Hey just a general PSA from someone officially diagnosed and documented:

Now is not the time to seek out an autism diagnosis.

RFK's plans have been made very clear and any diagnosis you do get will get you put on this "national disease registry" they're proposing.

Trust me when I say I completely understand the need for accommodations and a better understanding of yourself, but if you have gone this long without being diagnosed, you will be better off waiting.

Furthermore, listen to and advocate for folks who are diagnosed, especially folks with higher support needs. They'll be the first ones targeted for whatever bullshit "experimental treatments" the government tries to push.

Struggling with delayed processing is so bizarre bc it’s not always big things but sometimes silly little things too. A few weeks ago I was at a cute bookstore in a different city I was visiting, they had these cute tiny notebooks and pens and I picked some up and actually thought ‘wow this is the perfect thing, this is exactly the type of tiny notebook that would be so cool to carry around with me’ and then I set it down ant left! Actually buying it didn’t even cross my mind. Only a few DAYS LATER I realized oh I wanted that and I could have bought it 🤦‍♀️

kathryn and david getting more screentime than philip and trevor plus actual character arcs over 3 seasons while philip and trevor get single episode arcs is my villain origin story. no I don't care about kathryn's marriage issues. no I don't give a shit that david has anxiety now. this is the equivalent of devoting half of star trek's runtime to the hypothetical civilian spouses of kirk and spock.
