I think every computer user needs to read this because holy fucking shit this is fucking horrible.
So Windows has a new feature incoming called Recall where your computer will first, monitor everything you do with screenshots every couple of seconds and "process that" with an AI.
Hey, errrr, fuck no? This isn't merely because AI is really energy intensive to the point that it causes environmental damage. This is because it's basically surveilling what you are doing on your fucking desktop.
This AI is not going to be on your desktop, like all AI, it's going to be done on another server, "in the cloud" to be precise, so all those data and screenshot? They're going to go off to Microsoft. Microsoft are going to be monitoring what you do on your own computer.
Now of course Microsoft are going to be all "oooh, it's okay, we'll keep your data safe". They won't. Let me just remind you that evidence given over from Facebook has been used to prosecute a mother and daughter for an "illegal abortion", Microsoft will likely do the same.
And before someone goes "durrr, nuthin' to fear, nuthin to hide", let me remind you that you can be doing completely legal and righteous acts and still have the police on your arse. Are you an activist? Don't even need to be a hackivist, you can just be very vocal about something concerning and have the fucking police on your arse. They did this with environmental protesters in the UK. The culture war against transgender people looks likely to be heading in a direction wherein people looking for information on transgender people or help transitioning will be tracked down too. You have plenty to hide from the government, including your opinions and ideas.
Again, look into backing up your shit and switching to Linux Mint or Ubuntu to get away from Microsoft doing this shit.
Don't stop supporting me.My brother is in dire need of your donation. He was injured again and suffered an amputation He is now in Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in great need of treatment and pain relief, which will continue until he travels outside the country for treatment. Here there is an increase in all prices, whether health medicines or healthy food I have no choice but to raise funds for my brother and my family, as he also has a baby who needs milk And some of the proteins and vitamins that my brother needs, he also cannot provide his family with their own needs. I lost my little son. I don't want to lose what's left of my family I am happy again to help my family from this danger that we face. Please, friends, why do I have hope but you?My family is now facing severe famine. There is nothing to eat due to the closure of commercial crossings and the lack of humanitarian aid You are the only hope. I hope that this difficult situation will end, that the war will stop, and that we will live in peace But do not forget, my brother, I really want to treat him, it is an urgent matter. Thank you ππ΅πΈπ

In the heart of war-tornΒ Gaza, where destruction and loss are a daily reality, lies the deeply moving tale ofΒ Dr. Husam FarhatΒ and his family. Amidst the relentless bombardment, Dr. Farhat faced an unthinkable tragedy:Β the martyrdom of his beloved sisters, Inas and Amal, along with their husbands and children,Β and his brother Mustafa. This devastating loss shattered not only their dreams but also their hopes for a peaceful future.
Before the war, my life revolved around a beautiful home where I lived with my wife, our daughter Sham, and our sons Muhannad and Muhammad. This home was more than just a place to live; it was a sanctuary filled with love, warmth, and the joy of watching my children grow. Every corner of our home echoed with their laughter, turning it into a place where dreams for the future felt not only possible but inevitable, but then the war came, and in an instant, everything changed. The place where we once felt safe and secure was reduced to rubble. The life we had carefully built, the dreams we had nurtured, and the bright future we had planned were all torn apart. The war didnβt just destroy our home; it uprooted our entire existence, leaving us with nothing but the painful memories of what once was, Now, standing in the ruins of our former life, I'm left with fragments of a distant dream. The joy and security we once knew have been replaced by loss and uncertainty as we face a future overshadowed by harsh realities.
And it wasnβt just my home that was destroyed. My accounting office, one of the most renowned in Palestine, was also reduced to rubble. I had worked tirelessly to build this office, which wasn't just a place of business but a reflection of my passion and dedication to the field of accounting. It was our primary source of income, providing financial stability and security for my family, My office was well-known for its exceptional services and strong reputation among clients. Over the years, it had become a symbol of success and hard work in the accounting world. But the war took it all away in an instant. Everything I had worked so hard to achieve was destroyed, and years of effort and dedication were wiped out in moments, Now, I stand on the ruins of my office, just as I stand on the ruins of my life, trying to piece together the remnants of my dreams and memories. This office was a source of pride for me and my family, but the war has left us with nothing, facing an uncertain and difficult future.
