to whatever teenager needs to hear this:
statistically your generation is having less underage sex & drinking less & doing fewer drugs &Ā generally making better choices than your parentsā generation
the shit you see on tv is just a bunch of middle-aged tv producers (who should know better) sexualizing you & projecting onto your age group.Ā
do your best not to internalize it as normal, and absolutely call them on their bullshit.Ā
For all my fellow Gaylors/Kaylors out there still holding on through these difficult, lonely, and uncertain timesā¦

Eye wonder...
Keep an eye open:
- remain vigilant for someone or something
- keep a lookout
Have one eye on:
- to keep looking or paying attention to someone or something else while you are doing something else
- look
- focus
And ā> Why does she make the shape of a triangle around her eyes???
The Eye of Providence :
- is a symbol recognized by Freemasons everywhere as a beautiful representation of the watchful care of the Supreme Architect
Also called The All Seeing Eye:
- which also appears on the One Dollar Bill
- āOn the right-hand side in the background of Mona Lisa, we can locate the form of the masculine pyramid. In the language of symbolism, this is also known as the pyramid of the Sun or the pyramid of the Man. In Mona Lisa, Leonardo even painted a spot on the pyramid to indicate the two parts: the body of the pyramid and the all-seeing-eye of the apex. Later in this study (Theorem 10) we prove that the height of the all-seeing-eye pyramid is divided so that the two parts form a relation that is the golden ratio.ā https://houseoftruth.education/en/teaching/mona-lisa/the-all-seeing-eye
- the Mona Lisa - most famous painting in the world, and her identity is never truly known ...
Yup. Itās gone this far. I am playing the DaVinci Code with Taylor Swift. š
Also... as a fun side note,I like to imagine that Taylor rented out the Louvre where the Mona Lisa is in Paris just for her and Kar for the most romantic date of all time, maybe on their honeymoon ššš

When Derek Chauvin was found guilty on all three charges surrounding his murder of George Floyd, the conversation found on Tumblr (and elsewhere online) reflected two major points:
This is not justice being served. There is no justice in the face of murder, and if there were, it certainly would not be found within the American carceral system. The verdict stemming from this trial will not stop the violence and oppression Black people face at the hands of an over-policed country.
āBlack people donāt need reminders that Chauvinās guilty verdict doesnāt mean the fight is over. Itās okay to celebrate small victories.ā
These truths are not at odds with each other. They can, and will, co-exist.
Take a moment today to celebrate George Floyd and his beautiful family. Keep his little daughter in your mind and hearts. If you want to feel a bit of relief that at least one person was found guilty for their hateful, heinous crimeāplease do so. And then remember that it was just one person. Remember that if you are an ally and an accomplice, you must not stop learning. You must not stop fighting for real justice.
Accountability for police killings is rare:
Since 2005, 140 law enforcement officers have been arrested for on-duty manslaughter and murder. Only 8ā5%āhave been convicted.
And that doesnāt account for the 98% of police killings where there were no arrests for murder or manslaughter.
Black people are three times more likely to be killed by police
And then yesterday, roughly one hour after Nancy Pelosi thanked George Floyd for āsacrificingā his ālife for justice,ā police in Columbus, Ohio shot and killed 16-year-old Ma'Khia Bryant.
That is not what justice looks like.
Rest in power, George Floyd.
Rest in power, MaāKhia Bryant.
