Danny, homeless and hungry on the streets of Gotham, smells Condiment King and attacks him mid fight with the bats. At this point Danny is half feral from hunger and CK is yelling as this random kid steals all his stuff. The bats quickly lose track of this kid, partially because of thier own laughter.
Or
Dannys already having a hard time in Gotham. He wasn't sure how he got here and Clockwork is either ignoring him or can't hear him so he has to figure something out on his own.
Que Condiment King repeatedly destroying every place he tries to live (usually by accident or by being caught in the crossfire of this rouges fights) eventually Danny loses his cool and creates his own food themed hero/villian. That's right.
Pepsi-man
Of course Pepsi exists in the DC universe (maybe not, but it does now cause I say so) and with it the ye old commercials or Pepsi-man- Pepsi's failed mascot- also exist.
So whenever Pepsi-man appears people are in disbelief and go "Pepsi-man?!" And are baffled. Danny of course isn't that ripped...or tall...or an adult...but his parents were evil mad scientists and he and Jazz were raised from a young age to be thier heirs in a way. So naturally he made a robotic exoskeleton to pilot around. That was Pepsi-man. Danny never speaks as Pepsi-man, and uses exaggerated body language and gestures to get his point across.
Ya know.
Whenever he's not actively making Condiment King eat dirt.
It had been a political meeting with the big media, as Vlad had to listen to other citizens talk about their heroes and complain about how they have more supervillains and damage. As a reporter, asked Vlad, the mayor of Amity Park, what he thought about it. He himself didn't talk about villain attacks or similar.
Vlad:" It's not my fault that your heroes are failures."
Yeah Vlad insulted every hero and city just with 1 sentence.
Politician angry from Metropolis:" What the hell are you talking about?"
Vlad:" How many years did your heroes fight their villains in your cities with collateral damage?"
Someone from Gotham said, " Maybe now 20 years maybe more."
Vlad:" The hero in Amity Park only took 1 year to show all his villains the right path, that they dropped being evil, and only once in a while visit to fight the hero without any damage to the city other than that place where they fight."
Vlad had built an Arena for it; it helped both Ghost and Danny fight and train.
Many of them are silent, as if they couldn't believe 1 word to say, " Impossible. Our heroes tried it for so many years."
Vlad:" If your failures did their job, you wouldn't have any villains years ago. So, yes, I don't think your heroes do their jobs."
Vlad then didn't talk anymore about this theme; he got bored of it.
And for the media and politicians, 1 online search and they saw Vlad told the truth... And they were kind of angry and confused. How comes that boy in 1 year fixed all his villain but someone like Superman or Batman wasn't able to do it for years!
This is just the masterpost for my Complex Organisms AU

Warning of murder and talk of blood and Vivisection.
The Riddler, also known as Edward Nygma, drives in the stolen family car as fast as the speed limit could take him out of Amity Park.
His green riddler outfit was coated in blood that wasn't his, lightly glancing at Jazz, his distant niece in the passenger seat.
Her eyes were baggy and red as she sniffed, holding onto the three bundles in her arms.
A 2 year old toddler that was his nephew and two newborn(neverborn, uncle eddy, they neverborns.) Jack fenton sitting in the back between Sam and Tucker looking awkward as hell.
He had read the letter two days ago and visited his distant half-sister Maddie. He wasn't expecting his distant niece to be tied up in chair, some warp verison of the fear containment bubble, weakly crying and begging for them to let danny go.
He expected worse from his half-sister, but in that basement... it was like a living nightmare brought to life before his very eyes.
That was Danny on that table. His favorite little munckin of a deaged nephew with inverted coloring muffled screaming into a fenton mouth gag while Maddie digging into his chest with Jack tremblingly behind her, his large hand shakenly so much holding a jar with two babies in it, eyes glancing at Maddie and Danny with some sort of realization peaking in his glance.
Edward cautiously tips toe down the stairs as quietly as he can, holding his question mark staff as he listened on.
"M-Maddie, ph-Danny might be telling the truth. He is bleeding red now!"
"Oh, Jack, remember ghosts tend to mimic and possessed people around us. Phantom had been living right under our noses and using our sweet Danny like living costume, look how small he gotten afterall, Who knows how long he has the time to copy all Danny's personality to sabotage our weapons. Now be a sweetheart and hand me that bone mallet." The way his half-sister sounds so cold yet sweet made Edward sick to his stomach as he was inching closer, holding his staff at the right angle for a clean shot at her head.
