OHHHHHHHH I LOVE THEMđ
this is actually very cute i like them very much
Im planning to write a detective Ness fic, just, GIVE ME TIMEâź
I already have the opening scene locked and loaded in my head for the past month, my headcanaon of Ness walking into the local pd and just giving over his evidence and research that incriminates like 17 people to the police just because he got bored.. it eats at me.
Local people have been scratching their heads at the carjacker in town for 6 months, and Ness just calls them up all cheery "Heya there, I've got *whatever secret/codename the pd calls the mystery carjacker dude* ready for yall to come pick up. No, he's fine- just thought you guys would want 'em wrasseled up by now :)" and he's just sitting on the guys back in his driveway to keep him down đ
For that one it could have been a coincidence, but the pd finally decide to give him a trial on helping out the detectives and then it goes on from there.. but that's a secret, its for the fic :)

Sometimes, Steve just needs quiet.
The party can be so loud, and overwhelming sometimes. But he's always just dealt with it; he lets his fingernails dig into his thighs, looks at the ground, and makes himself as small as possible. And when they leave, he lets himself go into his room and curl up in a ball on the floor, and exist in the quiet (and sometimes hit his head against the wall until everything inside his brain shuts up).
No one's ever noticed before. Not until today.
Dustin, Mike and Lucas are all yelling about something. Steve's not quite sure what, but it's making it hard for him to focus on what Robin's saying. The sound of Dustin's shrieking laughter feels like it digs into his skull, and Lucas snorting in return feels like too much. He manages (he hugs himself and curls up a little, rhythmically tapping each finger to his thumb).
And then Robin gets excited in the middle of her talking and starts excitedly tapping his shoulder, which is usually fine (usually he finds it makes him feel quite fond), but today it feels like the gentle taps are painful zaps of electricity that reverberate through his entire being. The tapping of his fingers get harsher, and he finds it harder to keep eye contact with Robin.
He doesn't even realise he's curled up more and his finger tapping has turned into digging his pointer finger's nail into the pad of his thumb, until Eddie (who's next to him on the couch) reaches out to hold his hand. He wants to pull away immediately, but Eddie doesn't let go until he's looking at his face.
Suddenly the panic and overwhelm isn't so ignorable. Not without the rhythmic tap tap tap, or the sting of pain from his nails.
"You wanna go up to your room?" Eddie asks, quietly enough that Robin can continue talking to the other teens without feeling interrupted.
Steve just nods simply, and when Eddie lets go of his hand he finds himself shaking it out to get rid of the lingering touch he can feel. He refuses to meet anyone's eyes, keeping his gaze on the back of Eddie's t-shirt as he follows him out of the room and up the stairs to Steve's room.
Distantly, he feels bad for abandoning his house guests.
"Hey, hey hey." Eddie says, voice still so soft and gentle, when they close the door of his room behind them and his breathing starts to speed up, "What's happening?"
Steve shakes his head and swallows harshly as he starts to pace back and forth, still shaking his hand out. No one's ever been here for this part before.
"Quiet." He requests in a whisper, and sees Eddie nod a few times as he sits on the bed.
Eventually, Steve just lays on the floor, like usual. Lets the feeling of the cold, hard floor against his back ground him, and thanks all the gods he doesn't believe in that his parents' house is relatively soundproof. Finally, it's quiet.
After a minute, he feels the shift in weight as Eddie gets up from the bed and walks over to him. He tenses up at first, worried Eddie's going to start to talk. Because he's not ready.
But Eddie never does what he's expecting.
Instead, he feels his presence as Eddie sits and then lays down next to him on the floor. And now the gentle sound of Eddie's in-breaths and out-breaths are all Steve can hear. And it helps his own breaths calm down, until they're just deep breathing together, hands close but not touching.
Steve never though he could have someone else here when he's like this, but somehow, it's still quiet enough.

