Whump moments with your favs. If that’s not you jam, alternatively, you may show us the moments they care about each other.

Are your favs social distancing these days? Or is it, “ Personal space? What space?”

Day 6: “Nectar Like Lips”// “Whisper My Name”

Did they kiss? They are about to kiss? They are on first-name basis? Their interactions give you tingles?

Day 7: “Crazy in Love”

Tell us what they mean to you, and why you ship them. Use a song, quote, or any scene you think sheds a light on the essence of their relationship.

Day 2: “Damn Your Eyes”

Is it a stolen glance, seductive gaze, or shameless stare which makes your heart beat faster?

Two scenes jump to mind.

The first is from 2.22. Liz went to Tom for help and instead of running to save himself, he stayed to help her. I think Liz was always in love with Tom, always knew him, but I think she realized it in increments over the course of S2 and S3. This was one of those moments when she realized that all she wanted was him. He was home.

The second is from 3.17 just before their second wedding. I love the way she’s teasing him, how she misquotes Lewis Carroll to him, and just how much they love each other in that moment. She didn’t need perfect. She had him.

Day 5: “Come on closer...”

Let me begin by saying that this is a crossover pairing. I’d also like to say that I ship Reddington and Snape platonically. While I can see Sev getting together with a man, I can’t see that for Red. Besides, friendship is so underrated! It can be stronger than romance at times.

The similarities between Severus and Red are significant. Both of them are broken, damaged men who happen to be close in age (Severus is only a month older than Red, his birthday being January 9th, 1960). They both hide behind masks of confidence, whether it’s negative or positive. They both carry a lot of pain within themselves that they don’t dare share with others. They’re both immensely afraid of being vulnerable. Lastly — and most importantly — they’re both living in a state of purgatory.

They’re both morally gray.

Both of them have done utterly reprehensible things, and yet, they both have a deep sense of humanity. They’d certainly bond over their trauma if they ever met.

The difference between the two is that Red isn’t shy about telling people how he feels. Sev, on the other hand, uses Occlumency to prevent himself from feeling at all. There are moments when Severus’s rage is unleashed, but those are one-offs. That difference could balance out the dynamic quite nicely. Red would definitely be intrigued by the mystery of Severus, and using his abilities with charming small talk, he’d be able to draw a response from Sev.

These two would keep their distance, since I believe that Severus is sensitive to touch. He’s described as being twitchy, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he got a panic attack at the prospect of a hug. Red would have to learn that, though, since touch is literally his love language. But they’d be able to keep their friendship nonetheless, since neither of them are quitters.

A funny thing I’d like to think is that Red would be extremely drawn to Severus’s magic. He would definitely take Sev’s wand and examine it before asking Sev to perform some spells. Red would be absolutely enamored by the spell-casting. He’d be curious to learn about the Wizarding world and how witches and wizards operate.

Here’s an art piece I drew for my crossover fic on Sev and Red, Living in Purgatory. It’s the opening scene of the first chapter, where Red introduces himself in a similar way to how he introduced himself to Anne. If you’d like to read Living in Purgatory, you can find it on FFN and AO3.

FUN FACT: James Spader and Alan Rickman were actually in a film together. The film was Bob Roberts, a political comedy released in 1992. However, Spader and Rickman didn’t share any scenes since Spader’s appearance was a cameo as a news anchor.

Day 4: The Things You Do Aren’t Good For My Health/I’ll Take Care of You

He wakes up to the intense burn of a florescent light. His eyes sting against the glare, piercing straight through his skull, and it takes a long time before he can properly see through the blurring pain.

The machine next to him is incessantly beeping, making the growing headache spike. Hospital. What the hell am I doing in a hospital?

The tubes catch on his arms as he tries to get up, but sudden strong hands are on him, holding him down, gently but firmly. Something is wrong, he doesn’t know what, but something is very wrong.

“Donald, please calm yourself.” A man with a hat is standing next to him. His eyes betray a level of intense exhaustion, but they are filled up with worry and kindness. His doctor?

“You were in an accident.” He comes to sit next to him on the bed, his smile a little relieved. “I’m glad you’re awake,” The man glides a gentle hand over his forehead and briefly into his hair, making him shudder, “You got hurt while saving my life, remember? Typical,” there is a sweet fondness in his voice, “But the doctor’s say you’re going to be fine.”

He shakes his head violently, ignoring the pain. “No…” he struggles again, “… wrong… no.”

Again, strong hands hold him down firmly – he spares a glance to the tall black man next to him and his heart contracts again.

The kind man pushes himself close, grabbing his face in both hands, forcing him to look him in the eye, His expression is fiercely compassionate, but growing with worry. “Donald, just breathe, and tell me what is wrong.”

He blinks, feeling the slide of tears slip into his hair, “Don’t know… “he shakes his head, “Don’t know who I am.”

The expression falls slack, all the softness and compassion shattered in an instant, revealing only a horrible look of surprise and sharp pain. He has the terrible urge to apologize, to at least try and remove that look utter devastation.

When the man finally pulls away, he is already firing off orders to the few others in the room - and there is the doctor, and probably a nurse. 

He turns on his side, trying to block out all the noise, he curls up and desperately tries to remember who he is. ____ A/N: I’ve always wanted to write an amnesia fic, but it never comes out the way I want - the whole point of reading a paring is to see their interactions. When one has amnesia, then it kinda defeats the purpose, because that individual isn’t himself anymore. So you’re technically writing an OC with another character XD Anyway, a short drabble is a good way to get it out of my system. Thanks for reading! :)
