Freddie studied graphic art and design at Ealing Technical College and School of Art, graduating in 1969.
Brian studied Mathematics and Physics at Imperial College London, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics in 1968 with honours. In 2007, he was awarded a PhD in astrophysics from Imperial College London for work started in 1971 and completed in 2007.

SAY IT LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK
I think that “Liar” is the song that highlights Queen’s playing/singing skills to the fullest extent. You wanna talk about Freddie’s vocals? He is absolutely amazing both in the studio version and live, giving his heart and soul when he’s singing. You wanna talk about Roger’s drum solo in the beginning of the song and in the acapella part? He’s totally killing it, putting his whole passion right into his drum kit. You wanna talk about Brian’s unprecedented guitar solo? This melody can only get stuck into your mind after hearing it once. You wanna talk about John’s solo too? They were right about calling him the band’s secret weapon, this guy has a unique energy inside him, that passes to his bass riffs and make this song even better. What about that majestic 1:20 minute long intro? The harmonies they all make when they sing together? Liar was also Queen’s first track that is more than 6 minutes long, so we can consider this song as their first masterpiece.
