Awesome collab I got to do with my friend
@ consumes_many_sweetrolls on instagram!
And if you want to follow them on here, here's the link to their blog! @thedragonandthesnake-comic !
If you have instagram you can check them out here! If you like elder scrolls content you’ll love their work! ✨
This is from my personal blog where I post memes and other stuff I like. Follow if you want, I'm posting this here to share awareness of this blog's existence, but also because I think this post is hilarious 🤣
Tfw you made your first d&d character as a kid and then you continue to draw him and change him for the next literal 12 years.
..And now he's the main character of your web comic LMAO
First thing I’ve made since my NAFLD diagnosis! 🥳🎉🎈✨
Yep. That’s right. I have a fatty liver. BUT!! I’m gonna reverse it! I believe I can do this! It will take time but I can do anything I put my mind to! 💪
Me and Xoinu as kids! Can’t believe I made this loser 12 years ago and this is what he looked like LOL 🤣💖
I know this is very self indulgent lol (but that is okay! my characters are like my friends!)
I love this Barbie meme template 😆
To add on to my last post:
When you create something, you do not owe anyone anything. You do not owe perfection, you do not owe your content to even be good! Fuck it- be bad at writing! Be bad at drawing! It’s okay to make imperfect things because the more imperfect things we create the better our skills get over time.
It’s important to be able to take criticism, but it’s also important to not let expectations crush your spirit. It’s so easy to freeze in the face of trying to be “good enough.” And then with that you don’t get anywhere.
Like there’s nothing wrong with making something bad or making something that’s just “okay”. Perfectionism much like comparison is a death sentence for creativity.
Okay but even if that spam account WAS someone making a serious inquiry to buy my art............ that would be just as dumb for real. Only time I'm selling my art is through commissions or cons. That's it.
Image one has delicate lineart that while it shows varying degrees of pressure, the characters are overlapped in a way where they are too homogenous. My solution to this issue is to clearly define each character with a uniform outline running along the very outside edge of the character while adjusting inner outlines as needed to unify the appearance of the outlines overall.
If you are using color to complete your image, image one is fine enough for that because the colors will make the characters stand out as long as the palettes are different enough. However when we are working in screentones / monochrome, a thicker outline provides more clarity amongst the dots and lines.
I decided to redesign Cosmia! Not that her first design wasn’t good; I just wanted to see if it could be improved! What do you think? 😄💖
(First image is the new design, Second image is her old design 😊)
