?" he asked, coming further into the room, clearly hiding something behind his back. I rolled my eyes, "Cilan you know I don't keep track of dates. Just tell me why you're interrupting my class with this lot." "Well, I have something for you. Here," he replied pulling out what was behind his back, revealing a beautifully decorated cake, causing my heart to melt, "H-happy birthday (Y/n)." I smiled and hugged him, now noticing that the children were all staring at the two of us watching the scene play out, "Honestly, I completely forgot. I've been so caught up with this lot that I completely forgot the date. Did you make this yourself?" "Well, I had a bit of help from Cress and Chili. I baked the cake and iced it, Cress did the lettering because my hands were shaking too much, I'll admit it, and Chili made the little decorations."
"(Y/n) I'm ba-What is going on in here?" I looked up and saw the owner of the trainer school standing in the doorway. I stood up sheepishly and rubbed the back of my head, "Oh hello Mrs Adamson… To answer your question, I-"
I smiled as I was snuggled into Cilan's side on the sofa spending time with him, as both Chili and Cress, well technically Cress and then Chili went along with it, had said that he needed to spend time with me on my birthday, and I let out a content sigh, "You do realise I will get you back on your birthday you know. For your actions earlier. If I was teaching a slightly older class, Mrs Adamson might not have been so lenient with me! Even with it being my birthday, about not teaching the children and just sitting there eating c-" "You're adorable when you're mad, (Y/n). You know that, right?" Cilan replied, interrupting me and placing his chin on the top of my head. I rolled me eyes, "Oh fuck you. I am not cute!" "I'm sure Cilan would love that (Y/n)!" I felt my face turn bright red, "OH FUCK OFF CHILI! TAKE YOU LITTLE GAY ASS AND FUCK OFF!" I shouted, sending a middle finger over the back of the sofa as I couldn't be bothered turning around to face the redhead myself. "I AM NOT GAY, (Y/N)!!" This time I did sit up and turn to face him, "Really now? Because I've heard you muttering to yourself about how amazing you think Clyde is and how much you want to date him and stuff. If that's not proof then I don't know what is," I giggled, causing his face to turn the same colour as his hair, "YOU HEARD ME?!" That was the point when my face paled. "Wait, why did your face just turn pale, (Y/n)? Is there some-" Chili turned around and I burst out laughing at the fact that Clyde had been standing right behind him, with a bright red blush on his face, "Y-you like me?"
When we got downstairs in the morning, I felt my heart met at the sight of Chili lying on the sofa with an arm wrapped around Clyde's waist, who was lying on top of him, his head resting on Chili's chest. I smiled and giggled, but when I turned to Cilan, well, let's just say if had something in my hand I would have dropped it on the floor, Cilan was on the floor on one knee with a ring in his hand. Before he could get a word out however, I had already squealed and nodded, "Y-you don't even need to ask, Cilan, the answer will always be yes." ----------------END OF ONESHOT…. “Really? You honestly thought I’d want to date you when you look like that?” I tried to hold back the tears as my, now, ex-boyfriend kicked me to the curb metaphorically, continuing to say hurtful words, another girl hanging onto his arm, “You’re dumber than I thought. I was just using you because of your family.” And with that, he walked off, the girl following next to him, laughing. I sighed and stood up trying not to let the tears fall as I made my way back up to the common room. When I got up to my dorm, I sat down on my bed and sighed, taking my robe off so I was more comfortable, and laid down on my stomach, finally letting the tears fall.
That was when I started to hear small squeaks and I felt a small weight on my head. I let out a small giggle and lifted my hand, allowing the bowtruckle to step on before I brought my hand to my face, “Hello there. Did you stow away in my robes?” The small green creature looked down refusing to make eye contact and I giggled, “At least you’ve been found, Pickett.” I sighed, placed him down on my pillow and wiped my eyes, trying to stop the tears from flowing as I reached into my bag and pulled out a piece of parchment and a quill. I immediately started writing to my grandfather to let him know that Pickett was safe and hadn’t been stolen/harmed. Once I was done, I folded it up and let Pickett up on my shoulder before leaving the dorm, and heading up to the owlery.
“(Y/n)? Where are you going?”
