I always like how clay sculpture looks in black and white photographs, it seems to give an almost more striking appearance about the piece .

Hello dear friends, may I present the next photo of my sculpture Wisdom in the making. The sculpture is starting to really develop now as I slowly build up the face.

As I work more and more on this my dear late Nan's face will slowly emerge and a real likeness will take shape. The sculpture is getting really interesting now as I attempt to capture the full look and character of my Nan.

I will now show a photo of this sculpture in the making at the end of each week until the sculpture is finished. As I feel this will be a great insight of how I went from a wooden armature to a fully furnished portrait.

Hello dear friends, may I present a newly creative version of my sculpture called The Glamour Girl. I've taken many photographs of past sculptures and it's only perhaps over the last two years that I've started to edit the pictures. To see if I can create some interesting images that might work for future wall art, I call this image " Burning Up " and of course it's The Glamour Girl. Hello dear friends, may I present an update on my sculpture Wisdom, the sculpture has really taken on the true look of my dear late Nan now. Though there is just some very fine tuning left and then very soon I will be able to present the final photograph.

There's a rosy look about the face and I'm really capturing the character and expression of my subject. Once I've finished this sculpture I will look forward very much to starting a new sculpture which I will call The Lost Boy of Venice. I'll talk more about this new project very soon once Wisdom is finally finished.
