Saw @nocontextgoodplace posted this and I couldn't help it
“When we came to make Zombies, Run!, I deliberately put a line in the very first mission, when you, Runner Five, are just arriving at Abel Township, the tiny, shivering remnant of humanity left after the zombie apocalypse. I had one of the characters say: “If you can move above a slow shamble, we can use you.” Why? Because I am so sick and tired of the best and nicest exercise-based treats being reserved for people who are already in peak physical shape, and I’m sick of the notion that having fun while exercising is something you have to earn; that, until you look a certain way, moving ought to be boring and unpleasant if not outright painful. Your body is there right now. You did not have to earn a thing. It is a gift. You are a hero every time you step out of your front door to do some exercise.”

There’s No Morality in Exercise: I’m a Fat Person Who Made a Successful Fitness App — Matter — Medium (via brutereason)
This is one of the reasons I love Zombies Run! so much. I can’t run. Even if I want to, I physically can’t. Some days I barely move above a shamble. Some days I can’t walk without debilitating pain at all. I can be Runner 5 on the good days. I get a workout, and I’m not worried about losing X number of calories or fitting a size Y dress.
It’s freeing. And it’s wonderful to know someone who isn’t in physical peak condition can be a hero.

*sips tea* it's dumb crossovers time
I guess here King Arthur was a real dude who became legend after his death (in which demons and angels might have been involved). Our heroes now have a mystery to solve, with the help of a certain sorcerer.......

As requested, here is a basic guide for how to draw Indigenous peoples (mostly focused on North America)! Also please note that this is not an exhaustive list of Native American phenotypes/features, and more like an intro on very common features that can be found in us, and even then, not altogether at once on a single person’s face. I highly encourage the use of references and care taken into research when drawing. I may do a part 2 that goes slightly more into depth, but for now, enjoy part one.
Resouces:
How to draw Native Skin tutorial (don’t draw us red!)
List of Native American Celebrities, which include their tribe(s) and home country, with 1,250 names, to use for your referencing pleasure
How to draw black people by Peachdeluxe, & Black hair in depth by misslaney for mixed black Natives
How to draw East Asian People, a guide by Chuwenjie, for mixed Asian Natives AND because it includes a lovely tutorial on monolid eyes, a shared feature of Native people
get drawin!!
Hunger Games is trending again LET'S GOOO !!!
"It's Not Over Until the Mockingjay Sings."
"I'm a couple of days into the plan, making good progress, when something unexpected happens. I begin to sing. At the window, in the shower, in my sleep. Hour after hour of ballads, love songs, mountain airs. All the songs my father taught me before he died. [...] My voice, at first rough and breaking on the high notes, warms up into something splendid. A voice that would make the mockingjays fall silent and then tumble over themselves to join in." - Suzanne Collins, Mockingjay (pg. 376)
In which Lucy Gray Baird comes as an apparition to Katniss in her sleep. Set during her solitary confinement after killing Interim President Coin, thus ending the cycle of tyranny in Panem.
***Content Warning: Fictional depiction of blood stains/ bullet wounds under the cut*** Unfortunately I'm a Lucy Gray Baird was killed by Snow truther :(
Edit: Redid this piece since there were some parts of it that I wasn't completely happy with, but I love how it turned out now :)
