I feel Regulus was a Quidditch Seeker protege and people would constantly pelt things at him just to watch the way he’d almost subconsciously snatch it out of the air.

Like sitting in class, during an exam, Barty will punt a bottle of ink at Regulus and, without looking up, he will put his arm up and pull it out of the air like its nothing.

James kept a Snitch in his pocket to “keep Reg on his toes” and throw it at him but secretly he was just super fascinated by Reg’s talent and found it endearing
