My New Year's Resolution: Draw (and subsequently post) everyday.

FE7 was my first Fire Emblem game and I probably got a little too attached to the characters but Matthew especially.

Look, I animated something.

I like posting comparisons. I’d say there’s a fair improvement here.

I animated this at the beginning of the year. A character concept for the Deer-gods story. His name is Caligo. I loved the shapes of his face so much I had to make him move.

Look. It’s these nerds again. Diu and Latha are probably the most well adjusted couple among my characters, which is sweet. One is a killer and the other is a DJ. They also live in space. 

You ever look back at something you made, and you go through it and it’s almost like seeing it for the time? And it’s just that thing that was exactly what you wanted to see of those characters. And even though you made it yourself, seeing it again makes you giddy. It makes you laugh, or cry, or...

I went for a 20's era look for a girl I'm conceptualizing for a futuristic sci-fi project. That totally makes sense.