“Owlery,” I replied in a monotone voice, refusing to look at Jen as I knew how observant she was and that she’d be able to tell I’d been crying from my face if she hadn’t by my tone of voice, “You’ve been crying. You can tell me what’s up, you know that, right?” I nodded, “Thank you, but it doesn’t matter. Now can I continue up to the owlery please?” She narrowed her eyes and let me go causing me to sigh in relief. I really didn’t want her to find out that William had broken up with me as I knew she’d tell the Marauders because of how protective they were of me. They didn’t need to be, it wasn’t like I was related to any of them, they just decided they were going to protect me for some reason. Once I’d sent the letter off to my grandparents, I walked outside and sat down by a tree by the Black Lake as it was just after dinner and curfew wasn’t for a few more hours and the outside air helped me to think better.
—------------------SIRIUS’ POV
“It was hilarious! You should have been there Prongs, his face was priceless.”
“Mate, shh. Is that.. Look it is! Where’s (Y/n) though?”
I looked up from my food to see William walking into the Great Hall, a random Slytherin hanging onto his arm looking as sneaky as ever.
“I swear to Godric if that git broke up with her, I’ll have is head.”
“Pads, calm down we know you like her.”
“Oh shut it, Prongs, you’d be the same if someone had done the same to your precious Lily” I retorted. Before James could reply, I felt a presence next to me and I looked up to see Bella.
“Have you seen (Y/n)?” I asked, curious as to where she was as she and Bella were normally inseparable, but Bella just shook her head, “Sorry, Sirius. I haven’t seen her since Transfiguration ended, but if I see her this evening, I’ll let her know you’re looking for her.”
“Thank you.”
“Wait a minute, I have an idea.”
“Huh? What do you mean, Moony?”
“Just, give me a minute.”
Without another word, he spun around in his seat to face the Hufflepuff table, directly where Jen was sitting, “Jen, have you seen (Y/n)?”
“Hm? Oh yeah, I saw her going up to the owlery before dinner. She looked like she’d been crying but refused to tell me why. If she’s not in her dorm or the common room, then I don’t know. Wait a minute, why didn’t you guys just use that map of yours? Don’t worry I won’t tell anyone about it.”
Moony thanked her and turned around as we all banged our heads on the table, “Why didn’t we think of the map? When we get back up we’re checking that map and finding where she is.”
------------------------YOUR POV
“Alright Pickett, you can sit on my head,” I muttered as the bowtruckle refused to go back in my pocket, “But you’ve got to hide when I go back inside, “Okay?”
Pickett just stuck his tongue out at me and blew a raspberry, “I thought you were taught not to do that. If you’re discovered, then it’ll mean bad news for me. Please, work with me-”
“(Y/n)?”
At the sound of my name, I quickly took Pickett off my head, hiding him behind my back and turned to the person, “Oh, Sirius, hey, what are you doing out here?”
“I wanted to talk, have you been crying?” he asked, reaching out and taking my hand in his, which I didn’t reject, surprising him as every other time he’d tried to make physical contact with me, I’d pushed him away. I sighed and nodded, releasing my grip on Pickett before placing him back on my head and wiping my eyes with my now free hand, “Y-yeah. Promise not to tell anyone else?” Sirius nodded and I took a deep breath, “William broke up with me. Told me he was just using me because of my family and that ‘no one would want to date someone who looked like me’. He then called me fat, along with a load of other hurtful stuff and then walked off,” I spoke, the tears coming back to my eyes again, this time I just let them fall, only stopping when I felt Sirius wiping them, “(Y/n), please don’t cry. I don’t like seeing you cry, it makes me cry when you’re upset and don’t believe anything that jerk says, you’re perfect the way you are.”
“He’s right though, Sirius. No one would want to date me, I am fat-” I was cut off when he placed a finger to my lips, “Do not say that about yourself in my presence. You are not fat, (Y/n). You are perfect, and I know one person who would want to date you.”
“W-who?” I asked, looking up at him. Instead of replying, he took my cheek in his hand and bent down to my level, kissing me, “Me.” I felt my face turn bright red and I blinked, bringing my hand up to my lips once he’d stepped back a little, “Y-you? You’d want to date me?”
“I-if you wanted to date me back, then yeah. I’ve been in love with you since 3rd year, (Y/n). You know how Prongs used to go on and on about Lily before she finally gave in and started dating him?” I nodded and Sirius continued, “Well, Moony told me I was the exact same with you. Apparently, I wouldn’t shut up about you and complain about that git of a boyfriend you had whenever I could. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a nose to go and break.”
