Ok look
Buck wanted to learn Muay Thai, Eddie knows Muay Thai...
Eddie decides to teach Buck to let off some steam and it gets to a point where one pins the other to the ground and they pause because of the ✨sexual tension✨
AND BEFORE THEY START EDDIE SAYS "YOU WANT TO GO FOR THE TITLE?"
THEY'RE FIGHTING OH MY FUCKING GOD THEY'RE FIGHTING
Another song they can put in the background for when Buddie becomes canon.
Theory that will probably not happen:
From what we are able to see, Eddie most likely hasn't been intimate since he found out about the nun thing. He will obviously be losing the two women he's been seeing and will probably be so pent up emotionally and sexually. Buck will be with him as he watches Christopher leave with his parents and try to comfort him with a hug and "what do you need from me?"
Eddie doesn't think about his actions as soon as he hears those words and just kisses Buck with all he's got. He breaks the kiss and says "remember when you said that you wished you could help? Well now's your chance." And the season ends.
Ok but what if after the bachelor party, Buck and Eddie are in their hotel room wasted and they start talking about how Tommy got Buck to realize his sexuality. He mentions the kiss and Eddie is absolutely not thinking and goes "can you show me?" and without hesitation Buck grabs his chin and is about to do it before stopping (or he actually does it you decide) which starts the domino effect of them realizing those feelings.
WHAT IF
Instead of Eddie saying "my best friend", he really wanted to say "my partner", "my co parent", "the one I love to the core"
I don't know if anyone else said this but in my sociology class we were learning how there were words in different languages that mean specific gestures and such. One word came up that made me think of Buddie. Mamihlapinatapai which from what I searched up means "To look at each other, hoping that either will offer to do something, which both parties much desire done but are unwilling to do."
I think they both know their romantic feelings for one another but haven't had the time to really think and act on it. They may sometimes try to tell the other through their actions like bumping shoulders or through their facial expressions like staring into each other's eyes with so much love. But it really isn't the time for either to verbally express how they feel as one is always having to deal with a traumatic experience.
Let me tell you all that I screamed bloody murder and scared my younger siblings after that scene.... I just....
I don't know why, but during the scene when Buck came out to Eddie, the way Eddie's face was made me think he was going to reveal that Tommy took him on a date too. Or something along the lines of "he kissed me after our night out". I'm probably just going crazy while waiting three weeks but that's what I saw.
The surprise visit is actually Eddie with flowers and a teddy bear finally confessing his feelings for Buck so jot that down
People probably already talked about this but the YouTube channel that was for 9-1-1 is now for 9-1-1 Lone Star
