Almost 1K words in the "Chrissy Cunningham/Eddie Munson" tag on AO3!!! Started reading when there was just a couple hundred and it's been awesome seeing the numbers grow everyday and all the new fics!
Can we please appreciate Odysseus being a silent stalker in the shadows, taking out suitors with his bow, not deigning to speak to them as he takes them out one by one
until some of them go "we have to strike him in the darkness too! we know the halls of this palace! the odds can be tilted!"
and Odysseus, built this palace with his very hands, has to step out of the shadows like "are you this fucking stupid"
This is so amazing!!!
I tried book binding and embroidered a cover! I love my tiny book very much ๐ฟ

๐๐๐๐๐๐:ย BBCโs Merlin ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐: Merlin/Emrys x Arthur Pendragon ๐๐๐๐:ย Complete | M | 39 Chapters | 207.7K Words
๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ : For many long years Merlin waited.
For the other part of his soul, for the other half of his life. He was born to serve Arthur. So that meant he was also born to wait. Even if it took a thousand years. Even if the wait seemed never to end.
Until one day, suddenly, it did.
When Arthur stumbles from the Lake of Avalon 1,500 years after his death, he finds a world unlike the one he knew. Faced with the loss of everyone he loved, and the threat of impending prophecy, Arthur must learn what it means to be not just a king, but the Once and Future King. Merlin does all he can to guide him, even as he struggles to hide his love for his king, and his fear of losing him again.
๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐: This was the fic that introduced me to Merthur. I kinda shipped them together but not very much before reading this but now I honestly canโt imagine not shipping them. This fic may seem long and intimidating but it is worth it and the writing is so amazing that it feels like canon as season six. It is a must read for any Merthur fan but I would even recommend it to those who donโt ship them.
Second year in a row Stray Kids has been my top top artist in my Spotify wrapped!
I'm organizing my downloaded fanfic files and when I go to the original page it's so sad because I'm discovering that so many have been deleted.
I AM SO HAPPY AND PROUD OF HIM!!!!
omg!!!

Excerpts from the podcast Making Gay History, S04E07: Reed Erickson.
โHe was really accepted in society, both for his relationships with women and his transition, which is really interesting when you think about the 1960s. There were very few people who could so openly and publicly transition, let alone maintain multiple marriages.โ
โThe influence of the Erickson Educational Foundation cannot be stressed enough. We today would not have trans health care, period, without the funding and the information provided by the Erickson Educational Foundation.โ
โIt was the first organisation in the world that actually provided support and information to trans people, both through its newsletters and publications as well as an in-person office where people could call or drop in to receive information.โ
โEssentially, the framework that trans rights organisations use today in terms of collecting resources by area and distributing them to trans people in need, is based off the work of the Erickson Educational Foundation. So without that, the modern trans movement as we know it would not exist.โ

Trans history involves a fabric of people across generations and cultures. Many trans stories have been erased, particularly trans male contributions, in favour of the myth that Stonewall rioting was the single galvanising event responsible for all progress.
Remember:
Stonewall was vitally important, but LGBT+ activism existed before then, too. To think otherwise is to erase the hard work done by the full spectrum of LGBT+ people.
Erasing trans male history further isolates modern-day trans men, and perpetuates the myth that we have never been involved with our own communities. Erasing cis gay and lesbian history perpetuates the myth that our communities have never overlapped, or acted as allies to one another. If youโre passionate about Stonewall, for example, I suggest you educate yourself about Stormรฉ DeLarverie, AKA โthe gay communityโs Rosa Parksโ. She instigated the uprising.

I drew Katara! :D I AM CURRENTLY OPEN FOR COMMISSIONS
Just finished episode 10 and WOW. I swear if we don't get a season 2 I will riot.
Honestly, I still can't belive Stede and Ed kissed on screen. INSANE. And the ending! I loved how Stede did resolve everything with his family and left on better terms this time around. You can tell he's really starting to embrace being a pirate.
And the scene where Stede and Mary talk about being in love and he says Ed's name and HE. Then the hug. LOVED IT.
The "breakup" between Ed and Stede was also nuts. Ed really goes through the whole breakup process from mourning (the robe!) to rage. (If Lucius is actually dead I will be so pissed.) It was actually cool to see him go all badass. Tho it's still weird seeing him with no beard.
Watched all 8 episodes of Our Flag Means Death yesterday. I really loved it. I'm such a sucker for historical shows. And you know, GAY PIRATES!!!!
Funny enough, I started watching because it trended on Tumblr.
And I totally ship Ed and Stede.