I giggled and grabbed his hand before he got too far from me, “I-if you’re serious that you’d want to date me, honestly, I’d be lucky to be the one to have grabbed your attention. I like you too, Sirius.”
That stopped him in his tracks, and he turned back towards me, grabbing my upper arms and kissing me again, “I would be the lucky one, (Y/n). I love you so much.”
“I-I love you too, Sirius. Are you sure I’m not too chubby for you to date?”
He shook his head, “No. You are perfect the way you are, how many times do I have to say it? It’s what’s on the inside that counts, not what you look like. I love you for the way you act and your personality, not what you look like.” At that moment Pickett jumped off my head and onto Sirius’ hand, causing me to smile, “It looks like Pickett approves, please don’t tell any of our professors he’s here. Honestly, he stowed away on my robes, or well, in my clothes in general.”
“I won’t don’t worry, (Y/n). I’d never do anything to get you into trouble.”
“Thank you. I love you, Sirius.”

"Miss (L/n), is he your boyfriend?"
I felt my face flare up at the question from the small girl. Maybe taking a load of 11-12 year olds on a school trip alone wasn't the best idea… I bent down away from the detective inspector to her level, "No… he's not. Now did you need something?"
"But you love him though, don't you?"
Again, my face went redder than I thought was possible as I responded, "Millie, my love life is none of your concert at the moment. Please just go and have fun while we're here."
"But there's like police guys everywhere! We can't do anything, that's what I came to tell you!"
I sighed, "Alright, can you go and get everyone to come back to the bus then? We'll go to the hotel for the afternoon then."
She nodded and ran off as I took a deep breath turning back to Greg, "I'm sorry about that, but this is what I get for taking them on a school trip all on my own."
"It's kind of cute to be honest. They're just looking out for you, you know, (Y/n). Want you to be happy and all."
I smiled, "I guess you're right, so… what happened here that you had to spoil our school trip?"
"Murder case. I just hope that Sherlock doesn't appear…" Greg responded, muttering the last statement, causing me to giggle, "You know Sherlock though, he will appear. I wish you luck for when he does. I should probably go and get those kids to the hotel," I replied, before saying my goodbyes and walking off outside where I saw the kids sitting on the bus, Millie waiting outside. I smiled and walked up, "Good job, Millie. Everyone here?"
She nodded, "Yep! So… are you sure that guy isn't your boyfriend?" I just shook my head and got on the bus, her following me as I talked to the driver about where the hotel was we were staying at.
----------------
The last day we were in the centre of London for for the trip, again, somehow we managed to bump into Greg again.
"We meet again, (Y/n)."
I giggled, "Yeah. I guess we do. Another case?"
He nodded, "Yes, and unfortunately, that psychopath is already here."
I giggled, "I think you mean 'High Functioning Sociopath', Greg. You should listen to him though."
"I know, but he just makes Scotland Yard look like a bunch of idiots."
I giggled at his complaining but before I could say anything else, "Miss (L/n)!! When are we going home? Oh Hello again, Mr! Are you sure you're not Miss (L/n)'s boyfriend? This is the third day in a row we've seen you and her talking." My face flushed red and I hid behind the clipboard I had with the schedule written on as I composed myself, "Alright, We're going home now actually," I replied, checking the schedule, "To the bus!" The three boys smiled and took off, but before I could follow them, I felt a hand grab my wrist. As I turned around, Greg grabbed my upper arms and kissed me. I blinked and wrapped my arms around his neck, kissing him back.
"Are you sure he's not your boyfriend?"
I flinched back at Millie's voice and cleared my throat "Well, I gu-"
"I am," Greg interrupted me, wrapping his arms around my waist from behind, leaning his head on my shoulder, "Now I guess I should let your teacher take you back."
Millie smirked and ran off as I turned around so I was now facing Greg, "Thanks for that. Now she's going to tell the whole class and I'll never hear the end of it."
He chuckled and pecked my lips, "They deserve to know that their teacher isn't single anymore. Plus otherwise they'll just get mad at you when your name changes."
I rolled my eyes and giggled, "Is this your way of proposing even though we literally just got together?"
"Well, we're childhood friends, we've known each other for so long, (Y/n), but no, not yet. Maybe in a few years."
-----------------------
"Now, to conclude our final assembly of the school year, I'd like to pass over to our Year 7 teacher, Miss (L/n)."
