insane to me when former gifted kids hear other people (mainly disabled people and dropouts) talk about being horribly traumatized & irreversibly harmed by the school system and their response 9/10 times is “oh yeah??? you think that’s bad??? well my teacher said I had potential and everyone said I was going places and then I didn’t” like we’re supposed to be absolutely devastated for them because of this. lmfao

Little bit of Angst from some stuff in an rp I’m in.

The two OC’s are Omega, who is by @emilysramblings and Cyclone who is by me. Then of course there is Tartar from Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion. Story explained below.

Cyclone is an octoling from the domes- but specifically from somewhere really far beneath the surface with some more extreme beliefs. After he escaped to the surface, he hid as much as he could of his prior identity.

That is until someone exposed him. Fearing someone would find him, he hid somewhere nobody would want to go: the deepsea metro. This went about as well as anyone would expect, and Cyclone is forced to become a super soldier to serve Tartar’s needs.

Omega on the other hand knows nothing outside the metro. It’s not even that she fell down there, she was raised down there. It’s all she’s ever known. Due to what she endured at a young age, she has a very fragmented sense of self. Most of her parts are fully loyal to the metro, but one in particular sees more.

When that part meets Cyclone, she offers him a chance to get back out. Due to the metro’s brainwashing, he struggled to know if she could be trusted. However, he ended up taking the offer and fighting with what little will he had out to the surface.

Cyclone hopes one day he can save her

Omega has accepted that she would never be able to live on the surface

Being a bed person doesn’t make anyone less of a person. They are human, and the term is human rights. Don’t get why that is a hard concept to learn for some people

i think a lot of liberals need to confront the fact that they don’t actually believe everyone should have basic human rights. a homeless person could call me every slur under the sun and i would still want them to have housing, food, etc. the belief that everyone is entitled to basic human rights should not hinge on whether you “like” someone or not. at that point the entire ideology crumbles.

i dont know who RFK is. i dont care. i know lots of level 3 and severe autism families have different opinions on what he said. i dont know my opinion because i didnt listen to the whole thing and topics like this are really hard for me.

but one thing all these people agree on is that he was talking about level 3 people. he was. and whats making me really upset is instead of standing up for level 3 autistics, people are using level 1 autistics as examples why RFK was wrong

so again they are completely pretending me and people more severe than me dont exist. again again again

people are using the fact that they can work, that theyre smart, that they have all these fancy jobs to argue against him. instead of saying why did he point out taxes first? why is he immediately thinking of how useful level 3 autistics are?

instead they just once again want to prove how good they are and how better they are than people more severe than them. and doing that they ignore us again
