where? the faerie queen’s forest boundary, the fog
when? right after the thread where wade let’s robin be stabbed
Robin had miscalculated the deepness of the wound, when she had left the clearing and Wade behind. She had thought it possible for her to reach one of the border settlements, perhaps even find a healer before it’s too late. She is proven wrong near her destination, when her legs give out under her and she collapses into a heap of flowers. A groan leaves her lips as she does, the movement pulling at the open wound and causing fresh blood to flow from it. She needs help, and quickly, lest she bleeds out and gives another soldier to the Drow Queen. Determination burns through her veins as she begins to pull herself across the ground, unwilling to give up and admit defeat. She doesn’t have to go far, she finds out, as a familiar presence enters the vicinity and relief sweeps through her. Hazy brown eyes look up to meet Meryasek’s and she gives him a bloody smile of relief.
“Mery,” she manages to gasp out throughout the blood, one hand coming to her stomach to press against the wound. “Help.”
"We die, we die and so we must live," Robin mutters under her breath as her eyes fall upon her liege and King, returned from the shadows without looking worse to wear. The rumors of Thanatos vacation had reached her hears, so she had hoped for the miracle her people deserved, but never thought it possible. Not when Fortuna had turned away from them over the last year. And yet, here she finds herself, witnessing her wildest hopes come true. It had been a wonderful daydream, to hear the word of mouth of his return, but she had needed confirmation with her own eyes. Stepping from the shade, the Autumn Chancellor falls to one knee and bows her head on her fealty. "The Drow Court has been awfully quiet since the end of the Midsommar festivities," she informs him softly, head kept down and voice firm. This is Mery, her friend, her king, and she will give him the proper respect he is owed. Even when her very essence asks her to reach out and bring him into a hug. To ensure he is there and not a mirage conjured to mock her kind. "Aside from that, I have been fully confirmed as the Autumn Chancellor. The Múkēs Holt is yours to use as you see fit. Additionally, I prepared a little gift for the Senate, in case they turn their eyes our way."

Meryasek had done a bit of redecorating. His magic had ended with his "life", so he had to hum his song and bring back the wards and fortifications that went through the forest. Now, no one would enter or leave without him knowing. His sprite was back, a little hummingbird that would be made of hellfire, a new beginning as he mourned the one he had lost and had for so long. A presence was behind him now, and he stood up, his true form still hidden. He hadn't done much explaining, but he supposed people had questions. "You look well. Did I miss much?"

A contemplative mood falls upon the small table she has gotten for herself on the corner of the coffee shop, a cup of tea settled in front of her as she ponders at the window. It’s not her court that worries her now, not the Senate nor the drows. Not even the Eye, despite the task she had been assigned by the other chancellors. Instead, she is reminiscing, allowing herself to feel the grief that had clogged on her chest after the period of mourning. The change from a carefree livestyle to taking up the responsibilities of Chancellor had been drastic, allowing her little to no time to grieve those departed. Robin is not crying, not quite, but those who know her will notice the slight shine of her eyes as she looks at the window, the unusual somber air that follows her.
She is reaching towards her cup when someone slides on the chair in front of her, bringing her back from her contemplation as she raises her eyes and presents one of her favorite mortals with the facsimile of a smile.
“What do I owe the pleasure?”
"Autumn is quite alluring, is it not?" Robin replies with a delight as she takes her time taking in the drow's appearance. There is no denying that he quite suits his clothes, his mask adding a particular allure to the entire ensemble. Bringing her class of champagne to her lips, she drinks slowly while maintaining eye contact, a grin decorating her lips as she brings the glass down. She can't quite remember why she should be avoiding drows, not when easy flirtations are fun. "Although, I have to say that is not quite as alluring as the tall, dark, and handsome."

"You know, I was a spring fey back in my last life," Severon said, sparking up a conversation with the gorgeous looking woman in garb that screamed autumn. It reminded him of Yavie. And the more he thought of it, the more strange it seemed that he was speaking to any fey that wasn't that little noble but there he was. He couldn't seem to remember why he shouldn't be speaking to her. Severon had always been a fan of flirtation. "But I've got to say, I'm acquiring an affinity for autumn."

"I hear you can now be considered a DILF," she mentions, raising one of the glasses she is carrying to offer to the princeling. Is she mildly irritated that he is walking around when his daughter is nearby? Sure, but it's not the kids fault, and she doubts Farenduil realizes how privileged he is to have the right to meet his children. She will have to warn him about the Eyes movements at some point, though, what with their interest in halfblooded blood and all that jazz. "Congratulations are in order, Faren. Or should I call you daddy?"
She had no intentions of doing so, but she is curious to see his reaction.
The heart is an arrow. It demands aim to land true.
"No need to thank me for the barest of courtesies, Fire Bearer," Robin waves off his thanks as she flips through another page on her book. It had been a while since she had reacquainted herself with Laer's travels, and with the Otherworld in disarray, she thought it better to brush over the possible dangers. "Nor do you owe me anything for wanting to remember and avoid repeating the mistakes you once did." Still, she closes her book and glances at him thoughtfully. "Although, my court will not say no to a few history lessons. Our elders might have survived, but their perspective of the Elvhen Empire likely differs to yours, and it is better to know all sides to the equation."

Reliving the memories that he wanted to keep tangible was not enjoyable. But he had asked for this, he had wanted them and the Dusk Chancellor had been kind of enough to let him into Audele. "Thank you, Chancellor," Prometheus murmured, coming out of the room where the elves had helped him collect his memories. "I don't ask for charity; if there's anything I can do to repay you... my mother was a dusk elf. I'd be glad to lend a hand to the new elves here."
