working on a redfinch fic where albert skateboards and he meets finch by fucking running directly into him by accident

thinking about spot teaching race how to lead a borough in preparation for jack moving out.

spot offering for just a little more time with race, and because he never had that help himself, because he was afraid once, and finally spot has something of value to share.

race accepting because with jack on the way out nothing is certain but this boy he met during the strike who’s a little sharp and a little mean but committed to the strike so fully, and race wants someone who won’t back down from him.

anyway i’m writing a fic for this pls ask me about it so i stay motivated to finish it

The gang played truth or dare once and it ended with Dally in jail, a potential rumble between them and the Shepard gang, Ponyboy admitting to smoking pot with Curly underneath the school bleachers, and Darry drunkenly confessing to the gang his torrid love affair with Paul

taking boots out of the bway version fundamentally changed the dynamic of the newsies and i miss boots every time i watch it #in my boots era

David working on a song (Always the mouthpiece, the poet, but until he meets Jack he cannot put those words into action, and until he loses Jack he can’t find the power to voice them on his own)

Jack giving in to death (Jack scabbing, he sees David’s dream but can’t deliver on his end for one reason or another)

Davey going to drag Jack out of hell (He sees the dark place Jack are in and offers him hope, this is literally the watch what happens reprise)

Davey leading Jack out of the underworld because he loves him, so much, too much, and he has to look back because a world where Jack isn’t with him isn’t one he ever wants (Davey trying to lead the strike without Jack, unwilling to speak without Jack’s words)

Jack following, content with nothing but the trail Davey leads (literally the entire movie)

Like has anyone written this and if so gimme gimme. The parallels are insane and I'm yearning for it.
