hi! ive been on here for a bit and have yet to make an intro post so here i am!!

im swirlingstarrynight, you can call me opal! i go by she/her pronouns but sometimes i feel like she/they

im queer, im a minor, im american, and recently ive been really invested the mcu, gravity falls, team starkid and podcasts like midnight burger and the penumbra podcast! (this stuff is most likely what ill be posting about!)

this is the first time i tried a kind of different process for a portrait like this, and i really liked just letting go and creating :)

it’s been a bit since ive posted art, but there will be a LOT more soon because my friend commissioned me and a couple other good friends to draw a series of homebrewed monsters! this is the first of the series: the nightmare sovereign. cool, right?
