"You still got the scars to prove they're not all that useless", Sanji says as he absentmindedly traces one of them on Zoro's arm.

Zoro unhappily grunts, and brings Sanji's hand up to examine it. He gently traces the lines in his husband's palm with the pad of his thumb, and murmurs, "Your scars don't show, but you've got some inside."

"Healed now, thanks to you...", Sanji says equally quietly.

Zoro's free hand moves to Sanji's bangs, gently brushing them aside to reveal both of his eyes. After all these years, Zoro's still in awe of how gorgeous his husband is, and his heart still skips a beat when his lover's gaze dive into his.

Sanji chuckles.

Zoro blushes a little at being caught red-handed, he drops his hand and averts his eyes to the far side, looking into the nature spreading outside the house.

"Aww." Sanji tilts his marimo's chin towards him. "You're cute."

Zoro pouts a little.

Sanji leans in for a chaste kiss.

Zoro sighs of delight, caressing Sanji's cheek and brushing his fingertips against the earring he gave him.

Sanji hums into the kiss, and leans back. "You know, I was disappointed at first, that you wouldn't wear your wedding ring... I'm glad you explained that you could take care of it better, if you wore it as a necklace", he says as his fingers trace lazy patterns on his marimo's chest, reaching out for the golden ring.

"I care about it like I care about you", Zoro simply says.

Zoro frowns, nods the negative.