I wanted to post something securitywaiter related a while ago.. and here it is idk
Angst idea đđ
Steve cutting off the party after he continuously is attempting to show hints heâs not ok emotionally and needs someone but keeps getting brushed off. With the passive âoh we all feel like thatâ âis it really that big a deal stillâ âso? We survived rightâ âoh just let it goâ all about hinting heâs still not ok from the upside down but the others have each other, everyone has someone. So Steve just starts closing off and it starts with not coming to things all the time, then doing the bare minimum of driving the kids, and just going to work on a loop until he stops all that too. Robins been off work now too since sheâs packing for college with Vickie. So literally no one notices until Eddie doesâŚ.
Hehehehe ideas Lexi ideas đ was gonna do anon but fuck it
This ask is over a month old because Iâm so goddamn behind on these, but here we are! Some angst with a dash of hurt/comfort for my favorite lil angst gremlinđ
It starts small.
Being around his friends and the kids doesnât sound as fun anymore. Itâs feel draining and like maybe he shouldâve stayed home and wallowed in bed instead.
He still shows up to things for a while, determined not to let anyone see that the world feels like a heavy burden resting on his shoulders alone. Heâs strong though. A leader in the group. The brave and fearless one. Cracking isnât allowed.
So Steve agrees to driving The Party places and he shows his face here and there as much as feels necessary so that nobody finds out.
But itâs hard. Getting dressed is hard. Taking a shower is hard. Being around people who love him and think heâs indestructible is so fucking hard.
And Jesus Christ, he actually does try to speak up a few times about what heâs feeling. It comes out in the way he asks that the lights stay on during movies, too afraid of the things that hide in the shadows now.
Instead of understanding, heâs met with laughter by some of the kids. With being brushed off or minimized for his worries.
âSteve Harrington, slayer of demodogs and demobats, scared of the dark? Yeah, right⌠Good one, dude.â
He covers his watering eyes with his own chuckles. Theyâre probably right and heâs just being a baby.
Despite this failure, Steve tries again when he asks the older teens if they ever think about how different everything would be if the upside down hadnât opened up. He confesses that heâs afraid and that he still jumps at loud noises sometimes. He talks about how heâd change it all if he could.
Again, heâs pushed aside with, âThatâs all in the past now. Let it go, Steve. Dwelling on it wonât help anyone.â
Steve tries.
He tries and tries, but nothing works.
Then he stops showing up, stops answering his phone when the kids ask for rides, stops going to work until he gets a message on his answering machine telling him that he no longer has a job. Robin mightâve noticed, but sheâs days away from leaving for college and things have been going so well for her that heâs been extra careful when sheâs around.
Steve dreads the day that she leaves and heâs all alone again, but he wants her to be happy.
He hardly sees anyone else, to the point that when he hears a knocking on his front door, he just assumes that Robin forgot her key at home and he opens the door without checking who it is.
Eddie of all people is the one standing on his front step, looking concerned and even a little agitated. Steve hasnât the faintest idea why heâd be at his house now that heâs finally graduated and working at the new record shop in town. They hardly see each other except in passing interactions. Still, he allows him into his home.
âWhatâs wrong with you?â
Steve flinches at the accusatory tone, crossing his arms on his chest for some illusion of safety.
He knows exactly whatâs being asked, but he can pretend. Just a little while longer, just until Robin is away from Hawkins and can stop worrying about him. He can be normal.
âI donât know what you mean, Munson. Iâm fine.â
Eddie scoffs, coming closer and gently gripping Steveâs shoulders, his gaze bouncing all over the place as he studies Steve intensely.
âYou look like shit.â
âGee⌠thanks, man.â
He rolls his eyes, releasing Steve to place a hand on his lower back instead as he begins leading them both to the couch in the living room like itâs his house.
âItâs not like you can deny it, Steve. You look like youâve not slept in forever and you quit your job. Iâve been trying to figure out what your deal is for weeks. When you didnât show up today, I figured there had to be a good reason and it seems I found it,â Eddie explains, further confusing him.