The war didnβt just destroy my home and office; it shattered my dreams and future. As a PhD candidate in Accounting Information Systems at Universiti Utara Malaysia, I was in my final year, pursuing research that is a significant contribution to my field and valuable to entrepreneurs. With a masterβs degree with distinction and a bachelor's degree, I also taught at several universities, sharing my knowledge and passion, But the war disrupted everything. Years of hard work, academic progress, and my contributions to the field have been torn apart, leaving me with an uncertain future. Now, I am faced with the daunting task of not only rebuilding my life but also reviving the dreams and ambitions that once drove me. The journey ahead is filled with challenges, but my resolve to continue remains strong.
Now, after all this devastation, my family and I are living as displaced people, homeless and jobless, with no clear future for ourselves or our children. Every day is a struggle to find food for my children, who have been robbed of every chance at a normal life by this war. Once, we lived in Shuja'iyya, in North Gaza, where we had a home, a life, and dreams. But now, after being displaced over nine times, we find ourselves in the refugee camps of Nuseirat, the war has stripped us of everythingβour home, our security, and our future. Our daily life has become a constant search for basic necessities, a far cry from the life we once knew. The dreams I had for my children and myself now feel like distant memories, overshadowed by the relentless challenges of survival. Each day brings new uncertainties, as we navigate this harsh new reality, clinging to the hope that one day we might rebuild what was lost.
We urgently call on all those who stand in solidarity with us, and every supporter, to help save what remains of our lives. Your assistance, even in small ways, can make a significant difference in helping us rebuild and restore our shattered world, rebuilding feels like an insurmountable task, but with your help, we can begin to piece together what was lost. Your contributions, no matter how small, can provide the foundation we need to start anew, offering hope and a chance at a better future for our family. Your solidarity means the world to us as we navigate these challenging times.
Thank you for your compassion, your time, and your commitment to freedom and justice.
With deepest gratitude,
Dr. Farhat's Family
I am Imtithal from North Gaza, I share with you the deep sorrow of my family from Gaza, so I created this campaign for him to try to help him and his family. I know that donations are not easy in these times, but I believe that every
contribution has the power to change someone's life. That is why I am participating in this campaign with all my faith, not only to keep them saved, but also to protect their dreams and help them get out of Gaza. I am Imtithal from Gaza, I lost all my dreams and my job as a dentist, I lost my home, I lost my brother Obaida who was killed and he had young children, and my family lost their entire livelihood because of this war in Gaza. We live in miserable conditions and live in poor conditions with my family of 35, most of whom are young children. We are always trying hard to provide a living as hunger and thirst kill us. The scene continues, full of depression, sadness, fear and horror. The siege imposed on us, the
genocide that follows us, all kinds of torment and suffering, the spread of diseases, all of this and more kills life in Gaza, kills our existence, and our lives have turned into an endless nightmare, amidst hopes hanging by a thin thread. We are suffering now, and we do not know what tomorrow will bring. We do not know when this war will end!!! Because we have lost everything beautiful, we are about to lose more. We face harsh conditions and a dark future for our lives, displacement, poverty and pain. But there is a glimmer of hope with your help and generous donations. We can leave Gaza and build a new life and rise from the rubble. Every small donation can make a big difference. That is why I seek through your donations. To get out at a time when an individual pays huge sums of money ranging between ($5,000, $10,000) per person. My family and I are in dire need to get out of Gaza so that we do not lose our lives, and we also need to rebuild our lives again, so that we can rise and return as we were. I hope you take a minute to read my story and help me.
Hello, Iβm Ghada, the mother of the two children, Ahmed and Adam
I was left from Gaza to receive treatment in Egypt.
After 7 October my home was destroyed and we lost everything we have
Five years ago, I had a stroke in the left foot during childbirth. I still suffer from pain until this time. During the diagnosis, it was discovered that I have a genetic factor that causes blood clots and needed lifelong treatment.
For my son Ahmed, he is seven years old, he was diagnosed with electrical charges in the brain and because of that he suffers from excessive movement and distraction.
