people on tiktok are feeling sorry for brenner and saying shit like “his actions came from a place of hurt 🥺” as if this man didn’t kidnap children from their families, take away their autonomy, abuse them for their powers, psychologically damage & manipulate them, dehumanise them by shaving their heads and addressing them by numbers, OH YEAH and fry terry ives’s brain when she went looking for her daughter????? this all happened BEFORE the massacre but I’m seeing these comments acting like brenner actually used to be a lovely kind loving man who became cruel after the massacre…like. NO?????

he was ALWAYS an evil, terrible, awful person. he didn’t just magically become evil one day. he was ALWAYS like that. he didn’t “love” the kids, he loved their powers and using them for his own gain. you could argue that he became crueller to el after the massacre because he believed she was a murderer and a dangerous weapon, but I don’t believe he was ever truly kind to the children in a way that wasn’t manipulative or self-serving. he is seen to be sad and angry when he sees the kids are dead, but he’s not sad because he loved them, he’s sad that his little lab rats are dead and he can’t experiment on them anymore.

i can’t believe people watch the last of us and hear “save who you can save” and “there was one person worth saving. and that’s what i did, i saved him and i protected him. that’s why men like you and me are here” and then somehow get to the season one finale and don’t understand the thesis of the show. you can philosophize back and forth on the good of the one versus the good of the many, but in crisis, in truly awful situations, our selfishness is bravery. it’s brave to refuse to let the harsh world take away what matters to you. joel saved ellie because in a world of unimaginable chaos and tragedy we have to cling to love at all costs. it’s human. it’s natural. it’s illogical, maybe. but it’s what we do for each other. because human beings even in our darkest hours cannot bear to live in the world without love. and god help any motherfuckers that stand in our way.

Silco is one of my Favourite character in arcane but ya no he is definitely a villain and I don't defend his actions what I will say though ( because people are always going on about these things )

Silco loved Jinx. It is confirmed and its also like.. obvious.

him defending her from sevika and ( according to sevika ) his entire crew who don't like her and can clearly see she'll be his downfall.

his reaction when he sees she is Hurt. *sobs*

the way he literally gets EVERYTHING HE HAS EVERY WANTED ON A SILVER FUCKING PLATTER and gives it all up because he didn't want to live without her *sobs harder*

Jinx KILLS him and his finally words are calling her perfect. ( he literally is dying. He knows that. There would be no point in lying to her. )

But he was not a good father. Even though I honestly think he believes the things he tells her and isn't actively trying to manipulate her. These are the two quotes that stand out.

eg) everyone betrays us

in fairness everyone he loved HAD betrayed him and from what jinx TELLS him, Vi betrayed her. ( ik Vi didn't actually betray her and it isn't her fault whatsoever. She was a child like ?!?. But it's what jinx believes and its what she TELLS him )

Eg) jinx is perfect

Jinx ( my other favourite character ) is by no means perfect. She's clearly insane and she's a full blown murderer. She is not perfect but she is to SILCO. ( again he is not right for thinking this way but he is clearly not mentally well either ) Silco isn't lying when he says this. He honestly thinks she's perfect.

( We also only see Silco lie to Jinx once. When he tells her Vi is only after the crystal. And that is done because he doesn't want to loose her because he loves her. A shitty thing to do. But nonetheless. )

Silcos goals are understandable. The way he goes about achieving them is not. Wanting the undercity to be free from Piltover is 100% justifiable. Piltover is extremely corrupt and like.. the worst. Its literally like the hunger games. Its just that going out on a murder spree isn't the way to achieve that yk.

( Also I can understand why silco murders vander but still... debatable. )

So ya in conclusion,

Silco is a VILLAIN.

Most of the shit he does is morally evil

However there are some things that people think about him that are just simply not true. I have alot more points but I'm tired.

Silco: *constantly lies to and manipulates Jinx, emotionally hurting her and exacerbating her mental illness*

Silco: *gets half the Undercity addicted to Shimmer for his own benefit*

do you think we'll get a love confession from mike to el in vol 2? it's weird to know what his perspective is bc he kinda seems weirdly detached. you don't think there's any actual chance of b*ler happening right?

I see the story being setup for Mike finally being able to say those 3 words to El. I can’t see why they’d have 3 seasons of development and have Mike so firmly say in s3 “I love her and I can’t lose her again” if he didn’t actually mean it. For whatever reason he is just scared to say it directly to El. As for B*yler, you have to remember there are people that watch this show who don’t care at all about the ships but they understand they’re part of the story. They know that Mileven is a big part of the story that is being told even if they don’t really care about their relationship, so how would it make sense to casual viewers for Mike to suddenly have feelings for Will when he has constantly shown how he feels for El and has shown nothing but friendship towards Will? He even says he wants to go back to being best friends in s4 because they kinda became distant. The only thing I can see happening is Will saying he has feelings for Mike but I don’t see B*yler officially happening.

If any B*ylers see this, please don’t send any hate. I’ll just block and delete.

So let me get this straight. Byler fans want El to come back from being traumatized and confronted with her past as a lab rat to this evil government man… only to be broken up with by her boyfriend so that he can go date her brother? That’s what ya’ll want? How bout you all just admit that you hate El and let’s go on with our day!

First of fucking all

1. Will goes missing on the 6th of November 1983. They find el in the woods on the 7th. Those are not the same fucking days. Ye either forgot that shit or ur blatantly lying.

Second of all

2. He does not say "omg my best day ever was around the time will went missing 💞💅" like ye are making it out to be. He is saying that's when his life started. Which is true. His life completely changed when el came into his life. That's when all the characters lives completely changed. Not that what he is saying is even about will which brings me to my next point.

3. This is literally not about will. Its about using words of affirmation to prevent the girl he loves from fucking dying.

Also another point mike has already stated that his best day was the day him and will became friends. Mike throughout the show states will is his best friend. He loves him. He is just not attracted to him in the way will or ye want him to be. So please stop spreading this bs everywhere cause I'm tired of correcting ye.
