Thanks for the tag! Of course when I wanna write a fun fact about myself I forget all knowledge immediately.

My fun fact is that I’m making a Ghostbusters fan comic! I’ve been making it since April of last year and I’m currently on page 18, and I’ve used it as a good way to show how my art style and storytelling skills have improved. The two original Ghostbusters movies read like a DND campaign.

Like that fucking marshmallow guy fight. Venkmann constantly trying to seduce everything in sight. The unhinged energy. The interactions with authority figures. The vibe that they have some sort of inside joke going on with whatever higher power runs this universe.

Don’t you love having a perfect idea at 12 am and being scared that you’ll lose it so you immediately have to write it down at that exact moment?

That’s me, I did that. I wrote like six pages on an OC’s backstory before I realized it was one am and I really needed to go to bed 😭

Some Gravity Falls merchandise that will be available at San Diego Comic Con later in July!

UCC Distributing will have some Gravity Falls merch available at SDCC. To date, what they've shown is: 18" Dipper and Mabel plushes (for $30 each), and a set of 10 figures called "Disney DOORABLES".

The DOORABLES will be sold (for $30) as a single set in a Mystery Shack-shaped box. They are 1.5" high, have glitter eyes, and chibi proportions. The list of characters is: Dipper, Mabel, Grunkle Stan, Wendy, Soos, Bill Cipher, Pacifica, Gideon, Waddles, and Steve the Rainbow-Puking Gnome.

It's unclear whether any of this will be available outside of SDCC. The SDCC Unofficial Blog twitter responded to someone saying they would ONLY be available at SDCC. But TMofGF seems to think that there's a possibility they might get offered online later. We'll see! (For sure, they'll probably be available at jacked-up prices on eBay after the convention.)

Mondo has launched a line of The Real Ghostbusters 1:12 scale action figures with Peter Venkman, Samhain, and Slimer. Priced at $202, the exclusive, timed edition set is available until November 26 and is expected to ship in May 2025.

Venkman stands 6.5" and comes with two heads (neutral and serious), four hands (gloved and ungloved), proton pack with particle thrower wand, attachable particle stream, and ghost trap, swappable trap cartridge with mini Samhain.

Samhain stands 8.5" and comes with three heads (standard, black eyes, evil smile) and four hands. Slimer stands 3.5". The PVC toys are designed and sculpted by Alex Brewer.
