I'm sorry for just barging in, but you know what I think would be cool? Electrical engineer/ construction worker Catwoman. It would explain how she knows buildings so well and the security involved and it adds a few more layers to her character. (Sense we never really see her work) This random headcanon/idea just popped into my mind and I thought I would share thank you and have a frabjous day/night!
the very first thought i had when i read this was injustice catwoman, which is one of my absolute favorite outfit designs for her that adds an enormous amount of personality to her suit that’s never there in the bland latex cat suits and pure acrobatics she usually gets:
and i think it would be a very, very good addition to her character to have a career like that and building her cat burglary get-up off of the skills she has through that, designing her own suit with functional equipment to help her get around, re-purposing things she already uses and knows how to handle well along with what might be her hobbies which probably include a lot of gymnastics and fighting skills to add onto that.
it would also give her a reason to know a lot of the same knowledge as other tech savvy rogues along WITH her excellent banter and people management skills (at least, that’s how i see her), which would put her pretty high up on the threatening powerhouse rogue list if she wanted to be up there. i would love a catwoman like this as part of the sirens!
H: Heat1. do they rather a hot or cold room?2. do they prefer summer or winter?3. do they like the snow?
[nomoreears]
Heat:
1. Cold, as Madeline sleeps with a lot of blankets all ready and dresses warmly anyway.
2. Summer!!! Give Madeline all the flowers, though Christmas wedding cakes and holiday cookies give her 'some' creativity
3. Madeline loves snow! It's pretty, soft, and gives Gotham a nice break from it's usual grey world.
say it with me
liking a character ≠ condoning their actions
understanding a character ≠ condoning their actions
relating to a character ≠ condoning their actions
never assume that only because someone likes/understands/relates to a character that they see this character as “perfect” and don’t recognise their flaws
As I did with Tetch I'll just be doing people he's normally associated with!
Edward Nygma: Friends
They don't hate eachother they can just get a bit tense at times. They both have similar taste in Music and clothing, but they're egos do clash at times. In Arkham they're usually grouped together in the whole "dork squad" so talkings only natural. (Especially when you have to choose between trying to talk to a stick bug and a short fantasy man)
Jonathan Crane: Introvert vs Extrovert
Jonathan will happily let Meister do whatever he wants but pull Jon in and oh boy. Jonathan is not Meisters show partner and Meister of course See's Jon as a complete bore.
Mary Dahl: We gotta do THE song
Sometimes they get along very well and it's fun to see/hear them preform together other times.... Divas man plan divas. Meister thinks Mary's adorable and had a great attitude and Mary thinks he's the perfect showman.
Clayface: the ___ were better
Classic movie watcher buddies, it may have taken Meister a while to watch Clayfaces movie, but hey it's smooth sailing (so far). Meister doesn't really care about Clayfaces appearance and doesn't mind it at all when he copy's him.
Batman: No singing
Batman always wears earplugs when fighting Meister. He's no fun.
@jonathan-cranes-mistress-of-fear happy birthday from your favorite Hare!
Ouch.
Well she had only been working for Tetch for about a year, besides she did more of the background stuff anyway. curtsying Hare introduced herself.
"I'm The March Hare, The Mad Hatters right hand lepus and permanent tea party attendee."
Dusting off her clothes of any excess powder left, she then began clearing a space for him, to sit.
"I'm assuming you wanted to speak with Tetch. Sadly, he's not here at the moment, but if you'd like you can wait here till he comes back. Would you like some tea?"
@themarchinghare
“Jervis? Are you here?” Music Meister poked his head through the doorway, looking around before stepping into the Hatter’s latest hideout. Between composing and organising his next ‘performance’, the maestro had grown bored and decided to visit his acquaintance. However he didn’t seem to be around at present.
He had his tongue partly out, curled up slightly as it stayed to the side of his lip. Focusing his deep maple gaze, upon the stripped newspaper configuration before him. He tilted his head from side to side; with his loose auburn curls scrunching to his face, to release with his movement and dance upon his shoulder again. All the while, his lengthy nimble fingers attended to his precious creation.
His handiwork was undoubtedly present, though the materials were lacking quite a bit. There was a small stack of newspapers laid before him, and a bucket of an odd mixture: glue, flower, and water; of which mocked the consistency of camel mucus. ‘Paste’ is what he was told lain before him.
Watching him work was something to be seen. Considering he didn’t seem phased by any of it, like that’s how he had made such things originally.
His brown orbs continued with deep concentration, as his delicate construction became more of a gentlemans formation. He made sure to keep all the pieces in their rightful places, and add extra glue upon the ends. Dunking his hand, or just a few fingers at times; into the paste, before returning again to the paper craft, before him.
Once the shape was then made, he stuffed some crinkled pages in the hollowed center, careful not to interfere with the delicately formed area. Flipping it then, right side up; he set it before him. Touching it up, here and there, as it dried slowly with in the air; attentively smoothing out spots that would crinkle, or applying glue to places that would lift or curl.
Then with his work finally completed and dry. He pulled the crinkled paper from the center, carful not to damage the surface made inside, and placed it atop his head with pride.
He then sat up straight, quite satisfied with himself; his hands were folded in front of him, and a smile cast like a cats mad grin.
He felt like himself once again.
after all,
how could one be a Hatter - without a hat of his own
"Thank you, you're too kind. In truth my skill set seems a tad limited, I mostly stay in the kitchen. He should have called me the cook."
Hare chuckled, Meister already appeared to be nice and easy company. It was quite clear to see why Tetch and him got along, shame he wasn't here yet.
"I'll go grab an assortment of teas for you to choose from, would you like any sweets to go with tea?"
Luckily March had learned long ago that with Tetch having water on boil at all times was a must.

🏹- For a talent they wish they had
"Better aim."
Madeline huffed annoyed.
"I don't want perfect aim but I'd like to be able to get close."
Exasperated Madeline threw her arms in the air.
"Do you have any idea how embarrassing it is to throw a baseball and somehow get it behind you?! I am convinced some invisible fairy or witch has hexed my arms. That way everything lands the farthest away from my target! I just don't get it? Step one, look at target. Step two bend arm back. Step three throw. HOW DO I FAIL AT THAT! I swear I know how to throw! I get the concept, but why. Why am I so bad."