I smiled and took a deep breath walking up to the small mic in the school hall as the headmistress patted me on the shoulder, "Good luck."
I nodded to her as a thanks before speaking into the microphone, "Hello to you all. Now those of you in year 9, might remember that school trip we had when you were in year 7, and how you kept asking me if the guy we kept running into was my boyfriend, well, when we come back in August, I won't be 'Miss (L/n)' to any of you anymore," this caused gasps and mutters of confusion to go around the hall, "as by that time that won't be my name. I am pleased to tell you all that I am getting married over the summer!"
There were many cheers throughout the school hall as I continued with one final point, "Oh, before I forget, Millie Williamson, please can you and your parents come and see me in my classroom after the assembly."
-----------------
"What did you want to talk to me about, Miss (L/n)?" Millie asked.
I smiled and bent down to her level the best I could, placing a hand on her shoulder, "Millie, how would you like to be the flower girl at my wedding?"
Her eyes widened and filled with joy, "Really?! You want me as part of the ceremony?!"
I nodded and she looked up to her parents a pleading look on her face. Her mother sighed, "Miss (L/n), may I ask why you want Millie to be your flower girl?"
"Well, to be honest, if it wasn't for her, then I wouldn't be getting married at all. It's thanks to her constant pestering two years ago that gave me the courage to confess my feelings to Greg, my now fiancé and I want her to be there as a thank you."
"I see."
"Please, Mum, Dad? Please can I do it?!" Millie asked again, causing both her parents to sigh, "Very well, what date is the wedding, Miss (L/n)?" I smiled widely and told them the date as Millie gave me a hug.
--------------------
I smiled, snuggling into Greg's side, the two of us sitting on the sofa in the house as I admired the shiny ring on my finger.
"How was today?"
My smile widened and I leaned up kissing him, "Absolutely perfect. I wouldn't have had it any other way."
"I love you, (Y/n). So much."
"I love you too, Greg. Both of you."
"Huh? What are you talking about?"
"I'm pregnant," I whispered in his ear before snuggling into his side and going to sleep.

“No.”
“Why?”
“Because I’m not a child.”
“Neither are we. It’s just a game, (Y/n), why won’t you play with us?”
I rolled my eyes and closed the book I was reading, “Let me rephrase that sentence. I do not act like a child. Truth or Dare is a game that first and second years play not seventh years. You boys need to grow up!”
“But it’s fun!” James protested, leaning over the back of the sofa I was sitting on to whisper in my ear, “Plus you might get a chance to confess your crush.”
“Shut it you git!” I retorted, throwing a nearby cushion at his head. How he knew I had a crush on one of his best friends, I had no idea, “If you boys promise to behave, and by that, I mean no inappropriate questions, I’ll play.”
“Awesome! Best person ever!” Sirius shouted, running over and hugging me, “You’re my favourite person, (Y/n)!”
“T-thank you,” I replied, feeling my face heat up.
“Right! I’ll go first, (Y/n), truth or dare?”
I rolled my eyes sighing, “Dare. I am not giving you a chance to ask me that question I know you want to ask me.”
“Fine, be like that, but I dare you to sit on Padfoot’s lap for the rest of the game,” James responded, smirking. I felt my face heat up as I turned to Sirius, “I-is that okay with you?” Sirius nodded turning away from me and I walked over to him sitting down on his lap, shifting a bit.
“Stop that, (Y/n).”
“I’m trying to get comfortable! It’s not my fault you’re an uncomfortable chair.”
“I’m sure there’s one part of him you’d love to sit on though, right, (Y/n)?” James asked, wiggling his eyebrows. My face went bright red, knowing exactly what he was hinting at and threw another red and yellow cushion at him, “Shut up! So my turn now… Remus, truth or dare?”
He thought for a moment before speaking, “Dare.”
This put a smirk on my face, “Next time you see Jen, ask her out. I know you like her.” Remus’ face turned red and I chuckled, “And I’m right.” Before Remus had a chance to recover, the portrait hole opened and in came Lily, Jen following behind her, the two of them holding a couple of pieces of parchment each. The smirk on my face grew and I turned to them, “Jen! Come over here for a minute please!”
The Hufflepuff turned to face me and placed her books down on a nearby table before walking over, “Yeah?” I just looked at Remus and nodded, causing him to get fidgety, “Do I have to do this in the middle of the common room?”
I nodded, “Gotta make sure you do it, Rem.”
