Race captured by a drone looks like a race car game
The idea of a smart city is imprinted in the technology sector’s viewpoint diverting technologies to innovate more in the domain. The cities are called smart when technology is incorporated into all fields, raising the level of ease with improved scope for research and development.
The adoption of these systems into the daily life of the people living in cities, making them healthier, safer, and more prosperous, is occurring at a slower pace than expected. The abrupt hike in artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms, broader availability of low-cost IoT sensors, and distributed hybrid multi-cloud IT architectures have unraveled a plethora of opportunities in the development of smart cities. Factors that drive the growth of interconnected smart cities are: Read More
Connected cars are not too far away from being introduced. There will come a day where the people can simply sit in a car and drive off, instead of setting the temperature, seats, batteries, as everything would be automatic.
The cars would be autonomous and make a steady approach to the destination the driver prefers. After reaching the destination, the car would park itself in the prearranged parking location, which includes a wireless inductive charger.

Since the first airplane took flight over 100 years ago, virtually every aircraft in the sky has flown with the help of moving parts such as propellers, turbine blades, and fans, which are powered by the combustion of fossil fuels or by battery packs that produce a persistent, whining buzz.
Now MIT engineers have built and flown the first-ever plane with no moving parts. Instead of propellers or turbines, the light aircraft is powered by an “ionic wind” – a silent but mighty flow of ions that is produced aboard the plane, and that generates enough thrust to propel the plane over a sustained, steady flight.
Unlike turbine-powered planes, the aircraft does not depend on fossil fuels to fly. And unlike propeller-driven drones, the new design is completely silent.
“This is the first-ever sustained flight of a plane with no moving parts in the propulsion system,” says Steven Barrett, associate professor of aeronautics and astronautics at MIT. “This has potentially opened new and unexplored possibilities for aircraft which are quieter, mechanically simpler, and do not emit combustion emissions.”
He expects that in the near-term, such ion wind propulsion systems could be used to fly less noisy drones. Further out, he envisions ion propulsion paired with more conventional combustion systems to create more fuel-efficient, hybrid passenger planes and other large aircraft.
Barrett and his team at MIT have published their results in the journal Nature.

Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) have been lately deployed both in physical and online retail marketing to offer an excellent digital shopping experience.
However, with AR and VR still in the advent stage, its practical applications in the retail sector are still fragmented, allowing research analysts to capture attributes in the interdisciplinary origins.
The theoretical framework of online marketing comprises of three main areas: https://goo.gl/nZGrXs
Technological innovation in medicine takes place in a major area managed by knowledge inequalities and trust-based relationships. A legal framework of professional advice-giving governs these relationships.
It is assumed that this interaction is between patients and doctors. Introducing AI in healthcare challenges this assumption, though there is disagreement about whether human doctors will work with Artificial Intelligence or will be replaced by it.
Artificial Intelligence will not replace humans due to unresolved issues in transposing diagnostics. It will assist doctors with accurate information to provide better care to the patients. There is a significant shift in the patient-doctor relationship with the involvement of AI in healthcare.
Consumerization is an emerging phenomenon in healthcare where the role of the patient is changed as a reactive receiver of care. They play a vital role in managing their health, deciding their payment method, and in demanding the quality of service.
Patients can access their medical information in many ways. WebMD website is the leading healthcare information provider where its online portals, mobile platforms, and health-focused publications serve as better healthcare plans for consumers and physicians.
Consumers utilize this website because they trust that the answers to the healthcare-related questions are reliable, accurate, and easy to understand.

Digital transformation is transforming industries beyond recognition. Not only does the digital revolution simplify tasks but also makes them more transparent. Retail banking is one such sector where digitalization has immense potential. Especially as the conventional systems are getting outdated and the older workforce aware of the hardcoded methods is retiring, banks are under high pressure to digitalize their systems.
Although the greatest advantage of the traditional banking system has been the trust factor, consumers are increasingly shifting towards new players such as Google, Amazon, and Apple because of the convenience in transactions offered by them. Customer preference is also putting the retail banking under pressure to digitalize.
