I’ve been starting to hear and see God more lately simply by asking Him to open up my eyes and ears to see Him more. It’s as simple as asking because when we ask, we receive. 

you are going to feel so much love and devotion it’s going to scare you. you aren’t used to being the object of so much tenderness; and maybe you don’t even think you deserve it. but you do. you know you do. embrace it with open arms and let it wash over you.

When you realize that no matter how pretty you look on the outside it won’t help if your heart is ugly. Let God transform your heart :)