He sighed and stood up, “Fine, but I’ll get you back for this. Jen, listen, whatever you say, I won’t be upset or annoyed, but I really like you, and I was wondering if you’d like to go on a date?” I could see his face was bright red as Jen stared at him, blinking, “Oh. I actually had no idea. I’m sorry, Remus but-”
“JEN!”
Before we knew it, Charlotte had ran up and hugged Jen from behind, “You didn’t tell me you were coming.”
“I was dragged, Lottie. Would you mind giving me my personal space for a few minutes?”
Charlotte nodded and unwrapped her arms from Jen’s waist, “Yeah! I’ll be up in my dorm, you better come and talk once you’re done with whatever it is you’re doing with these guys,” she spoke, quickly pecking Jen on the cheek before running back upstairs to her dorm room.
“As I was saying, I’m sorry, Remus, but I’m already taken.”
I could almost see Remus’ heart break at hearing that, but he did his best to compose himself, “Oh, right. That’s okay. Sorry to bother you, I just thought I’d tell you.”
I knew Jen didn’t want to hurt his feelings and I could tell she felt bad as she turned and walked up the stairs to the girls’ dorms, I started to feel bad too as I’d been the one to dare Remus to confess, but before anyone else could say anything, Remus had turned to me, “How could you?! Are you trying to embarrass me?!”
“Remus, I didn’t know she was dating someone. Seriously. I had no idea!” I shouted, standing up from Sirius’ lap to face him.
“You still dared me to tell her I liked her! This is your fault, (Y/n)! I HATE YOU!”
I gasped at his outburst, feeling tears come to my eyes due to my crush on him. Thankfully, James didn’t know that as he’d be teasing me about liking both him and Sirius if he knew. Remus walked closer to me, anger in his eyes, but before he could get too close, Sirius stood up and stood in front of me, “Moony, stay away from my girlfriend!” he shouted, blocking me from Remus.
“Sirius. Move.”
“No. I won’t let you hurt her! None of us knew Jen was dating Charlotte, if we did we would have told (Y/n) to change the dare! None of us would purposely do anything to make you upset, don’t you know that?! We’re the ones that became animagi to help you! We’d sacrifice anything for you, Moony!”
At this, Remus took a step back, “I-I’m sorry, (Y/n). I have to reason to be mad at you if you say you didn’t know, then I believe you.”
I smiled, “It’s okay Remus. Now, back to the topic at hand, Sirius, did you call me your girlfriend?”
Sirius’ face turned red and he started stuttering, “Um.. well, I-... yes. I’m sorry, I like you, but I know you like-” I shut him up by leaning up and kissing him, surprising him.
“You.”
“M-me?! But I thought you like M-”
“It’s always been you, Sirius,” I replied, quickly, trying to make him shut up, knowing that James had probably told him I liked Remus, “Okay! Back to the game,” I continued, as Sirius sat back down on the sofa, pulling me back on his lap, “Now you’ve got to stay there.” I blinked a few times and nodded, still slightly confused at what he meant, but Remus brought me back to reality, “Sirius, truth or dare?”
“Um, Dare.”
“Okay… Kiss (Y/n).”
I could see there was something inside Remus that didn’t want him to dare Sirius to kiss me, but I put it down to him still being slightly mad at me. I could feel Sirius shifting under me and he sat up properly, me still on his lap as he leaned over my shoulder, “(Y/n), you’re going to have to help me, here.” I giggled, thinking of something and turned around, straddling him and allowing him to kiss me as he placed his hands on my hips, keeping me where I was, slightly pressing me down, before giving me a pleading look, and that’s when I realised the second meaning to his statement of me needing to help him.
“Alright! I said kiss not make out! You don’t need to show off that you have a girlfriend, Sirius.”
I giggled at Remus’ attitude, knowing he was annoyed at being the only single one out of him and his friends as James had finally succeeded in getting Lily to go on a date with him and broke off from Sirius, “Actually, I’m getting tired, I’m going to head to bed.”
“(Y/n)! Don’t leave me,” Sirius pleaded and I leaned into his ear, “Then state that you want to cuddle with me and pull me up to your dorm, and I’ll help you with your… issue.” His face lit up and he nodded, as I leaned back.
“(Y/n), I want to cuddle. You know, like in a fluffy way. Come sleep with me!”