"No. No, this is wrong. That Dann-o, that's our baby, Maddie! He has the exact scar on his left midsection from the fishing trip. Ghosts don't heal from scars when they are dead, Maddie!" Jack shook his head, taking a step or two back from Maddie. His face was becoming paler. Jack looked as though he was going to lose his lunch at any moment with horror in his eyes.
"That Thing Is Not danny anymore when it -" Maddie turned to yell at Jack was when Eddie struck. Hitting her hard in the head was a clean knockout.
"E-eddie?" Jack, look wide-eyed at Edward Nygma, who looks ready to swing at him but stopped, glancing at table.
"Sew Danny up now, or I swear to Meemaw Gretchen, I'll beat you within every inch of your life if he doesn't make it." Eddie growled as he hit Maddie one more time for good measure with the staff.
He thought she was clear from the insanity that was their mom, but apparently not.
He pushed back the flashback and kept focusing on driving. Those GIW creep tried to ambush him one more time, then he got a bloody cane to beat them with too.
Part 1 here <-
“Hey uh pal, what you got there…?”
Grundy hummed a rumble, blinking slowly as he turned slightly towards his… what were they… Not an enemy, not a threat… they were… friend! Yes, they were the friend that didn’t mind that whenever he came back he came back different.
He uncurled his arms slightly, proudly showing his friend what he’d found splashing in the water growling angrily. His friend blinked, mouth opening and closing for a few moments as he waited patiently, careful not to drop the squirming duo.
“Babies,” he proudly declared as they let out squeaky roars.
This time it goes a little differently. The halfas are all still captured; Vlad, Dan, Dani, and Danny all taken in by the GIW. A GIW more serious and dangerous than they had been before, competent under new management. This time however the Fenton family does not take this slight lying down; Jazz, forced to inform her parents of the truth is backed by all their righteous and protective fury as they rain hell upon the federal facility to gain back their beloved children and dearest friend. All prejudices forgotten and discarded as the lies they were for the overwhelming love and loyalty to those they know far better than propaganda.
A rebellion forms under the guidance of Sam, Tucker, and Valerie; unwilling to bend or stop even with their parents’ pleads for their children to instead choose safety. With their children unrelenting they can only join the rebellion, the war that has begun. Make no mistake it is a war, horrific and unyielding as neither side is remotely willing to surrender no matter the numbers lost. It is however a very much one sided war however as the government loses their minions and the ghosts swell in numbers and power. Without the Fenton’s research and technology to draw upon they do not have the means of destruction they previously had, though they make a vile effort; cracking cores and destabilizing forms, slaughtering human and liminal civilians en mass.
They free their friends, their loved ones. But there is a cost, a price to be paid. Dan and Dani destabilized, their cores cracked and the only method to save them was incubation by another halfa. Vlad’s own core was too cracked to safely nurture them and Danny being the only other halfa in existence the child of balance is forced to be the one to carry them. So many are lost this way, though ghosts can be incubated by other ghosts to save them. Jazz herself is lost to them twice, a valiant warrior standing tall for those she loves and what she believes in; she dies as a human and is destabilized as a ghost. There is almost another war amongst their own ranks for the honor to incubate her. In the end Clockwork himself intervenes to incubate her himself.
They all lose someone, some even lose themselves. Many Fade, the grief and fear too much to carry for an eternity. But in the end they win, though their home realm becomes too saturated in ectoplasm to remain stable. For the safety and recovery of the earth all those affected by ectoplasm or made entirely of ectoplasm needed to go either to the realms or an alternate world that was not so affected by ectoplasm. A world that would not be destabilized by liminals seeking a home in a mortal world when they could not remain within the Infinite Realms. It took time, a lot of time, until they ran out of time and were forced to choose. In the end a somewhat chaotic world was chosen; a world of heroes and villains, of science and magic.
They made their new home in the midwest of a parallel United States, a parallel Illanois. An area that had never become Amity Park but would become so now that they had brought their city to that parallel world. They slotted in as though they had always been meant to be there. As though they always had been there. It took some adjusting, they kept the shield up, and they kept to themselves. They had no problems with it really, they adjusted quite well actually. So much so that the youngest grew restless, interested in the outside world. Finally reaching adulthood, most of the graduating catalyst class Casper High could no longer reasonably be held back.
