The Christmas Tree Adorned with Gaza’s Rockets
While the world celebrates and decorates Christmas trees with lights and colors, here in Gaza, the only tree we know is adorned with rockets and shells, illuminated only by the flames of war. Year after year, we do not celebrate; we remain trapped in an endless cycle of suffering.
This year, fear was a constant guest in our family. My children never felt the taste of safe sleep; the sound of bombing shook the fragile walls of our house. Food scarcity forced us to share the little we had, and access to medicine and education has become a distant dream.
Gaza is a city struggling to survive, and my family is part of this struggle. We try to live despite the siege, the pain, and the constant feeling of being forgotten by the world. This holiday season, while the world waits to decorate its trees, we wait for life, for safety, and we hope the world will look at us with humanity before we are forgotten beneath the rubble.
Help the children of Gaza. Help our families standing on the edge of survival. Perhaps the helping hand you extend will be the only glimmer of hope for us in this darkness.

Their friends helps them and collects things as well! The barn owl, who is the right-hand man, their name is Mariatu! And the swan, there is like an entertainer. Her name is Coppelia. Dilaya is Sitayri’s mother. Diwa’s grandmother and Clay’s great grandmother. The second tribe leader and most furious and powerful in their tribe. Dilaya causes the generational trauma through our their bloodline She caused the generation rage that pass down to Diwa and Clay. The Dilaya effect is that “action has consequences” that will affect them after their have their revenge or experience/witness their most important person died( Clay Death Au and toxic Au ) The aftermath is that they will be closed off and not empathy. They say Dilaya is monster but the Tribe was greatful because without her the tribe will never existed. They made statue of her in her honor, but Sityari knows how horrible she really is…
