i wanted to add some realism to six since shes always on the run, going through vents and other dangerous areas. shes bound to have injury at some point, right?

shes a quick thinker, i feel like she would be a good in first aid.

the wings are meant to represent her humanity despite everything shes been through.

shes a bright and strong child, doing her best to survive in a cruel world.

Holy shit I have been saying this, glad you see the vision. Although Navy is generally far more naunced—but at the end of the day they share a common trait of being dickfaces. The yaoi would be INSANE.

Because yeah while Navy's details are complex and quite out of his control and bounds, it doesn't take away from the fact that he was still a terrible father and a horrible husband. Naunce doesn't excuse nor take away one's actions.

Then you have Grampa who is just a dick in general. He did love Grace, but it's heavily weighed that he actively abused and mistreated her during that timeframe, then continued to leave her (who he KNEW was ill) stranded and on the streets with their son—who he also mistreated. But I beg that he treated Grace far worse. The adore he held for Grace early on doesn't erase nor counter any topics surrounding his abuse and so on,,

Navy has more morals than him lmao, at least he wasn't aware of Orchid's illness following his abandonment.

If Navy does happen to find out about it,, God the guilt would be terrible. He honestly wouldn't he able to live with himself, a bit similar to how Orchid couldn't live with without Navy.

you know, i have this whole schpeel in my head that i need to yap about.

the kudos-to-hits ratio in fanfic is way off.

i'm not only saying this as a writer, but as a reader too.

if you like a fic, even mildly like it, leave kudos. if the first few chapters are kinda meh but you think it can get better, leave kudos. if there's even one bit that you think was kinda enjoyable, leave kudos.

you don't need to have an account to leave kudos. it doesn't cost money, it doesn't take extra effort. it is literally pressing a button when you get to the end of your fic.

and for people who "don't want their account attached to that fic" that's bullshit. you're literally talking to strangers on the internet. i doubt they care about you reading smutty fanfiction.
