Posted this on my twitter but thought I'd share here too and add some fun little context !
When Ryan was signing he started telling me about an ice-cream place in LA called Jenny's and then kinda stopped and said "I'm not sure why I just told you that little fun fact " -- told him I'd check it out if I was ever in LA (and I will !)
Before Shane signed he asked me where I stood on the Boogara-Shaniac scale. I told him that mentally I'm a Shaniac but as soon as I enter a spooky place I become a Boogara because I get scared of everything. He told me that he thought that made me more of a Boogara but then wrote that, making me an official Shaniac (I'm surprised he didn't revoke my card)
I made them pins and bracelets, one of which said History Lizard, and that made Ryan laugh
I didn't give them the pins and stuff when I took my picture with them, I waited until everyone had gone. I took the stuff out of my bag and just kinda stood there cause I got super shy about it but Shane noticed and came up to me. Thanks Shane :')
Ryan's favorite color is purple fyi
they are so real for this
author!percy in greek gods and greek heroes is everything actually. annabeth or his other friends peeking over his shoulder and making comments, which he includes in the book cause he loves them so much. his publisher bribing him with unlimited blue food to make another book. him writing the books in the first place even though he was dyslexic but because he genuinely want "us" to learn from his mistakes. him randomly being like "oooh this reminds me of jason" "oooh this reminds me of annabeth". percy in chalice of the gods just joking about autocorrect.
author!percy guys, author!percy. did I mention how much I love author!percy?
your honor i love them

Losing my mind at these pics ajdjsjjd
“i hope you’re sitting down, but…i think…i’ve made some friends here. like, real friends. i think they might really like me. imagine that.” and he’s talking about luke castellan i’m gonna throw up
I am so happy that Percy is a criminal in live action as well. Does it serve anything to the plot? Doubtful. It does, however, serve in building Percy's reputation as a goddamn MENACE and I'm here for it