âShow up to what?â Steve asks, slumping into the couch as the exhaustion he was ignoring takes hold of him.
Eddieâs arm wraps around his shoulders, pulling him closer into a side hug that feels too nice to pull away from. This is more physical contact than heâs had in weeks and it seems to hush the buzzing in his brain.
He seems to hesitate before replying, âRobinâs going away party.â
No.
Oh God, no.
How could he possibly miss something so important? His best friend is leaving for college in two days and Steve was more interested in crying in his bed than showing up for the one person whoâs never let him down.
Fresh tears spring to his eyes and Eddie quickly pulls him into a full hug then, shushing him softly and starting to rock them back and forth slowly.
âHey, youâre okay, sweetheart. Robin isnât upset with you, sheâs just⌠sheâs scared, Stevie. We all are. This isnât like you.â
Steve nods into Eddieâs shoulder, not sure how to even respond to that. Heâs a disappointment and a failure, unable to cope with things like everyone else seems to so easily. He feels weak and like the title of hero belongs to anyone but him.
âIâm so scared, Eddie,â he confesses with a broken sob. It all comes pouring out then. âIâm scared of everything and I canât even sleep without all the lights on and my bat next to my bed. I canât tell Robin because she has to go be her own person and I donât want to hold her back from that, but Iâm alone. Iâm so alone now.â
A gentle kiss being pressed to his forehead manages to surprise him, but he still doesnât pull away. The action is so loving and affectionate, full of comfort from someone heâd never imagined getting it from.
Now that he has it though, Steve doesnât want to go without.
âItâs okay not to be okay.â
That pulls another sob from him.
âI donât want to be broken anymore. I want to be normal, Ed.â
Eddieâs voice comes out shaky, but honest when he tells him, âIf youâre broken, then so am I. Stevie, I havenât slept in the dark in months and I never let my guard down anymore. I donât think we can go back to normal with all weâve been through, but⌠if you need someone to hold you for a while and help you sleep, I think I can do that.â
Steve allows himself to melt completely into the embrace, finally letting his body relax fully and heâs rewarded with more kisses to the top of his head.
âI wouldnât want to be a bother,â he protests half-assedly.
Instead of being told that heâs not an inconvenience or that Eddie doesnât mind having to deal with him, the man says confidently, âI want to be the one to hold you, baby. I want to take care of you and show you how much you matter to me. Broken or whole, you have my heart, Stevie.â
Steve has every intention of returning the favor.
Thatâs the night he starts to feel again, the night that the numbness begins to fade away and he falls in love once more.
I know this is one of Brandons graduation photos, but I can't help but think of Bryce.
I know that little Brycies mam (mom?) Took her out of school when she was around 8, but for the sake of this, she finished school with the double diva diversion ect, still happening.
If anyone was going to be proud of her for graduating, for losing the boy she gave her literal heart to but surviving until graduation all those years later, you're damn right it's going to be herself. Even if her mom only showed up to pocket anything she could from bystanders and try swoon the principle for cash, she's ultimately what got herself here. Not her mom using /her/ sticky fingers to scrape by on rent and steal from former classmates, no, she's who dragged herself through school knowing that she's the one who did that to Bobby. To the boy she loved, loves? Wherever he is, she misses him and her heart breaks more and more each time she thinks of him.
So yeah, you could say she might have had a sharp breath or two when she sees a familiar face across the bleachers by the entrance, looking right back at her with that damn smile. Her face drops from the practised smile it once was, it's been almost ten years, she doesn't think her heart can take it. The shock. Seeing /Bobby/?
She tries to run after being stuck in place, but she drops. She drops to the ground, a hand clutching over where her heart once was as she gasps for air. For air that won't come. Seems like the heart "Dr" Paul, the /mortician/ gave her, won't last a lifetime after all.
She never was good at avoiding stress.