I giggled and nodded, “If you say so, Sirius.” before standing up, Sirius did the same as he quickly pulled me up to the dorm he shared with James and Remus, and I was soon pushed down on his bed, with Sirius nipping at my neck.
“(Y/n), are you sure this is okay? I don’t want to fuck up our relationship on the first day of us being together.”
“Merlin yes. Honestly, I’ve fantasised about you fucking me, Sirius. You’re so hot, and I understand why girls are always hanging off you.”
“Good,” he muttered before kissing me again.
----------------------------(No more steamy stuff)
“I’m sorry. We’re moving to France, Sirius. There’s nothing I can do about it. My parents are forcing me and they don’t care about the face that we’re dating, they’re forcing me to stop contacting you, and won’t even tell me where, so it’s not like I can tell you the address of our new house and then have you write to me first. Also, they’re taking Snowy away from me, well, in the sense that she’s not allowed in my room anymore, and only they have the key to her cage so I can’t write to you, and you know I’m not good with the muggle postal syste-”
“(Y/n), shh. You’re ranting.”
“Sorry. I just do that when I’m nervous or upset. I know my parents never approved of you but I would have thought they could have put their hatred for you aside for my happiness, but I guess not. Normally in this situation, I’d say I’ll keep in touch, but I can’t. Please don’t forget me.”
“I won’t. I love you so much, (Y/n). I will never forget you.”
--------------------------
A few years later, I had been sitting in the living room, reading a book when my mother came in, a letter in her hands, “(Y/n). You have muggle post.”
“Thank you,” I replied as she handed it to me. I smiled, recognising the handwriting on the envelope, how Remus knew our new address, I had no idea, but due to the fact that my parents had been friends with the Potters, I guessed she’d told them, who had then told James who had told Remus, but I put the thoughts to the back of my head and opened the letter;
“Dear (Y/n),
I never thought I’d be writing this letter, didn’t think I’d ever have to, but, James and Lily’s position was given away to Voldemort and they’re both dead. Harry managed to survive, somehow, but it’s worse because Sirius is the one who’s been blamed for it. He caused an explosion killing a load of muggles as well as Peter. All that was left of him was a finger. Sirius has now been locked up in Azkaban, and we’re having a funeral for James and Lily in a few weeks. Do let me know if your parents will let you attend.
Your Dearest friend,
Remus.”
I gasped, feeling the tears come to my eyes at reading it. I didn’t believe that Sirius would betray James and Lily and just let the tears fall.
“(Y/n)? What’s wrong?”
“Two of my best friends are dead. I wish we’d never come to France. That was Remus writing, he said they’re having a funeral for James and Lily in a few weeks.”
“If you want to go, I understand. I’ll look after Bella for you.”
“Really?”
My mother nodded, “Yes. I know they were your friends, and I shouldn’t have forced you to come here.”
“T-thank you.”
-------------------------
I cried, placing my head on Remus’ shoulder and crying into his shoulder. I soon felt him wrap his arms around me, rubbing softly at my back, trying to comfort me. After I came back to Britain for James and Lily’s funeral, my mother said that I could stay if I wanted to, which is what I wanted, and a few weeks later, my mother came over with Bella and more of my and Bella’s stuff. Due to my parents moving to France, they’d sold the family home, meaning I didn’t have anywhere to live, but I ended up moving in with Remus after he bonded so well with Bella, and despite him being nervous about hurting her when he transformed, he got along well with her, so much to the point where Bella believed he was her father.
“Mummy, why do I have to go away every month?” she asked one time when I was helping her pack her stuff up for a few nights.
“Do you not like getting to stay at Jen and Lottie’s house, Bella?” I replied, as I placed her toothbrush in her bag.
“No! I like staying with them, it’s fun, I just want to know why.”
Before I could answer, the doorbell rang and I breathed a sigh of relief as I ushered Bella downstairs, opening the door to reveal Jen, “Thank you. You came at the perfect time. Thank you so much. She was getting curious about why she had to leave the house every month.”
“Are you ever going to tell her?”
“Tell her what, Jen? I don’t know what you mean.”
“That Remus isn’t her father? Are you ever going to tell her that?”
“Oh… Well does it actually matter? It’s not like she’s going to get to meet her biological father. Don’t you dare tell her. Remus is the closet thing to a father Bella will have, and you know why.”
“I know, but I happen to have overheard your last conversation with Sirius before you moved to France, you made him promise not to forget you, but are you really doing to forget him?”
