SUA IS ALIVEEEEE I CAN'T BELIEVE MY DOOMED YURI QUEEN REVIVED JUST TO GIVE US MORE TRAUMA AND ANGST
feeling kind of sick over the fact that till might've been trying to gift a flower crown to ivan (like all the other kids seem to be doing) and ivan destroyed it because he knew they were cameras. blatant and almost unavoidable miscommunication is the basis of their relationship and this really hammers the nail in.
till giving ivan the flower crown as a sign of affection or friendship, ivan destroying it because he doesn't recognize what it means & is squarely focused on making sure they're not monitored, till being visibily very hurt by it (he looks more hurt/betrayed than angry imo) and retaliating with his usual way of self defense, violence. ivan enjoying till's full attention/physicality during the fight and aiming to get as much as possible because he can't even fathom till wanting him in any other way, even though he was just shown proof otherwise.
We know that Ivan's THE yearner that has always his eyes on Till and is convinced that he doesn't care about him
But every time that Till has his eyes on him without being provoked first Ivan has always his eyes closed
watching you (please look at me once)
Mizisua - Once more to see you
shoutout to mizisua for having the most devastating scenes ever
I've just realized that Sua and Ivan had the same very weird type of jealousy:
- Sua was not jealous of Till even though Till liked Mizi, instead, Sua turned to be upset with Mizi 'cause Mizi was so silly goofy that she didn't realize Till's feelings for her though it was as plain as crystal.
- And in the same way, Ivan was not jealous of Mizi although Mizi won Till's affection. He turned to be upset with Sua instead because Sua's feelings was reciprocated and her affection for Mizi was both-sided while his was not, even though he considered that they were alike, that they were the same kind of person.
Also on the contrary, we can see that Ivan is very close to Mizi in some offical side-arts/side-stories (you can find them on Vivinos X account). Mizi talked to Ivan first and asked him for an explanation when she heard something she didn't understand, and she even asked Ivan to carry her on his back. Mizi and Ivan interaction was far closer than Mizi and Till. Actually, Till's relationship with Mizi was like one-sided, and he just followed behind Mizi to know more about her but did not dare to come closer or tried to strike up a proper conversation.

vivinos saying that sua will make an appearance again 'no matter what form she takes' and then there being an art of her as an android is crazy HMMMMMMM
Gotta be one of my favourite genders.
They all had a huge impact and influence on their respective media. + they're all dead.
me when that one couple doomed by the narrative say i love you without saying i love you (i will be crying over them for several months)
Alien Stage is so crazy to me because it’s. It’s about many things but what stands out to me the most is how the children of Anakt Garden during times of extreme hardship and fear and literal alien colonization, instead of looking toward some omniscient being(s) for salvation or succumbing to cynicism/nihilism, they look toward each other to find hope. All it takes is a connection with one person, just one instance of butterflies in a society where things like love and romance are all but obsolete, and now they’re making that person their God their reason to live and breathe and wake up every morning. (Or, in some cases, to give up their lives. If it means protecting the life of their beloved.) And it’s like. It’s as if what sets us apart from aliens or simply what makes us human is our capacity to whole-heartedly, unabashedly love one another. Even to the end of ourselves.
There is NOTHING on this godforsaken earth that will make the girlies reach the pinnacle of their artistic expression like doomed yuri. I go into the madohomu tag and Michelangelo is in there. Van Gogh is rolling himself a joint after posting mizisua art. Picasso is snorting coke with revue starlight fans. And let's not even get into whatever the locked tomb girlies have got goin on
I’ve always loved the parallel between these two encounters.
The way Mizi and Till notice Sua and Ivan first and look at them with sparkling eyes, while Sua and Ivan return their gaze with lifeless, empty stares—but they still look back. I also thought it might be the first time Mizi and Till see another human maybe (in Till’s case, he doesn’t even really remember his mother) so they’re simply fascinated by someone like them. I imagine Mizi must have felt very lonely. After all, she lived with a loving and kind Guardian, and then suddenly she’s alone, locked away in this box heading to Anakt Garden. And then she notices Sua, who looks beautiful, immaculate, and perfect. It mirrors their relationship well, which seems ideal and flawless at first glance. Meanwhile, Till must have been just as lonely since he’s been “on sale” for who knows how long, and he hates the aliens. Maybe Ivan is the first human he sees pass by. Till is curious and fascinated, even though Ivan has imperfections at that moment—but that’s what makes him human. It reflects their imperfect relationship, rooted deeply in their reality.
this cut is absolutely insane to me.
The yuri was there. It didn't save anyone. It didn't change anything. But it still matters that the yuri was there
Ivan: "I can't live without you, but you can live without me."
Hyuna: "I can live without you, but you can't live without me."
Sua: "Neither of us could live without each other, but it was better for both of us that it was me."
My favorite relationship dynamic in fiction is a worshipper and their God. Not a literal God, but their God. The only thing in the whole world that matters to them. I will live for you, I would die for you, I would kill for you. My only moral compass is You. You can do no wrong in my eyes and I will never stray from your side. I was born to meet you and to love you. You are the only being I pray to. Your life isn’t just my passion, it’s my religion. You don’t think you’re anything special but you don’t see what I see. You don’t see that you’re the only person who’s ever made me feel this way. You don’t understand how beautiful you are to me and I will devote my entire life to making you understand and accept it.
“Eww don’t ship them ! They’re just friends/ they hate each other/ they barely have any interaction/they never even met/they’re not from the same series !”
Pussy. Back in my days, we shipped Elsa and Jack Frost to hell and back because they were both ice themed.