I hope you help me and support for treatment needs (for analysis and radiology).
On the other side I also need living needs of living in Egypt ,and the cost of rent the apartment and studying needs for my sons .

Dear friends and compassionate supporters,
This is Eman Zaqout, from Occupied Gaza, Palestine. I am a Biotechnologist ,π©Έπ and scientific researcher contacting you at a really desperate moment.
I am seeking your assistance to raise funds for saving our lives, facing the starvation in Gaza and help me achieve my doctoral degree dream after being awarded OWSD PhD Fellowship for inspirational women.ππ©βπ
Just like any motivated and loving life woman, and for years, I poured my heart and soul into my work at Al-Shifa Hospital and Turkish Palestinian Friendship Hospital, as Biotechnology Specialist serving cancer patients with compassion and skill.πͺπ€
[ photos of Turkish Palestinian Friendship Hospital before and after the IDF destruction ]
[ photos of Al-Shifa Hospital before and after the IDF destruction]
I also gave medical lectures to students at different universities and training centers in Gazaπβ
As a result of my outstanding grades in my study and the excellent performance in my job, I have been a holder of different scholarship and I am active participant in many research visits and scientific missions. π©βπ¬The last scholarship as at McGill University in Canada three months ago before the starting of the genocide in Gaza.π₯
My life changed dramatically when Israeli military launched a sweeping war against Gaza. My home and our neighborhood in the North have been destroyed along with our belongings and precious memories early in this crisis.ππ
My job and my husband's job are gone. Israeli military forced us to evacuate from the north Gaza to the south where they claimed it would be the safe zone but it is not at all. Our sweet home and neighborhood have been destroyed.
Forced to flee with nothing but the clothes on our backs, today, we find ourselves sheltering in a displacement camp lacking access to sanitation, medical supplies, food and drinkable water.Β I will not talk a lot about the dire and unbearable life we have to go through, as no word can express it fairlyπ
The good news in the midst of this tragedy, that I am one of the 22 women from the developing world who have been awarded OWSD- PhD fellowship to pursue my PhD study in Malaysiaππͺ. But now I am stuck in Gaza unable to achieve my dream because Israeli army has occupied and closed all the border crossings ππ
Meet 22 fellows awarded OWSD PhD fellowship
This genocide has been more than a year of hell and horror. We have reached a point where there is no hope left for us here in Gaza, where we are unfortunately just waiting for our turn to die.
I refuse to succumb to despair, holding on to the belief that brighter days lie ahead.
With your kindness and generosityπ₯Ί, I hope to survive the genocide and reclaim the path to achieving my doctorate ππ©Έ
Your compassionate aid would mean the world to me and my family.π₯Ίπβ€π΅πΈβ

Because we live a life that is not fit for human life.ππ’π’
This is part of our suffering.ππ
You wake up in peace and safety to the pleasant sound of birds.
Unfortunately, we wake up to the sound of planes and explosions, which is really scary for me and my children.π’π’π©Έ
As you pass the bathroom, you wash your faces and brush your teeth. We stand in line to Entering the bathroom . π’π
When we come to wash our faces we don't find soap, and even the price of toothpaste has reached a point that makes us say no no πππ
Our children are suffering from malnutrition. We can't find any food to eat in the markets. But at a very high price.ππ¨π¨πΎ
And when you prepare a meal for yourself and your children, all that is left for us is yesterday's bread, which is cold and dry and contains nothing, and we prepare it from dirty, spoiled flour that is not worthy of being food for animals. Is this human dignity?ππ’π
We suffer a lot in the tents. - The spread of insects and infectious skin diseases. I suffered from chronic high blood pressure due to the heat of the tents at first, but I also suffer from Chronic stomach diseases(Duodenal infections, bacteria and the Mediterranean ).π’ππ©Έ
Often we wish we could go back to how we were before the war, to go back to our simple lives.π
Unfortunately, our children have lost all their rights, the most important of which is education.π’πβοΈ
We suffer from the lack of clean water, otherwise it is very difficult.π’π§
I hope everyone who sees this post will help me to stay alive and to meet the needs of my children. ππβ€οΈ
