This is an interpretation exclusively based on the character.

I didn’t add much about Art or Patrick because it’s also a point of view where Tashi was only 18. A girl trying to figure out who she was —just like they were— and trying to build a life she could be proud of.

Before anyone tried to define her.

Some things she already knew: She wanted more. She wanted to be the best. She wanted to be herself.

This journal is my interpretation of that Version of Tashi.

It’s not perfect—it’s personal.

It’s a glimpse of her, through my eyes.

you only ever see her at night, the most beautiful dark eyes visible just above the water as she stalks you, too shy to ever make contact. but when she does she's by far the most beautiful creature you've ever laid eyes on. long hair that moves like seaweeds in the water and cascades down the expanse of her back like a waterfall, skin soft and silky to the touch despite living in salt water, the most beautifully kaleidoscopic tail that shimmers in the moonlight. her being just as curious of you as you are of her and resurfacing every night just in the hopes of catching a glimpse of you. big sigh.
