Dear Friends I present a close up portrait photograph of my Gremlins puppet character sculpture . This was life size , modelled in oil based clay and painted with acrylic paints to give a realistic finish and look . I placed the sculpture on the toilet so that when I took the photo it would look as though he was clowning about in the bathroom . These were naughty characters that tore about the place causing havoc . My sculpture was based on the characters from the film Gremlins .

Hello dear friends, may I present a new toned photograph of a previous sculpture I created called The Glamour Girl. This was a life size female figure portrait in a sitting pose , modelled in water based clay.

I will look forward to showing you photo no 2 of The Lost Boy Of Venice in the making very soon, please bare with me . This new sculpture is proving difficult in terms of working out the right pose for the little ghost boy.

Hello dear friends, may I present the next photo of my sculpture Wisdom in the making to you. I have now added the hair mass to the sculpture and I am developing the hair style.

The sculpture is now really starting to take on the shape of an old lady and very soon the portrait will be the face of my dear late Nan.

There is still much to do and it will be all the little adjustments that I'm doing all the time now that will finally be part of achieving the likeness.

I'm going to really push this sculpture so that in the end I deliver up a very life like portrait, I can't wait to show you more of this sculpture very soon. Hope your having a great week and keep well and Take care.

Dear Friends I present my second artistic photo of my sculpture The Egyptian Pharaoh . This was modelled in clay and about 21 inches high , shown here as a purple hue tone .

Dear Friends as of currently I am planning out a website I will hope to have this running sometime in August . Where I will hope to place art work's for sale . I'm working hard on my new sculpture Mirror mirror vampire , I'll place an early in the making photo soon . The wooden clay armature, Hello dear friends tonight I wanted to present a photo that would be a real insight into the making of a life size sculpture.

This photo shows the life size wooden armature that I created for a previous statue I've presented on here called The Glamour Girl. This is what's inside of the clay in order to hold the sculpture in shape.

The aim of the armature is to take the weight of the clay and the armature must fit inside of the clay the same way that a skeleton fits inside the human body.

I usually create my armatures out of wood, steel brackets and nuts and bolts and once the armature is in place and the figures pose is correct. I then cover the armature with clay and slowly build up the figure and face and any clothes etc.

Of course when you look at the clay sculpture, you wouldn't know there was an armature inside, but there is and it's a very important factor of a sculpted project.

Hello dear friends, may I present a newly creative version of my sculpture called The Glamour Girl. I've taken many photographs of past sculptures and it's only perhaps over the last two years that I've started to edit the pictures. To see if I can create some interesting images that might work for future wall art, I call this image " Burning Up " and of course it's The Glamour Girl. Hello dear friends today I am showing you a character I created long ago which I nicknamed 'Egg', this little fella had a head the shape of an egg. He was a character portrait that I created for an animation workshop. The animation workshop that I created this for is where I trained as a sculptor and looking at this little fella brings back great memories.

The idea of this sculpture was to create a happy friendly looking personality and make the character look kind and approachable.
