I worship the lake his symphony shadows, with sordid summers and sweet apparatus. moonlight outshines my feelings like blinding stars around the sun. calm springs like fanciful winters with him is like blinded caged birds falling in love to the sound of each others chirps. a sweet song from him to soothe me in his lagoon of love. exciting days awake me in the night like his calls to me from over the bend. just around the corner i will be there for him, waiting impatiently like a fluttering butterfly in the california winds. i smell his scent like saccharine, it’s alluring and showers me, leaving my trail of petrichor to fill his emptiness. my love is like his empathy, anyone can feel it, take it, have it, yet never enough to cry the way i do for him. my heart explodes, this volcano of ichor and lava of forgiveness, i’ll never forget the way i feel. so free and full of hope, i will listen to his song forever.