“I don’t know what you mean, Jen. Remus is just being a good friend.”
“That you happen to fancy,” she teased, giving me a small poke in the shoulder.
“Shut it, I don’t and you know that!”
“What I know is that you like him! You’ve been telling me that he’s bonded so well with Bella that she believes he’s her father, so make it happen! Tell Remus you like him and boom, step-father!”
“Wait… weren’t you the one telling me to not forget Sirius?” I questioned raising an eyebrow.
“Well… Oh look at that, there’s my favourite little bean!” Jen exclaimed and I turned around, seeing Bella walking down the stairs, “I forgot Mr Fluffykins!” She spoke, walking down the last few stairs carefully, “He’s so fluffy!” I giggled patting her head, “Are you ready to go now?” She nodded and I handed Jen her bag for the few nights, knowing Remus probably wouldn’t be able to leave his bed the day after the full moon and that I’d have to tend to his fresh scars, which I didn’t mind doing. Jen was right, I did love him. Once Jen had left with Bella I closed the door and sighed, but I was disturbed from my peace, “(Y/n)?” I looked up to see Remus standing in front of me, a questioning look on his face, “Did I head Jen correctly there? Do you like me?”
“This isn’t the right time to talk about it, Remus.”
“That’s a yes then. I know that when you’re faced with difficult questions, you try and avoid the question. You can tell me the truth.”
I sighed, “Fine, yes. I like you. Please don’t b-” I was cut off when he took my hand in his scarred one and pulled me closer. “Good,” he muttered before kissing me. I was completely caught off guard but soon melted into it, wrapping my arms around his neck. I had taken the chance to be happy, knowing that I wouldn’t see Sirius again and that Bella deserved to have a father in her life, and better it was someone she had a close bond with, and believed already was her father.
“I have loved you for so long, (Y/n). You don’t know how long. It hurt when I saw you and Sirius-”
“Rem, please don’t mention his name. What’s in the past is in the past.”
---------------------------
“You can’t keep her hidden forever, (Y/n).”
“She’s my daughter. Sirius has no right to see her. Where’s he been for the last sixteen years?”
“To be fair, he didn’t know she existed, (Y/n)! He was locked up in Azkaban for thirteen of them, and you weren’t allowed to contact him for the other three!”
“What are you talking about?”
I froze and turned around from the conversation I was having with Molly and Remus to see Bella standing in the doorway, a confused look on her face. I sighed and started to play with the ring on my finger, biting my lip, “I-It’s not important, Honey. Please just go back upstairs.”
“She has the right to know, (Y/n). Just tell her.”
“Tell me what?” Bella asked again, refusing to move, “Tell me, Mum. Is there something you’re hiding from me?”
I sighed again, “I’m sorry, Bella, but yes. I haven’t been completely honest with you.”
Molly gave me a small smile and walked out, leaving me in the dining room with Bella and Remus, who placed a hand on my waist, “You’ve got this. She’ll still love you, don’t worry.”
“Right. Bella, I’m sorry, but I have been lying to you. The truth is-”
“I’m not your biological father, Bella,” Remus interjected, causing the sixteen-year-old to blink, “What? But who is then?”
“I’m interested too, (Y/n). Who is Bella’s father if it isn’t Moony?”
I sighed again, before turning to Bella, “Could you go upstairs for a few minutes, Bella? I’ll come and get you when it’s time to go.” She nodded and hugged me before walking off upstairs. I took a deep breath and turned my attention back to Sirius, “Who do you think? Who else would be her father for her to be seventeen? For her to be sixteen, she’d have to have been born in 1978, meaning…”
“She’s mine?”
“Yes, you’re her father, Sirius. Happened the night we first got together. Remember that Truth or Dare game?”
His face made an ‘oh’ shape and he nodded, “Why didn’t you tell me?”
“Sirius, drop it. It doesn’t matter now.”
“Why? How would you feel if your girlfriend didn’t tell you she was pregnant and you didn’t find out you have a child until they were seventeen?!” Sirius shouted at Remus, who just placed a hand around me comfortingly as I’d started to breathe heavily and was struggling to concentrate, “Sirius, for God's sake, be quiet. You’re stressing (Y/n), who might I add is my wife, out.”
Sirius’ eyes widened and he turned to me, “How could you? So you make me promise not to forget you and then you go and marry my best friend?!”
