if you haven't seen a movie where he’s the good guy/gets a love interest, you could watch The Crime of Dr. Crespi! He’s one of the good guys of the movie, and he’s implied to get a pretty nurse gf at the end (he playfully/flirtatiously asks her “So, are you free later tonight?” or smth and she smiles and goes “oh, Dr. Thomas…” in an embarrassed yet def interested voice)

Just thinking now that Dwight Frye is one of the prettiest human beings I’ve ever had the pleasure of laying eyes on. Every single thing about him gives me butterflies!

And then Hollywood proceeds to cast him in roles where they purposefully try to make him look creepy or unattractive. Were they BLIND?!!