Though most fled in smaller packs to different cities, unable to leave behind the soul deep bonds that had been forged in blood, ectoplasm, and fire; there was one group that was larger than the others. Danny Fenton accompanied by his twin toddlers; Dawn and Dusk, Sam Manson, Tucker Foley, Valerie Gray, and their ghostly guardian Jazz Fenton. She had not stayed a child for long upon reforming unlike her physical bodied halfa niblings and had gained a power boost due being incubated by an Ancient. She was long able to disguise herself as a fully fleshed out human, though she kept all the weaknesses and strengths of a ghost and carried a cold with her that was unmistakable.
They were ready for their cross country road trip to visit every hero city they could before hitting Europe.
Phantom gets split from his human side. It's not on purpose this time. In fact, the two were somewhat surprised when the GIW had a version of Ghost Cather and that they could set an actual trap up for him.
The only good part of their knockoff was that it couldn't trap ghosts, and they couldn't understand that it was splitting Danny and Phantom. They just assumed Danny Fenton was overshadowed.
Due to this, Fenton had to pretend to be "free," and Phantom had to flee the human world by opening a weak portal. They had a policy for this. The plan was that Phantom would wait in the ghost zone until the heat died.
The only part that wasn't planned was for one GIW agent to shoot a bazooka right as he makes a short portal close. The rocket had been coated in ectoplasm, and it was large enough to push Phantom in the chest further into the Ghost Zone.
The flight path was out of control, throwing him into neck-breaking rolls. Phantom couldn't even tell what way was up or down, just feeling the rush as multiple doors blasted past him, islands flew by, and the rocket's smoke covered his sight.
He couldn't even hear his scream above the burning flames, but he was sure he was yelling. Eventually, he could push the thing off his chest, letting it fly in more turns until it crashed against a floating mountain, blowing it to pieces. Phantom panted as he watched the debris flout into the void.
Then, he realizes one crucial thing: he has no idea where he is. Nothing looks familiar. He pats his suit down, realizing that the Infinite Map is with his human half.
He has no means of navigation, and Phantom is lost in the endless void of the afterlife. He tries to make a portal home, but his training has only just begun.
He only learned to make a portal into the zone, not out for it. Phantom can't even make a green circle appear even when he puts every ounce of will into his power. He almost passes out from the strain.
He's stuck. He's alone. Fenton is likely being wounded by both the GIW and his parents, which means help is not on the way.
It took him an hour for his panic to calm down. In that time, he was attacked three different times by overly confident ghosts who had never heard of Danny Phantom. It is obvious that this is a different picking order in this part. He's quick to establish himself at the top of it, forcing the only ghost who speaks English to tell him how to get back to Earth.
The ghost shakes and shutters but can point in a direction. It's not the right direction because he ends up on Earth in the middle of the American Revolution. Phantom flies back to the Zone only to find it has shifted to a different area again.
Other ghosts attack him again, thinking his small statue belies his power. Again, Phantom humbles them for their hubris and tells them to go through a different door to get home.
This Earth is in the middle of World War 2. Phantom leaves. He tries again and again and again.
Each new ghost he defeats, each new door he tries, each new world he finds. None of it is correct. Some aren't even Earth - the sky is red or purple. There is more than one moon. Some have beings that don't look human despite being alive.
He's nowhere near his home, and hours turn into days. Days turn into weeks. Before long, Phantom realizes he does not need food, water, or sleep. He just feels the empty hollow feeling in his chest, which is where Fenton's life should be.
Half his soul is missing. His fights get a little more violent. His grips fall to unsettling silence, and his longing for home grows with each failed world.
Word goes that Phantom, Terror of The Realms, is searching for something. Whispers and rumors spread among the dead and living alike. Worlds that got a glimpse of him remember and pass his story down generations. Sometimes, as a hero in times of need, sometimes as a monster of the dark, and other times as a myth.
They all have one thing in common, though.
Phantom does not know time moves on in each world, and his legend grows. He does not know that he shouldn't interfere when he sees something unjust or what he thinks is Fenton.
He mentions it too when the disappointment drags him down with each failure and poorly makes a portal to the Zone.
Phantom, Terror of the Realms, is searching for his other half. He is the lost soul of a lover whose soul was still in the world of the living. It's all rather romantic.
Especially to young Jon Kent, who finds Phantom's myth among his grandfather's records of their culture. He gushes about the Kryptonian love story of an ancient god to Damian.
His friend thinks it's too sweet, even with the "undefeated" part of the myth. He commissions a necklace with Phantom's symbol for Jon from a talented artist because he's a good friend no matter how grumpy he pretends to be.