“Sirius, the circumstances were different! I didn’t know James and Lily were going to be killed and that you were going to be sent to Azkaban! Remus was there for me when you couldn’t be. Now if you don’t mind, I need to be alone for a while,” I replied going to walk towards the door, but I was pulled back and lips were planted on mine. When I realised it wasn’t Remus, I pushed away, “Sirius! Stop!”
“I know you still love me, (Y/n)!”
“Whether I do or not, does not give you the right to kiss me without permission! Especially when I am married now!”
“Oh come on! So all that time we spent together is now out of the window?”
“We were together for 5 months before I moved away, Sirius. I’ve been with Remus for almost as long as Bella’s been alive, speaking off, we should be off. I’ll go and get her,” I replied, kissing Remus quickly before walking out of the room and upstairs to find Bella.
-----------------------
“(Y/n), can you be truthful with me, please? Do you still love Sirius?”
I sighed and looked up at Remus, “Why?”
“Just answer the question, please. Do you still love him?”
“Rem, where’s this come from? I’ve told you before you are enough for me. I can deal with the werewolf thing.”
“Do you still love him!? Tell me.”
I gulped and took a deep breath before nodding, “Yes.”
“Then go to him.”
“Rem, don’t say that. Please. I love you!”
“You can’t love both of us, (Y/n)! I know you only married me for Bella’s sake.”
“I did not marry you for Bella’s sake, Rem. I love you. When we were in school, I had an incredibly hard time dealing with my feelings because my heart was telling me I was in love with both you and Sirius. It was you first and when I found out that you liked Jen, my heart also started to feel things for Sirius, but I still liked you, and I still love both of you.”
Remus’ eyes just widened as he tried to process what I’d said before he nodded, wrapping his arms around me, “Oh. Well, in that case, I should be honest with you. When we were in school, I had a small crush on Sirius too.”
This time it was my turn for my eyes to widen and I smiled, “Aww. Thank you for being honest with me, Remus.”
Before anything else could be said, there was a knock at the door. I detangled myself from Remus and walked to the door, being surprised when Sirius was the one standing there, “Hello.”
“Sirius? What brings you here?” I asked, letting him in. After he was inside, I closed the door and we walked into the living room, “Hey, Rem, look who turned up.”
I noticed Remus freeze up slightly, but he greeted Sirius nonetheless. Sirius then turned to me, “Oh yeah, I wanted to apologise for getting angry and defensive. It was not right for me to believe you still liked me after having seventeen years of no contact. I’m also sorry for kissing you without permission, especially when you’re married.”
I smiled something that surprised him, before hugging him, “Thank you for the apology, Sirius. Although, it doesn’t make the kiss ‘alright’, but I understand that you still love me… and honestly, I still love you too.” His eyes widened and he looked at Remus, fear written all over his face, but Remus just walked over and hugged him, causing a slight blush to take over both their faces, confirming my theory.
“Sirius, I’m going to ask you something, and you need to be 100% honest. Can you do that?”
He nodded and I could see he was nervous, wondering what I was going to ask. I smiled, “Have you ever had/do you have any form of romantic feelings towards Remus?”
Both their eyes widened and Sirius’ face turned bright red as he looked away from me, nodding slowly, “Y-yes.”
“Well, I have an idea. One that will make all of us happy. How would you two feel about a poly relationship?” They both looked at each other before turning to me and each of them kissing one of my cheeks, “That’s a brilliant idea.”
“I think so too.”
I smiled, “Great.”
---------------------------------
I smiled as the three of us stood on Platform 9¾ as the train came in. I stood in the middle of Remus and Sirius, both of them with an arm around my waist, as we waited for Bella to get off the train. She soon spotted us and ran over with her stuff, Harry following behind her. Once she got closer, Bella stopped, blinking at the situation in front of her, “Mum? What’s going on?” she asked, noticing Sirius’ hand wrapped around my waist.
“Right. I forgot to mention it in my last letter, but you’re going to have two fathers from now on.”
She just looked at me blankly, completely confused, “What?”
I giggled and ruffled her hair, “To put it simply. During the past few months, I realised I was still in love with your biological father, as well as your stepfather, and the three of us came to the conclusion we were all in love with each other, so we’re all dating each other. Do you mind that, Bella?”
Instead of her being mad, like I expected, she just smiled and hugged me, “I’m happy for you, Mum!”
I returned the smile and hug, “Glad to hear that, Bella.”
