Better safe than sorry!
This I second and third!
I have a headcannon that this Joker doesnt tolerate women or children being harrassed or abused. Anyone being harrassed for that matter.
If Joker saw a man telling a woman to acknowledge him, or to smile at him, Joker would warn the man to back the fuck off. If the man didn't, Joker casually shoots the guy.
If any blood gets on the girl, he'd offer his handkerchief to her.
If Joker sees a trans person being beaten, he doesn't even bother to threaten. He shoots the assailants without question.
Anyways, I just really love this idea of Joker being a vigilante of justice against sexual harrassment of any kind. 💜💜💜
I hereby pronounce that I am madly in love with this movie. No takesies-backsies!
Joker (2019)
Same. It helps me a lot during exams and when feeling especially down.
In the past 5 years of my life, from like, 28 to now 33 years old, I use the character I'm in love with as my 'imaginary friend' as it where.
I talk to them about my current struggles through my self hate/depression/fears throughout my waking hours. When I'm having a really bad day at work, I feel them standing or walking beside me, usually squeezing my hand.
I go to bed with them laying next to me, imagining them making sure I sleep and don't cry too much.
They give me encouragement throughout the day, like, 'You can do this.' 'I'm right here with you.' 'I know this hurts but it will pass.' 'You're beautiful to me.'
They tell me not to throw up my meals when the temptation is high, and to not think I'm fat and ugly as I fight back my eating disorder.
In the past it was Loki or Thor, and now it's Arthur Fleck.
He's right there with a smile and magic trick when I'm in tears, or a hug and gentle kiss when I'm feeling so disgusted with myself.
He calls me 'Sweetheart'
I just wondered if anyone else uses the characters they currently adore like this. 💜

Could you pls not call me out like that
Ever since I saw Joaquin Phoenix as Joker:
The more concepts people add, the more advanced the difficulty level gets
Dildo Generator
Online 3D experiment by Ikaros Kappler which is described as a “Extrusion/Revolution Generator” ….
Created with three.js, you can alter the bezier curves and angle of the form, and is designed with 3D printing in mind (models can be exported and saved, as well as calculated weight in silicone).
Try it out for yourself (if you wish) here
My right brain is too dominant for this
Left brain: Joker is a very interesting character. Arthur Fleck is a man who suffers from severe depression, and hallucinations. Still, he tries to make the world laugh. But the world keeps torturing him, and he’s finally pushed over the edge. The movie shows how a hopeful Arthur Fleck turns into a madman, the Joker. Joaquin Phoenix is an amazing actor, and I’m sure he’ll do an amazing job at portraying the psychotic man.
Right brain: I WANT THE JOKER TO ABSOLUTELY RUIN ME. WHAT A CLOWN DADDY HONESTLY
Don't break my heart like this 😭💓

These are just too good
I feel like Arthur would be a really good father
- he has experience in caring for another person because of Penny. He seemed to be gentle with her, and even when he got upset after finding out Wayne might be his father, he quickly managed to calm himself down. That’s something that would be really useful when parenting
- he said “they were just kids” after a group of young people attacked him and left massive bruises on his back. He understands young people are immature and do stupid things, and he didn’t seem to hold a grudge. All kids will hurt their parents at some point, its inevitable, but it’s important that the parent can forgive it and guide their way. I think Arthur would be capable of doing that
- he seems to like kids and he’s really good at entertaining them. The way he made the kid on the bus laugh, his little magic performance for Bruce and the “if you’re happy if you know it...” performance at a children’s hospital prove that
- although Gary isn’t a child, I still felt like Arthur’s (wicked) gentleness towards him was a little bit parental. The way he jump scared him just for giggles’ sake made me think that he’d love pranking his kid once they’re a teenager
- I also noticed he let go of Alfred at the gate once he saw Bruce was watching. This combined with the earlier mentioned “they were just kids” made me think that he has strong morals when it comes to kids? Idk how to explain
- one of the major things he’s upset about is how people lack empathy and are assholes to one another. That’s why I feel like it’d be important for him to raise a kind child and teach them the importance of helping others
Feel free to add more!
