Sometimes when people on the Internet are like "ADULTS CAN NEVER INTERACT WITH MINORS IT'S CREEPY" I remember how, at 12, back in 1997, I was on the Witchvox forums with people ranging from me to people in at least their 50s, and no one there was ever a creep to me, no one ever made me feel uncomfortable or asked for my personal info, and when I finally broke down after a particularly brutal day of bullying at school and posted about it they were the first adults I'd ever met in my entire life who told me the bullies were the problem and it was okay to be angry about it.

Kids need to interact with adults who will listen to them.

That's fair. They did seem odd to have.

I noticed that your "funny letters explainer" includes Wynn and Yogh, although you don't seem to be using those in your more recent posts. Did you decide to stop using them, or did you just forget?

I stopped usiŋ ðose two. It was gettiŋ too unintelligible.

Life is not being fun to me right now.

I haven't slept well in days, I probably have ADHD, I'm stressed out because I want to buy a telescope but there's so much stuff to it and my parents just take it chill and don't care about the complexities, I miss my friends, I barely get to talk to people, and I'm losing people with each passing year and I never know how to get back in touch with them, my parents argue a lot, the whole family is disorganised and nobody talks to each other, I've got a pimple behind my ear that's annoying me, I'm scared of using Acne Cream because it requires daily use and I don't know if I'm up to that and the side effects concern me, and nothing feels like it matters anymore.

I just wish I could run away and see everyone again. And stay in touch with them. And just be happy with them forever.

Too true. Parents look to their children for flaws, not to themselves. They watch their kids never ask for help, not knowing how to, and get scolded for it, when the parents either don't ask for help themselves, or never actually need to, so the kids never learn to ask for help.

im so done with seeing articles about kids and screen time that doesnt mention parent behaviors even once. “kids are always on their phones” so are the parents! which the kids look to for how they should behave! ipad babies didn’t chose to only play on their ipads, thats what their parents gave them!

an anecdotal example: when i was a kid, all my parents would do in their minimal free time was watch tv and then they would be surprised when in my sister and i’s minimal free time we would also only watch tv/play video games. they scolded us for not reading books, but they never read books. they scolded us for not going outside but they never went outside.

“kids are always on their damn phones” my mom is in her 60s and opens up candy crush anytime she’s sitting — it isnt just the kids

I've been seeing a lot about the Israel conflict with Hamas and the atrocities both sides are committing, so I guess I'll put my take out there. I know this isn't like my usual "silly haha" or "cool thing" content, but I'll resume that eventually.

CW: Personal opinions about a bloody conflict with many civilian deaths.

Personally, I support Palestine. Not Hamas. Palestine.

This is a country that the target resides in, and therefore gets blown to bits. Unlike Pakistan, they're not even providing shelter to Hamas (TMK), but Israel continues to attack civilian targets, and keeps saying "Oh, Hamas has moved to the south, so we need to attack there," whilst they kill civilians along the way.

I'm not even advocating for Hamas. Hamas is a terrorist organisation who has committed several atrocities themselves. They deserve to die. They deserve to be killed for their actions. But it should not come at the cost of innocent lives.

As always in wartimes, this is a complex situation. Neither side is morally right, nor morally wrong, depending on your perspective. But there is no denying the basic facts.

Palestine did nothing (recent) to provoke Israel to kill civilians. And both Israel and Hamas, which is not Palestine, have committed atrocities.

But hey! It's a religious war between Christians! And I'm in the Cult of the Satanic Temple! Who am I to judge them?

I'm someone who stands for civil liberties, that's who.

It's very funny to me that the stereotypical gelatinous cube is bright fucking green when the monster itself is almost perfectly transparent. Like its gimmick is that it's a monster that imitates an empty 10x10 hallway. How many people have fallen victim to gelatinous cubes because they "know" that the ooze is bright green and so don't bother to check the suspiciously clean corridor in front of them.

dem legs

From left to right, it is three iterations of my art style for Ralsei over 550+ days of drawing him in his regular hatless overworld outfit (green rimmed glasses, pink scarf with 4 big tassels, green dress with heart shaped hole, dark green long sleeves underneath). Over time, he got fluffier ears and thicker legs and bigger feet. He also has light pink leg warmers in the most recent version.

ralsevolution (550+ days of drawing him) he got fluffier and warmer (leg warmer edition) :3

I just want to say: Moses had some fine lips in Prince of Egypt. They looked f i n e. They looked like the pillow versions of lips. Like pillowy thighs, but lips. They looked like desaturated Lip lollies and I'm all for it.
