Do you guys think Barbie exists in the Star Trek universe? Because it would be really funny if they started making like diversity barbies when we discovered aliens were real. Like whenever someone joins the federation, they make barbies of them.

This is Vulcan Barbie, this is Tellarite Barbie, and this is Andorian Barbie, together with Star Fleet Barbie, they make up the Federation Barbies® collection. And then people were like but we want more representation, so they started making a "Federation and friends" collection, and there's Ferengi Barbie, Orion Barbie, Bajorian Barbie etc etc

1/15 gif: julian and garak are in the infirmary, garak is on the medical treatment bench with julian behind him. julian crosses his hands behind his back and says, “someone should do a study.” garak is examining his face in the mirror as he says, “A study?”

2/15 gif: julian looks down at garak and explains, “to try and figure out why some people can't bring themselves to trust anyone, even if it's in their own best interest.” garak holds still as julian keeps talking.

3/15 gif: garak says, “why is it no one ever believes me, even when i'm telling the truth?”

4/15 gif: julian moves from behind garak to in front of him, he grabs the mirror tablet as he goes. “have you ever heard the story about the boy who cried wolf?” he asks garak, who replies with a “no.”

5/15 gif: julian is doing something on the tablet as he explains the story about the boy who cried wolf, “it's a children's story about a young shepherd boy who gets lonely while tending his flock. so he cries out to the villagers that a wolf is attacking the sheep.”

6/15 gif: julian is still fiddling with the tablet as he continues, “the people come running, but of course there's no wolf. he claims that it's run away, and the villagers praise him for his vigilance.”

7/15 gif: garak stands up from the medical treatment bench, and goes to julian. he says, “clever lad. a charming story.“

8/15 gif: julian looks up from the tablet, “i'm not finished.” and resumes the tale, “the next day the boy does it again, and the next day, too, and on the fourth day a wolf really comes.”

9/15 gif: julian looks up and gestures with his hand as he narrates, “the boy cries out at the top of his lungs, but the villagers ignore him and the boy and his flock are gobbled up.”

10/15 gif: camera cuts to garak from the chest up while showing the back of julian from the shoulders up. garak says, “well that's a little graphic for children, wouldn't you say?”

11/15 gif: camera cuts to julian from the waist up and garak from the back. julian who ignores the tablet now and tells garak, “but the point is, if you lie all the time, nobody's going to believe you even when you're telling the truth.”

12/15 gif: camera cuts to back to garak. he questions julian, “are you sure that's the point, doctor?”

13/15 gif: camera cuts to julian once more, he says, “of course. what else could it be?”

14/15 gif: garak turns in place to walk away as he says, “that you should never tell the same lie twice.” he walks off frame.

15/15 gif: julian watches garak walking off while shaking his head.
