now that i think about it i like having more chapters because it’s easier to find a place to stop i tend to read fics at night when i’m supposed to be sleeping so having shorter chapters is just most convenient for me this may be shameful to admit but i get overwhelmed with big chapters it’s probably genuinely because i have less checkpoints and that stresses me out when i have less pressing matters at hand. i do enjoy long chapters my point still stands though i like having checkpoints
