I'm only saying this for your sake, but objectively, it's not a smart idea to bring politics into normal hobbies. You might lose supporters of your blog just because of your political stance, and that would be terrible since you're so amazing!! It's only a suggestion, but I really reccomend not bringing politics into anything.

Hear me out, Wolverine x Magneto. Yes I love Prof X x Magneto, BUT THEY'RE MY OTP 😭 I call their ship HeavyMetal (because they both have metal related powers (/metal in their systems)).

It actually came to me in a dream, swear to God, and after that I just went with it and now I ship them. They consume my thoughts and it's all my friends'problems. I have debated on who's top and bottom, but it was really just for giggles because I don't want to make this ship all about sexual stuff- I want that angst with fluff/comfort y'know? I make up fanfics and edits in my head because no one else sees it, overshadowed by Cherik I'm afraid.

Just think about it, they're both old and have lived through horrible events, they both see the world for how it is- a place where mutants might never actually get the respect they deserve, and they both just need a hug. The difference between them? Wolverine actually got that hug, and now he can be the hug for Magneto. They're old grouches who like what they like, and while they adapt to the world around them, they don't like it much.

Like you said other ships outshine/has a bigger fan base (loganpool, cherik, ect.) But they would be so fun to see a fanfic for! Probably set during the Krakoa arc, also Wolverine would 100% be a odd Gardener/Farmer, Mag would build a metal scarecrow but they're no pest, he just built it for logan to look at while he's working

Also Erik would 100000% give logan outfit advice, look at his dumb cunty fits lol

I can't find the other one but it's the Red outfit he wore when cyclops was being judged by the council for his crimes

I think he called himself Erik the red in the panel but when I search it all I get is a unrelated villain