Jon also takes to wearing and praying that symbol alongside his Rao prayers in an effort to connect to his lost culture. He isn't expecting that when he is praying at Wayne Manor, saying the words out loud for his friend (since Damian will never ask, but he likes to learn new things), Phantom answers.
He appears in a flash, the exact image of that Kryptonian depicted thousands of years ago. He floats above Jon with glowing green eyes voided of warmth, and frost encased most of his body but- his presence.
It feels like protection wraps up their physical forms. Jon and Damian have never felt such a rush of ecstasy and warmth. Phantom looks around, whispers under his breath, and, with one raised hand, goes through a wobbly portal.
The two children are left stunned, with only the cool ice that formed around the outline of a male body as proof that Phantom is real.
They immediately start worshiping him, praying he will protect them in combat and help them find love. Jon gets a boyfriend the following week, and Damian gets a girlfriend at the same time. The kids take this as confirmation that Phantom favors them. They spread the word among their classmates, who post it online, and somehow, kids across the nation are joining in Phantom Prayer.
Clark and Bruce are mildly alarmed their sons may have started a cult.
They are more alarmed when Phantom returns, claiming he needs to rest before continuing his search. He fears losing his humanity and wants to be around humans to keep "Dan" at bay.
Jon and Damian offer their homes to the deity without question. No matter what the Justice League founders try, they can't get Phantom out of their houses.
They hope the god finds his other half soon.
So a bit of a twist on the usual dp x dc trope; Vlad is the one who has come to live in the DC universe for a fresh start after he’s done his redemption thing and is getting therapy and he’s traveling around DC basically starting his company and wealth from scratch but without overshadowing people(still sketchy but what business man isn’t). Vlad happens to be in Gotham when Danny(18 y/o) comes to visit with Dani(Ellie)(5 y/o) and Dan(3 y/o) for a long weekend. Dick, Jason and Damian are the first ones to see the little family in a Batburger Danny dragged Vlad into. The little family is concerning for a number of reasons not because they are obviously(to a trained eye) not human(no nonhuman racism here) but the fact that Vlad and Danny are their usual antagonistic selves(Vlad is in a better place and a better parent then any one including Vlad thought he could be but him and Danny will eternally have beef) Vlad is very familiar with Danny and the obvious age difference between Danny and Vlad(with the kids and their ages added in the picture isn’t looking good). Encounters like this happen with all of the Batfam and Danny, Vlad and the kids behavior and conversation snippets the Batfam hear do nothing to clear up the Batfam’s misunderstandings. It all ends at gala; Danny(looking gorgeous in a ice blue dress with actual ghost ice crystals on it and coming in dramatically in a white fur coat from the Far Frozen) is Vlad’s date(the kids are left at the hotel with their ghost babysitter) and the bats manage to get Danny alone and corner him after the gala and while Batfam has the best of intentions this is quite literally none of their business(and Danny and Vlad were not blind to someone following them all this time) and though Danny was quite capable of taking care of himself he calls for Vlad with his aura and to say Vlad was pissed at what he finds when he answers Danny’s call is an understatement. Danny and Vlad don’t explain anything about the kids or what they are but they do take the Batfam to task for stalking, invasion of privacy, illegal interrogation and overall being nosy assholes who don’t know how to mind their own business. Vlad and Danny then leave and the Batfam are left with a lot to think about(hopefully), when Vlad moves on from Gotham at the end of the weekend Danny takes the kids home until the next vacation to visit Vlad and Vlad stays out of Gotham from then on.
(PS. This is good Fenton parents AU they are trying their best to make up to Danny and Jazz for what their inattention has cost their kids but their friendship with Vlad is firmly over(the only reason they haven’t Ended him is because of their grandkids).)
The attack is completely unprompted, they’re doing some kind of public appearance and he randomly attacks them one day.
The do their best to fight back but it’s clear to them it’s a loosing battle and Batman is about to do something drastic when all of a sudden there was a loud shout
“I left you alone for 15min!!!!” Dan freezes not moving an inch
The Justice league is confused but grateful for the reprieve, though they all freak out when they see a teenager jog up to the monster that nearly killed them
They just stand there in shock as he scolds the pouting creature especially superman (he later informed them that the creature made a remark about them surviving much longer this time) when suddenly the 2 disappear into a glowing green portal
They all are at the watch tower a week later pouring of what little information they had when the intruder alert goes off.
Before any of the can react the same tired looking teen walks in with the creature trailing behind him.
“I’ll be back in a few hours, I gotta study for my exams. If you need anything just call me and I’ll get here as soon as possible.”
The teen ignored any and all reactions from the team. He nearly set down a brown paper bag and turned back to the creature.
“Make sure you eat your lunch and be nice to your new friends.” He smiled before disappearing into a portal.
The league doesn’t have much time to react before the creature is upon them once more.
Danny is so glad Dan found some new playmates to keep him entertained while he studied
Masterlist | Prequel | Part 2
Gotham was a great place to hide.
A city swathed in shadows and secrets, and drenched with the stench of death. He would blend right in.
Jazz was watching the city pass by through the windows of the bus, fingers clenched tight around a hidden weapon and blue eyes scanning for a threat. She hadn’t relaxed for a moment since they’d left amity, and likely not since her parents passing. She tried so hard to hide it, to be strong, but she looked so tired.
Danny was curled in his lap, grip tight on the lapels of his jacket as he huffed his way through a mild night terror. Vlad wanted to wake the boy, but he’d been sleeping so little since they fled, he needed the rest even if it was fitful.
He purred softly, a rumbling in his core that had once been something he deeply despised.
Danny, sweet innocent Danny, purred back. His baby core, still forming months after the accident that claimed his parents lives and changed him irreversibly, rumbled weakly back.
He hadn’t realized Danny was like him until he’d caught the ghost boy flying through the town, believing he was dreaming. The four year old excitedly told him he was like a superhero now, then collapsed in his arms to fall asleep. He’d recognized Vlad even with his blue skin and monstrous face, chest stuttering through a happy purr as he snuggled against him.
He’d had to talk to Jazz and Danny about how they were different, how he was different too, and that they had to hide. People had begun looking for their kind. Jazz wasn’t quite like them, she was death touched, but not half dead like them. She’d been in the same room during the accident, but her only change was the slight whitening of her hair.
He was doing his best keeping them all mostly alive in the castle, childproofing his precious Packers memorabilia and trying to learn the kids quirks. They didn’t trust food, not until he cut it up very small, and they were adept with guns and weaponry. He knew Jack and Maddie were passionate hunters, but he wondered just what they had taught their children.
It wasn’t helping matters that his obsession had broken during the death of their parents, both the love of his life and need for revenge gone. It left him lost and ill, but focusing on the kids was keeping him from fading away. Maybe they were becoming his new obsession, and maybe that wasn’t such a bad thing.
The castle was old and run down, secluded from the world the way he wanted it be be. He was starting to build a fortune through less than reputable means and they were okay. He’d give the last pieces of Maddie, and that idiot Jack, a good chance.
Then they were attacked.
It happened suddenly. They were in the middle of a family dinner when the door was kicked in and there was yelling. Jazz grabbed the ecto pistol she always had from under the table and began to fire, shielding her brother with her body. She was only six, but she moved like a trained fighter as she began throwing anything within reach at their attackers.
They were wearing white, people Vlad had seen skulking around since Jack and Maddie’s deaths. One of the blasts seared through Vlad’s shoulder, human flesh sizzling as he screamed and tried to shield the kids. They were closing in, he had to do something, he had to save the kids. Their kids. His kids.
Without thinking much beyond that he wrapped his arms around the two children and when intangible, flying them through the ceiling just in time before a green shield he’d once helped blueprint kicked to life and covered the castle.
That led them to now, riding on a bus to a city Vlad only heard bad things about, a city to get lost in.
They were surviving off of the cash Vlad had on him, all his cards dumped. He’d need to make new IDs for the kids as well as himself, and find a place to stay, but right now he just needed to keep going.
A stolen jacket was draped over his shoulders, hiding the hastily bandaged wound that wasn’t healing even days later. Jazz carried a bug out bag everywhere with her, and the few things she had were helping. They’d grabbed a backpack for Vlad with necessary supplies at a department store before hopping on the Bus, all procured by him illegally while Jazz watched Danny outside.
Danny had asked him, brows furrowed, why he was stealing. That the cops and superheroes would come and take him away. His eyes filled with tears, shining a brilliant green.
“I don’t want you to get taken away.” He took a shaky breath, grabbing Vlad’s hand. “I don’t wanna lose you too.”
He’d had to explain that sometimes people stole to survive, trying to explain the grays in the black and white view of good and evil. Vlad knew he wasn’t a good person, but he was doing what he had to and he didn’t feel the slightest bit guilty.
The bus pulled into Gotham, brakes giving an ominous squeal that startled young Daniel awake. Vlad held him in one arm, the other hand winding with Jazz’s that was trying so hard not to shake, and they stepped off the bus.
